Some more one-shot goodies for you. Originally serialized in the pages of Bandai Visual's VISUAL COMIC Mobile Suit Gundam 0080 War in the Pocket Vol.1, it found a reprint in the 1990 edition of Gundam Generation.

So today brings a somewhat extra special release for you all. In compiling my master UC listing, I forgot that a one-shot story "technically" takes place after G-SAVIOUR. Originally serialized in the pages of Gunpla Ace back in 2017, this one-shot was part of a contest that was offered. The color pages that follow weren't serialized in the magazine, and instead come courtesy of the parody magazine "Orirobo Mechanics P" or "Original Mechanics -Parody-" which is a parody of the Great Mechanics ...

Another quick one-shot of some lesser known Gundam comics in between more F90FF! For those of you that read the Revival of Zeon manga that was put out ages ago, this sorta ties into it!

Continuing on with more material for everyone on here, here's another one-shot by Kondo that was originally serialized in GUNDAM WEAPONS 2 back in 1992 before being added to a later edition of his "New Record of Mobile Suit Wars" book published in 1996. And, yes, that is a Gundam Mk-II that you see operating in 0083 by everyone's favorite Jovian prince.

Tucked away in the 08th MS Team Battlefield Record book by Hobby Japan was a one-shot manga that tells a quick little story about the 08th MS Team commander shortly before Shiro arrived. This is the one that Karen references in the first episode as "drooling in a little room in a hospital."

Okay, dipping in to cover a special request before tackling more F90FF! Originally serialized back in a summer 1997 issue of Comic BomBom, this one-shot manga give us a glimpse into the post-war life of Johnny Ridden. Interestingly enough, this would also be given a slight nod in the MS Graphica story that features him as a pilot of a mock Zeta Gundam!

Phew, lots to unpack in this one (as usual) with some more of Tomino's heavy-hitting introspection and worldview construction. Sorry it took a bit longer than expected. Three more chapters and the volume is finished!

Since I just got a couple replacement issues of Newtype delivered the other day, I'll be going back and finishing off the page spreads from the magazine run that comprise the first volume of the novel. So, moving forward, I'll be providing spreads where I can. Oddly enough, Tomino seems to have changed, shifted around, nixed, or outright fleshed out/rewrote certain sections of the story. I'm not going to be doing a comparison of the two like I did for Sentinel, but if anything the compilation...

Apparently chapter 7 never got posted and was trapped in drafts for whatever reason. At any rate, here's the last two chapters and the full volume. With that, the much-needed retranslation of this title is complete. I hope everyone enjoyed!

And with this, part one is complete!
I've made some minor corrections to things in the story (mainly spellings, some wonky ranks, etc).

And with this, the trilogy is complete.
Again, thank you, everyone, for your unwavering support throughout this trilogy. It has been a challenge to convey the "Tomino-ness" of everything. As I wrap some things up, here's what promotion for the novel back in the September 1988 issue of Newtype had to say about things (which solves the mystery of where the "it can't be animated" claim came from):
"In this novel, we can expect to encounter abundant usage of expressions that...

As promised, the conclusion of the first volume of the novel. If anyone notices anything wonky, please let me know. This was a pain in the arse to keep straight given Tomino's wonky naming conventions and whatnot. At any rate, hopefully y'all enjoyed the first installment of the series!

As promised, instead of dropping individual chapters, I decided to just dump the entire volume at once. I did clean up some of the really bad gaffs in Chapter.29, so I apologize for those. I have no idea what I was thinking in my half-asleep Photoshopping daze. Too many retypes instead of working from my text file. At any rate, it'll be onward to Vol.9 to catch the series up! I'll have more Witch from Mercury novel posted soon. Sorry about the delay. Editing the chapter has been a pain. ...
