Power Girl Thumbnails

Here's a little screen grab of my progress with thumbnail sketches of Power Girl's comic. That's the first two pages. Page one on the left and page two on the right. Once I have the thumbnails done I'll go back over these and refine them. I've left out the dialogue and writing to keep the story more of a surprise. Say hello to your mother for me.

This weekend I was busy doing something special for my mother. This year is the first time in her life she can't talk to her mother on Mother's Day. My grandmother passed away last year. So I built my mom a small jewelry box this weekend with wood I salvaged from trees on her property.

Thank HammerTyme for this beautifully executed animation. He nailed it. My contribution was a bit of hand painted detail on each frame to try and bring it to life. I had a minute to do some touch ups to this piece before I left. It's just a practice piece for an old project. Maybe it'll get resurrected.

Damballah Island Diaries Continues 2/2

Staying Busy

I've been unhappy with my brushes in Photoshop for a while now so I spent yesterday playing around with sensitivities and my stylus to get things where I'm happy. I wanted to do a quick and raunchy pinup totally unrelated to any patron posts I figured old fans would like and to give me something to test out the new brush settings. Expect to see that tonight.

Monster Madness Poll Results and Power Girl's Comic

I should have made note of the poll results when I was ready to start working on the comic pages. The results for the characters has changed a bit. Farah is already done and she's been in first place since the start. Her scenario was clearly defined by the voting. Masquerade and Beatrix are tied second and third. Mid-Week Update

This past weekend and the start of this week were spent moving and setting up a new work space. For reasons I'm not going to mention I was forced to move. I've been busy getting my shit together. My situation at the moment is temporary but very stable. I'm ready to get back to work.

I've got 3 weeks to try and get the Monster Madness pages done AND get Power Girl's bimbo comic underway. I'm not making promises that I'll get everything done. I've been making that mistake too often.

Power Girl Poll Tampering

There are 189 votes cast for the character selection poll and I only have 182 people eligible to vote. 5$ Patrons get the chance to vote in polls. In the last few hours someone decided that Cyborg should win by a landslide and poured about 60-70 votes on him. In their exuberance to get Cyborg pushed through they neglected to falsify the other poll results which oddly enough only have 113 votes. 

Nice try.

I'm eliminating Cyborg from the race for voter fraud.

Powergirl Polls

Wow, you all have some great suggestions but I have to distill that greatness down into a couple polls to make use of the best ideas. Powergirl is certainly in for a good time no matter what gets chosen when the polls close! I'll hold off on tallying the numbers until next Friday.
