She half turned and pushed at him.

“Roth, I can’t. I’m not ready. It hurts too much.”

He said nothing and continued to press forward.

“Did you hear me? I’m done.”

Again, no response. She went rigid when he continued his relentless campaign to skewer her. He was past the point of no return. Her vision blurred from the dizzying pain. She let out a desperate, bleating cry before he abruptly retreated. She slumped over, trembling, as she tried to catch her br...

He kneaded her throbbing right cheek. “We did this before. I didn’t know what I was doing back then. Didn’t know I shouldn’t hit the same spot too many times. You couldn’t sit for two days.”

“You were horrified.” She let out a breathless laugh and shifted restlessly as anticipation and dread snaked through her. “I told you it looked worse than it felt, but you insisted on icing my ass, putting creams, and kissing it for two weeks straight. I couldn’t convince you to ...

“I’m giving you free rein to do whatever’s going through your mind. I’m in the mood for a little pain.” She sank her teeth into his bicep to provoke him, but he didn’t move a muscle. “What’s your dirty fantasy, Jamie?”

No response.

“Why are you holding back?” She reached around him to run her hand along the front of his pants, over the rock-hard bulge. “You’re gagging for it.”

He pulled her hand away from his crotch and swung around to face her. ...

She wrapped her arm around Roth’s shoulders, as he started toward Heinrich. “Honey, isn’t this great?” she gushed brightly. “Heinrich’s wife and I are going to get together for some girl talk, so he’ll pass my number onto her.”

Mo appeared as Roth halted within arm’s length of Heinrich, who was grinning unrepentantly.

“See you at nine,” Heinrich said to Roth and nodded at her before he ambled toward the weights, humming, as he put his headphones back on.

She delighted in surprising him. It was fast becoming her favorite hobby and one of the reasons she forced herself to roll out of bed. She was curious how he would react to her invading his sacred space.

Mo opened the heavy door for her. She stepped into the gym and raised a hand to shield her eyes. The space was well-lit and filled with top of the line equipment. The early hour must be pushing it for other billionaires because the only one occupying the space was hers. Johan nodded to ...

Are you up?

If they didn’t answer, there was no sense in getting up. She wasn’t sure whether she was pleased or disappointed to see the bubbles appear as one of them began to write a response. Did she wake them or…?

Johan: Everything okay?

Jasmine: Thinking about going to the gym.

Johan: The gym in the building?

Jasmine: Yes. The one Roth goes to. Do you know where it is? I’ve never been.

Johan: ...

Roth jerked, jolting her out of a sound sleep. He lay on his back while she curled against his side with an arm draped over his middle and leg tossed over his massive thighs.

“Another one?” she rasped.

“Go back to sleep,” he rumbled as he untangled himself from her and sat up.

“This is the fourth night in a row.” She squinted at the ice blue numbers on the clock on his nightstand. “You barely got three hours of sleep. Did you have a bad dream?”

“I’m...

His words slurred on the last word. She stared at his profile, mind whirling, as she sensed him drift off. If she was in the same room as his college professor, she wasn’t sure she’d be able to stop herself from attacking the predatory bitch. The professor took advantage of a teen who was intellectually mature, but physically and emotionally, eons behind. She’d been with dozens of men and never been taken advantage of like that.

And the bitch who came after her… What woman would...

Blog Update

Posted a similar book update on my blog to what I posted here on Patreon! Just wanted to let you all know!

And the thumbnail of that tiny human trying to run up the hill represents me and the marathon that is book writing. LMAO

When she started to ease away, his voice stopped her.

“Lie on top of me.”

His voice was husky and drowsy enough that she had to lean down to hear him.

“What?”

One eye opened. “Lay on top of me while I nap.”

“I don’t think…”

“You weigh nothing. You put on a hundred pounds, I can still lift you over my head without breaking a sweat.”

She bit his shoulder hard enough to make him flinch, even though his disregard for her weight mad...

