I think I'm happiest when I'm making character sheets . . . again. For a while I preferred making comics to characters, but now I'm doing everything I can to avoid working on my comic projects just so I can doodle characters. That'll shift again I'm sure . . . Like tonight when I get to work on a comic page I need to finish. 

Matilda remarks on Mark mating with a goblin matriarch

The next of Matilda's bestiaries, this time on Goblins, and her first time seeing Mark the barbarian, whom I imagine she'll be running into again. Matilda doesn't realize who Princess Cadence is, otherwise Matilda would have to report that info to Empress Tamora, though I think a naturalist is fairly far down the social hierarchy that she might not get involved at all.

Enter Fiona

A follow up to my last Ariela comic. The tentacle monster she created to feed on Rose's magical energy grew to large, and is now destroying the capital city of Erodale. Luckily there is a tiefling paladin nearby who will be able to help. 

Also, after a week of working a various things, I finally finished one! This means that the cascade of finished products should start rolling out each day for about three or four days, followed by another slump of me figuring out how to draw.

Some Updates

-Sorry I've had so few updates recently. Last week was terrible for me for some reason. It was the least productive week of my life, and I can't figure out why. I think I was in bad health, not in a suck way, but in a diet and lifestyle way. I never really left the house or ate anything but burgers. This weekend I did a bunch of outdoor stuff, and ate only good(ish) food, and now I feel great, and today was very productive. Golem Princess

This one was really frustrating. When i started sketching it was my intention to create a robotic princess, one that would be a sort of fantasy clock-work golem. The thing is, I HATE robots. I hate technology. I hate sci-fi. I hate anything that requires anything futuristic. It's not fun for me. It's frustrating, and boring, and it makes me resentful. Mark's Mom and Dad

Glad I got this done, although making this has shone me I need more RAM for my computer. As soon as my PSD file gets over 3gigs my photoshp freezes up and I just have to say "okay, that's the end of this image." I have to just stop, because it gets too big to edit. Major obstacle.

Cassie Captures Kotal Kahn Cumming on Camera

I dunno about this oen. I'm happy with some things. I'm really trying to get my compositions better, but I dunno what I'm missing. A bunch of little things. I think my eye is drawn more to the skull than Cassie, which is dumb because I spent way longer on Cassie then the skull. The positioning of her left arm is super akward, and the lineart doesn't really melt into the color as much as I'd like. Sigh. on to the next thing.

Tauriel

A cocky futa huntress with a big cock. She's a character related to Serafall, a cat-girl I've done a few times. They live in the same fantasy wilderness, and Serafall has become a sort of regular fuck-toy for the very dominant Tauriel.

Man, after this I kind of want to draw my black girls. Maybe I'll make my next Vote-For-A-Thing relate to some sort of interracial lesbian thing.

Fiona, a tiefling paladin who was won over to the side of good after an angel named Balthazar fucked the evil out of her. 

Vote: Which Monster should Mark Mate

Alright, so Septemeber is a special month for me and I want to spend it getting as much Mark stuff done as I can. I'm starting now. Which fantasy creatrue would you like to see Mark fuck? A harpy? A satyr? A centaur? (I realized that a female centaur is called centauride or whatever, but you get the idea). Please keep in mind that these are just three random images I grabbed. Kam and the Dark Dwarven smiths

I've been working on three differing images this last week. This is one of them. A Pokebitch pic is the second. A picture of Cadence and Bel is another. All of them had experimental backgrounds (though I'm probably going to abandon the Cadence and Bel one). I don't know how to make scenery. Dwyn comic

I know the text came out really small and I tried to fix it, but everytime I did my photoshop crashed and I had to reset all my settings each time. After the second time I just said 'fuck it' and stopped working on this. I don't know why. So far it hasn't happened with any of my other files, but the crashes have put me in a crazy sour mood. Faith on the Edge

I stressed over this picture a lot more than I should have just because of the source material. I really, really, really don't like futuristic or 'clean' aesthetics. Everything made by Apple for instance. Hate it. The first few times I saw Mirror's Edge I didn't even realize it was a game. I thought it was a commercial for a deodorant or a computer or something. Dwyn, Dwarf Princess (Now with Armor)

Princess Dwyn with some very practical, very modest, very protective armor. I'm pretty happy how this month had turned out for me. I get to draw one highly detailed Dwarf Princess, and I'm doing another picture for the Fool that's going to have THREE dwarves in it.

Delilah

This character is the Queen-Consort of King Rusty, other character I drew a while ago. She has a very cool backstory and I like how she's a bit of an unquantified variable even among her friends. Something about the picture I drew fails the concept though. I don't know. Lots of little details about position and size. Sometimes it feels like i'm getting worse instead of getting better.

I've very on the fence about this one. Been using this character quite a bit lately, but this is the first actual sheet I've done of her. For some reason I have a bitch of a time trying to draw a figure just standing straight up. For some reason that's really hard for me, I dunno. 

Matilda's Observations on Halflings, an excerpt

A follow up picture that earlier one of the halflings who were banging the daylights out of that barbarian. Here was see them in their natural habitat, being observed and cataloged by a rather racist and close-minded woman named Matilda Tier-Beobachter, who I imagine works for Queen Tamora (Cadence's evil mother). Not sure if she'll become a reoccurring thing or not. I just thought  the idea of a naturalist cataloging fantasy creatures was funny.

Hearthfire

So a long time ago I did my 'Vote on a Project' thing and what won was a parody of the hearthfire expansion. I did that about the same time I started falling behind with my regular work so I basically let it sit for a month and never went back to it, until today when I realized I wanted to make something Skyrim related and knew I had this. Man, I wish I was a faster artist. Better too, but I'd settle for faster. I thought I'd be done with this and one other thing yesterday, but I'm just finishing this now.
