This comic came out of the idea of having a 'report card' centric episode for each of the CMC characters.  It was going to showcase different 'parenting' styles and how poor grades are handled differently.  We instead modified the idea to focus just on the Apple family for now.  But I do intend to someday have one for Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle.  We'd have to figure out how to handle their parents situations.

Surely you have leftovers you love!  This particular book-horse loves it when Spike brings back leftover onion rings from his "Guy's Night" at the bar!

The Tax Pirate owns a little outfit in town it appears.  I guess his 'tax pirate' nickname isn't so off-the-mark.  Rarity comes by to get her 'taxes' done and visits the only stallion she's known to have some sort of connection too.  Of course Red happily obliges.  Tons of little jokes and easter eggs in this one for the eagle eyed fan.

New Driver Episode Discussion

I find it these three excel when things are hectic and crazy!  Everypony is doing their own thing and there is so much to visually look around at!  Adorkable is giving these two a drive in her new fleet van!  Of course Moondancer and Starlight make it as nerve-wracking as possible!  

How are you as a driver?  Prefer it quiet or with lots of noisy passengers?

Father's Day Episode Coming...

Sunday was Father's Day and I want to say we do indeed have a comic honoring Dad's around the globe over.  It comes out Tuesday.  This is probably one of those instances where we could have released it the day of the holiday, but I think it will be worth the wait.  It's going to hit you in the gut.  So get your pillow straps or chainmail armour ready for a punch in the heart!  This is going to get everyone.

Twilight Take The Wheel Episode Discussion

Out of nowhere, this pops up again!  Twilight finally is FORCED to get a vehicle for work!  This is building up for a few jokes and when they will actually need a vehicle later on in the series.  We have to plan things out far in advance. 

The title is a parody of the hit song, "Jesus Take The Wheel," by Carrie Underwood.

I wonder if Spike will eventually get an air conditioner for their house?  He'd love that.

Patreon Exclusive Comic!! Twi-Time!

Hi everyone!  I made a Patreon Exclusive comic for you all!  I'll admit, it's simple, but it's kinda silly.  It actually has multiple silly endings.  I can simply change the last panel and it can have various silly outcomes.

I will release this eventually as part of the series, but stay tuned, it might have a different ending.  It would sure be nice to have an empty schedule and have some time to do nothing.

Say Hello Episode Discussion

We did a study of our comics recently and determined from which perspective the episode was being shown through.  We realized most were from Twilight or Spike.  A lot were from no real perspective, but simply watching down with no vested interest in either.  So this time we took the approach of having it from two perspectives; Soarin' and Zephyr Breeze.  If this episode were from Spike of Vinyl's perspective, we would have followed them up to Zephyr and Soarin'.

Busy Week Episode Discussion

Making A Change

We're always trying to improve the colors or things.  As you've seen in the past we've changed the colors of Soarin', Applejack, Applebloom, and many others.  Well today we are fixing the eye-soar to many that is Applebloom's text color.

Missed Detail Episode Discussion

Entering Deeper Episode Discussion

We're gonna finish this story arc sooner then later, but Vinyl now gets the full grasp (Sorta) of what she is getting into.  Colin and Murphy are going to use her to propel their adult film careers.  In the process they will be helping her too, but is this something Vinyl is comfortable with?  Only time will tell.