Book Update

Hey everyone! I just wanted to give you guys an update. I’m on the last four chapters—another one of those ongoing, long ass scenes. This is probably the least developed section out of the whole book, and what I knew needed the most rewrites.

I’m hoping to finish rewrites in a week/week in a half. After that, I’ll be doing a final read through/polish to make sure the book is cohesive and make final decisions about things I was on the fence about. This will probably take me aroun...

She gave him a bright smile to cover the pity she felt for the lonely child he’d been. “Well, today’s your lucky day. We are always going to have sweets in the house. We just have to find out what you like.”

She opened the bag and offered it to him. He hesitated, but her heart warmed when he reached into the bag and broke off a piece.

“That’s the gingerbread,” she informed him as he popped it in his mouth. She waited expectantly, but when he said nothin...

When she entered the closet, she saw the pile of clothes she left on the ground when she changed to meet Sarai were no longer there. She hoped the housekeeper was the one to pick them up, but a glance at the suit Roth had changed out of and placed in the designated area for dry cleaning made her doubtful that the housekeeper handled her clothes. She would make more of an effort not to be so careless in the future.

She tugged on sweats and thick socks and climbed into bed with her laptop...

“It matters.”

“How?”

“Because six months from now, you could receive a stalker letter or photographs of what you did today, and you’d be hard-pressed to remember where you went and why. Details that seem insignificant make all the difference in the world. Who you bumped into, a trash can you may have dropped your cup in… Everything matters. Others may be making their own observation reports of your movements, your security team, your habits. I intend to be a...

“I’m banking on it,” she said with such conviction that he took his eyes off the road.

They stared at one another long enough for her heartbeat to accelerate. Just when she was about to tell him to watch where he was going, his eyes flicked back to the road. She inwardly cursed his nerves of steel as he cruised along 6th Avenue.

“We’ll see,” he said coolly, before he asked, “Did you finish Johanna Ledger’s book?”

“You remember the author’s name, too?”...

Heads turned as they crossed the lobby. She resisted the urge to fuss with her hair and focused on putting one foot in front of the other. This was the last time she ever left the penthouse without makeup. Roth didn’t seem to care, but she didn’t want to show up in photos looking like a hag. Ugh. She needed a spa day where she got the works—hair, nails, wax…

She sucked in a breath when they left the building. Thankfully, the Bentley was at the curb. She paused when Roth directed...

She stared after him and tamped down on her emotions before they could run riot.

What the fuck was that? He could ask about her kinks and sexual past, and she couldn’t do the same? She hopped off the vanity and looked at her reflection in the mirror. She looked thoroughly fucked, eyes glassy, lips swollen, cheeks flushed, hair in absolute disarray. She had several wicked love bites that the neckline of her dress wouldn’t hide.

She splashed her face, hoping the cold water would...

She stepped back, right onto Roth’s dick.

Are the windows tinted?” she demanded as he crowded her.

 “Does it matter?”

“Yes! We’re not at your penthouse, on the ninety-fifth floor. People will see—”

“Who you belong to,” he said as he slid in to the hilt and splayed his hand on the glass beside hers. “I wish I could have gotten this office when Maximus was still alive. I’d fuck you right here every day, hoping he’d see you ...

He slipped off his jacket and reached to the back of his waist to pull out his gun. He tossed it in a drawer and without taking his eyes from her, sat, and rolled his chair forward so he was between her legs. “Lie back.”

Her legs quivered in anticipation, but… “I want you inside me.”

“You’ll get me, but first, I’m going to do what I should have the first time you walked into this office. Now, lay down and spread for me.”

Her thighs clamped together as she f...

“I need you on your knees, princess,” he said in a silky tone that brought her skittish attention back to him.

She took a deep breath. In the privacy of their home, she submitted to him without thought. Where they were shouldn’t make a difference. She trusted him to take care of her. She cleared her mind as she sank to her knees on the cold marble. He leaned down and gave her a deep, drugging kiss that told her how pleased he was.

