I'm struggling with my WIPs. This method I've been using keeps leading to really muddy colors, and fuzzy lines. I need to maybe switch back to a different style for a project, just to anchor myself. I really don't like the way this one looks.

I'm overthinking this one. I was thinking just a sexy pin-up of the girls reading "One Thousand Years of Sollitude," since it is similar to Jojo, but I've never read the novel, and so I thought of replacing it with the Hobbit or something I know, and having little LOTR characters running around like her body is a series of hills.

One of the things that really stressed me out last month was the situation with my yard, which is not great. Drawing With Mark

Just for fun. I like the little character I made of my persona. I don't look like that, but that's kinda what I imagine the real Marquis de Sade would look like as a modern guy. This shoes my current method. My upcoming Bel comic is also in this style.

Gorgon Gentrification

So other than the fact that I think Mark looks utterly ridiculous with his beard (I think this will be the last time we see it), I'm very happy with how this came out. Too Many Thoughts, Too Few Ideas

Some of the best advice I ever got as a kid was to never do any drugs unless your dealer did them first. That's basically why I've only done the easy stuff, like weed and shrooms and things of that level. I use to do molly for a while, when I was actually going to big festivals and shows and stuff, but I stopped the molly when I could no longer differentiate between what the drugs made me feel and what I actually felt.

WIP: Skaven Warlord

More Fallout

I'm enjoying how Grog and Vicky are working out. Here are some more ideas. 

1) Vicky is about to get jumped by a Raider. Her gun is dry. She yells 'Spike!' and spike fucks the Raider

2) Grog fucks Synthia so hard that he tears her in half, which is no problem because she can just 'reincarnate' into a new body. They fuck again.

Duke Sketch: Tannis

The one at the bottom is the one I started with. I was doing it at the same time as the Jason picture, and I was going to use it as the test for coloring Jason, if this method had worked out for me, but it did NOT!

However, the Tannis at the very top is the last one I drew, and I actually dig the way it came out, so I'm going to use that method for the Fallout comic I'm working on. I think having a sorta messy line-art makes it look more apocalyptic and dirty. 

Random Sexiness: MHA

I have no idea why it took me so long to finish this. I'd only work on it for like ten minutes a day, which if you know anything about photoshop, it just enough time to set down, get comfortable, and maybe open a file. It's not enough time to actually make progress.

Fallout: Grog, Vicky, Spike, and Synthia.

Drawing this felt good. It went quickly, unlike a lot of my other pieces, which is a very good sign. It just means that I've got a 'feel' for it, and that I'm not agonizing over every line. I've got mixed feelings about using Grog, since he doesn't fit in with the standard 'Blue' framework. Obviously this is not canon. Obviously this isn't even a parody. WIP: Fallout: Grog

Uh oh. I'm really enjoying playing through Fallout 4 again, surprise surprise. I'm also really getting into the idea of doing at least a few comics with these characters. Enough that I wanted to do a REALLY quick concept sheet for them.

Jason, Medea, and Atalanta

Jason was only able to steal the Golden Fleece because Medea was willing to murder and butcher her brother, and just to distract their dad. The amazonian archer Atalanta was injured in the whole deal (she was fighting for Jason's side), but Medea healed her. 

I tried coloring this. The method didn't work. I'm going to go back to my regular method for now, which is how I'm finishing the MHA picture. Ugh. I am not in a coloring mood. I'm more in a drawing mood. 

Fallout 4 Poll

I'm a bit worried that Jason and Medea will be doomed to be nothing more than a cool greyscale render, but I'm still working on it just to kinda test myself. If I can figure out this coloring technique, it could make for some fun imagery.

WIP: Jason

Another Mythology Poll

I'm vibing mythology again. Pick your favorite Greek hero. 

Perseus. Arguably the most archetypal hero of Greek mythology. Totally cool dude. Kills Medusa. Saves a hot babe from a giant sea-monster. At lot of people think Perseus was the guy who owned Pegasus, but that's not really the case. I've fallen back into that pattern where I work on multiple line-arts at once, and then go back to color them one by one. I'm thinking this will be done before the other two that I've shown. I kinda enjoy this sort of brainstorming. Just filling up a page with random amusing things that have some sort of theme in common.

Got some Duke sketch requests that relate to things I've wanted to draw, Warhammer, and Smite. I've never played Smite (and I never, ever, ever will, because it's old, it's multiplayer, and I haven't bought a new game in for-fucking-ever), but I really like the idea.
