It was in a Starbucks the other week that I thought about arcs, asses, and how much I love both. Pinup late votes from last month have been added in, roster cycled, and added in the next few waitlist characters! I do still need to do a small bust for Rita. I also made sure to add Indi+Digo and Dulcinea back to the waitlist, as I previously had erroneously removed them. But the waitlist is closed now.
I feel bad for a few of these characters, some have been up for 3 years (Spyro). When I rework the pinup vote system hopefully we won't run into that issue. Here's the vote rules as it stands...

Here's the finished primary pinup this month for the Interpol vixen. This one was a heck of a lot of fun to make for a number of reasons. I hope you all enjoy the result!

I did end up going with pose A actually. Beforehand, I thought B would win out, both with you all as well as my personal pref. But the more I thought about the finished image, and other stuff, I grew to like this side view, and with some fixes to the drawing, just finished inking and am moving right on to colours. Hair was a ton of fun to do. HD in the end of month ZIP!

Done as a small warm-up, Rei did this doodle she was about to delete for good, and I thought it was great, so I nabbed it, cleaned it up some, and then she did some colours, all for a quick mid-afternoon collab. I left her bottomless cause... bottomless is where it's at. Just one of the few smaller pieces I wanted to post and share to fill the gaps between the bigger projects.

The ideas for her pinup; I've drawn the lovely lady a few times in more classic pinup poses. I wanted to do something a little more candid. It was suggested a chase through the streets/city after Sly, and after finding a few fun poses that I worked with, I kind of like both of these.

Remember a few days back, I talked about having a lot of halfway finished sketches that I didn't feel were finished enough to post? Well I'm using small bursts in between the larger projects as an opportunity to challenge myself into finishing some of them. Using some for gifts, some possibly as $25-tier YCH type things(?), or just some personal challenges like "draw this character that no one ever draws" or "draw a species you haven't ever done before/rarely".

Tala is off! Where? Why? I don't know. Neither does Bailey. I hope the big, broad landscape composition of the bottom frames comes off okay. It should read as "a decent amount of time passing". Remember, still 'new' at comics here. I tried to do some research a bit ago about panel layouts and size/spacing.
This is a point of shift for the comic at least for a decent number of pages, and the overall focus. Fingers crossed that it's fun for everyone else as it is for me/what I have written...

Been a while since I've gotten to share a new creation! Kano is a new OC I made with my gf's help as a part of a personal, original project she wanted to do. It's a stand-alone story, hosting her OC Amari (drawn a few times recently) and this tall boy, Kano, as the main story characters. She's been having fun developing new ideas and characters for it, and it's been relaxing for me as well, to have an OC that isn't tied at all to my sci-fi world, Predators, or anything else.

Carmelita stayed in the lead enough to win! Always nice to have a character up that I know I love and love-to-draw. I'll leave the option to you guys if I should include the possibility of using one of the previous doodles of her as the pinup, or make some new poses, or both/compare side-by-side.

The other two pieces done for FursonaCon. Again, took about 3-4 hours each. Testing out quicker methods of inking and colouring for bonus/extra pieces I can get done on the side. The gryphon girl is an eagle, and based off the Greek deity Ouranos, for a panel room, and the mouse girl is based off the Roman deity Minerva, for the tabletop gaming room.
