Envenomed: Satsuki

This was a fun experiment, using slightly different brushes. I'm not sure this is the sort of style I want to explore though. The next thing I'm finishing is a bit more in my wheelhouse.

I made a huge mistake with my files today and lost about five hours of work, including most of what I've done for that Scooby Doo comic. I'm starting over from the point I'm showing you. I get so frustrated that I just had to look away from everything and practice with another tutorial, and I'm finally experimenting with more custom brushes. This looks pretty good though, so I want to develop this into a final piece.

Envenomed: X-23

I'm not sure how long it was ago, but I had a poll about which superhero should get 'envenomed,' and X-23 won, but my sketch went horribly, and I was feeling bad, and I dropped it. 2020 resolution is to go back to things I've dropped and fix them. 

But I don't think I'll be finishing the Fantasy Wars picture. I don't know what I was thinking. It's way more dark than I want, and not at all sexy to me. I'm dropping this one like the piece of shit that it actually is and I'm moving on...

Zelda in Autumn

Lots of experimenting with new brushes and bluring methods. I'm not sure what looks good or better, but the pieces I'm finishing right now will probably look similar to this. I think the goal of this style is to only put fine details into the areas I want the eye to be drawn anyway, and everything else can be a mess. 

Sex-Fight: Camp Camp vs Ben 10

I watched the epsiode of Camp Camp with Vera, a Russian spy, and she's awesome. For some reason I love the Russian honeypot trope. The art I made looks very wonk to me. I'm just not good at drawing my own 'thing' which is wrestling. I enjoy watching it, but the drawings I do just look so bad to me. 

WIPS, Working on Line-art

It might be a bit before you guys start seeing finished works again. I've been deep-diving into tutorials about how to make better line-art, since I think if I can really nail that, than I can actually step back from the coloring a bit, and still get good products. So I'm basically just practicing line-arts this week/weekend, and getting real comfortable with this. Then I'll go back and color these, once I've found more interesting tutorials about that. Just FYI.  

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom

Palutena's Pit

I have never played any of these games, but the characters are cute. Cherubs are funny. In art they are little midget cupid people, but in the Bible they are ferocious heavenly chimera's , like winged lions and such. 

Josie/Thorn/?

I did this sketch of Josie as a sort of festival-girl, but I'm not sure what the point of it is. Should I keep going with the rest of the Pussycats in the same theme, or should I just do a page of lead-girls, like Thorn from Hex girls, and Ember McClain from Danny Phantom? Or move along.

I know that I've promised to back away from politics, but the prospect of escelating tensions with Iran has me fucked up, because it all seems so fucking fake, and it's just like with Iraq, and I fucking hate it, and it matters that both American manufacturing AND American media profit from war, it all just seem so fake. My spidey-senses are way the fuck up.

Fuck You, Scooby-Doo

I'm pretty excited for the upcoming Scooby-Doo movie, if only because I want Hanna-Barbera to remain relevant in American culture for as long as possible. I have some ideas. I understand that each generation changes thingks, but I do dislike how they've changed Velma's voice from being nasally and nerdy to being smooth and articulate.

Mother of the Year

I kinda love it when a character who only gets about 5 minutes of air-time in a series with a million episodes and a million characters still resonates with the audience. I think Mitsuki is like the Boba Fett of MHA. 

Sir Wade Revisited

I'm glad that I went back to touch this one up. The text adds a lot (does it need to be larger though?) and the coloring is better now that I've toned down the saturation a bit. Why do I not see what evryone else sees with the saturation? I think there is something wrong with my brain. I don't think it's my equipment.

How everyone, happy new year! Sorry about my relative inactivity this last week. The holiday actually was a bit distracting, which is a good thing. I'm getting back into it. The Hylian soldiers as Warhammer units has been fun, but I'm worried that the SFW energy of it isn't very interesting, so I may move on to something more smutty later on.

Warhammer/Zelda Poll

I love Warhammer, and I love Zelda. Two of the greatest fantasy franchises, for different reasons. If I had to chose one, I'd chose Zelda, since I think Nintendo has been responsible for several works of genuine "high art," whereas Warhammer is just fun. It's compelling and impressive in it's scope, but it's just dumb fun.

Warhammer: Elves

Not as complex or diverse as my Bretonnian page, but I'm really happy with the two main girls. I added the other sketches to just stick to the promise that this was going to be a concept page. I'm very happy with how the main two turned out. 

Warhammer: Bretonnian Babes

I really enjoyed making this one. This is kinda what I fantasize about when I'm playing Total War: Warhammer (since so many factions don't have female models). Much like my old fixation on Xena, I've really got a thing for that sexy warrior princess bikini-armor archetype.

I think I want one more day to sit on this. I'm really going slow right now, but intentionally. I'm actually trying to not 'experiment' anymore and actually produce some quality stuff. 

The Ganon stuff coming up is going to be a lot of fun. It's going to be better than Bowsette. 

Big Bad Daddy Poll

I'm working on two warhammer and the Wade tableu at the same time. Just finding ways to full in the page is fun, especially when I can be entirely free-form with it. With that in mind, I'd like to do a tebleau focussed on a hyper-sexual violently dominant uber-alpha-male . . . You know that type. He'll be the theme throughout the page, which will just be him being a total boss, crushing female heroes and humiliating male rivals.

I'm pretty happy with how these "tableeus" are looking. Going to color them at the same time. I seriously need to fix some of the heads in the Bretonnian image, but I'm happy with the diversity of characters I created. I'm doing another thing in this same Tableau style right now. 

The dimensions are intentional. They are to fit better with what Twitter has done. I'm not really sure why I'm changing my layout just for twitter, but to be honest it's a nice mix-up. 

Ladybutts

Rewatched a couple episodes. This show actually is really clever, but sometimes the designs are just really random and bad, or sometimes they seem lazy. Chloe/Queen Bee maybe my favorite right now. 

Warhammer Faction Poll

I'm working on a kinda fun fantasy themed 'tableau' right now, and I am enjoying it, and I am also playing Total War: Warhammer 2, which at this point is probably my favorite game of all time. All time.  I want to draw a sexy Warhammer tableau. I won't focus solely on the winner, but the winner will get the most stuff. It'll be 'weighted,' with the most voted factions getting sexy characters/units.

Pure personal project. I really don't like drawing "real world" stuff because if I try to draw a car, it'll come out looking like a shoe, but if I draw a fantasy monster, it'll look like a fantasy monster.
