Joe Pantoliano was cast as the fun sidekick (a cartoon chipmunk) but was let go, replaced by Griffin Newman at Amy Adams request. His lines were entirely redone with Newman.

Werewolf by Night himself is practical and looks like a bad cosplay. Man-Thing is half practical half CGI and looks ok.