“Five years, I’ve waited for a chance to...

A man she didn’t recognize filled the doorway. He gave them all an expectant look that forced her to step up to Johan’s side and say, “Is Roth here?”

The man’s brows bunched together as he examined her for a moment before he opened the door fully. The palatial office was just as she remembered with gleaming white floors, the massive espresso desk, and the multi-million dollar view that was just a tad less impressive today due to the low-hanging clouds.

The interior designer who put her mark on Roth’s penthouses had taken a different approach with his headquarters. The office was airy, bright, and elegant with a modern sophistication she knew Ariana would appreciate. The designer mixed glass with gleaming wood and used dramatic lighting to great effect. The office was twice as large as she expected and with so much greenery, she found herself wondering if Roth hired a full-time gardener to tend to all the plants. It was clear that the offi...

She swiped at her eyes as Johan opened her door. She took his hand to step out of the car and flinched when the frigid air assaulted her bare legs. Instinctively, she leaned into him for protection and warmth before remembering where she was. She was in the freaking Financial District where her family had dominated for three generations, and she just remarried the latest billionaire to take up residence. That’s all she needed, to start rumors that she was having an affair with her bodyguard...

Even as that warmed her from the inside out, she had the dangerous urge to blurt out the terms of their marriage of convenience and the fact that her father blackmailed him. But Sarai already knew too much about the inner workings of their relationship. She wasn’t sure how much of her real life would end up in book five, but she could always chalk up certain plot points as fiction. Sarai would be none the wiser as long as she kept the details of their personal agreement to herself.

“If things are great in your relationship, wouldn’t that make it easier for you to write the same for Rex and Juliet, or is that not how it works?”

Sarai looked a bit distraught as she struggled to understand the mind of a writer. Jasmine hesitated. Being misunderstood for most of her life, she wasn’t used to sharing her thoughts with anyone. Dad had reinforced this by drilling into her and her sisters that they couldn’t trust anyone outside of the family. But his conditioning...

Book Progress Update

Bitter Confessions is currently at 126k words, and I’m certain by the end of rewrites, will be extremely close to Bitter Secrets word count of 135k words. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if I surpassed book two’s word count. I hope not, but if I do… it is what it is.

I’m past the halfway point and nearing the last third of the book. This may not sound like massive progress, but for me, it’s everything! I can finally see the flag at the finish line. It’s still a ways away....

“Sounds interesting. I may need to read the book,” Johan said as she dove into the back seat.

“What book?” Mo asked.

“The best book I’ve ever read,” she gushed as she leaned between the fronts seats to pat him on the shoulder. “Long time no see. What have you two been up to?”

He jerked his thumb over his shoulder as Johan slid into the seat beside him. “Training your second team.”

Coffee with Sarai outfit inspo

Showing outfit inspiration for this chapter! I just take little bits from each outfit that I like--the flare of the skirt from one, the coat from another, etc.

I started filing images with the actual description for future reference after I wrote Bitter Secrets and realized the series was going to be longer than I expected. The descriptions aren't filled in for the outfits in BC because they aren't finalized yet. I'll do that after publication during a re-read before going into the nex...

Jasmine sat cross-legged on the window seat, head bent over a book, with a massive fleece blanket pooled around her.

“Oh my God, oh my God,” she chanted and smacked her knee as the story reached its glorious, devastating climax. She grabbed handfuls of the blanket and let out a stifled shriek as she blitzed through the final pages and stared at the last one, refusing to believe what was written there.

“No!” she wailed and slumped against the glass with the book splayed on ...

Watching him fight his orgasm did a number on her. She was primed before she got on top of him. She was sure he could feel the damp crotch of her tights and thong as she rubbed along his hard length. She wanted to be naked, skin to skin, but she could hold out a little longer, right? He watched her slow, erotic grind, lips peeled back from his teeth in a snarl as he fought his nature. Twice, she stopped so he could retain control. The third time, he broke.

“Jasmine.”
