A small thank-you sketch for Quake-1 on FA. Dragonair anthro girl was pretty fun; I'd like to do sommore Pokemon stuff on and off. It isn't high-res or anything, but I like it.

Twix, Page 1

Comic still doesn't have a title, not quite the final version for the page, might need to tweak some dialogue, but wanted to share it so far. Zoqi belongs to the artist Wyntersun, and he's just gonna be an intro/outro helper for Twix and Lia, but if people want to see more of him, I might do an end page of sketches with him and the others. Enjoy the start, I hope!

So the Google form idea actually went pretty well; I'll have to message a few people to let them know to re-submit their idea before next stream since things like OCs and stuff were suggested, but overall it saved a ton of time and, while a little less exciting than the wheel, maybe we can still use it in advance. Comic page 2

Continuing the trend- Don't have a title yet, or dialogue, but had the thumbnails from working briefly on my trip, so worked on refining them today for the other pages, just need to wrap up page 3's and then I'll go in and start working on the actual page 1 tomorrow I think!

Comic page 1 Sketch

Still at my relatives' place today. Laid grandad to rest. Haven't had much time obviously, to work on art, but at the moment my legs are killing me and everyone is standing around talking, drinking, so... took this chance to hop on and upload the first page of the new Twix and Lia comic, which I finished at the airport yesterday.

This is the Ask ARA Thread for August!

I'm going to try something a little easier for Ask ARA this month in that I'm going to make a post (this one!) each month where Patrons can ask directly without using Tumblr. $25 patrons will have their question for ARA (or the others) answered guaranteed, as long as it's appropriate and answerable, but everyone can post an ask here as an alternate to Tumblr.

Zoqi

I needed a secondary character as a friend of Twix's in the comic. He'll appear in just a few of the pages, mostly at the start. No porn on his part, but hey, was fun to draw anyway. Thanks to Wyntersun for letting me use him! Working on thumbnail/layout for the first few pages atm, even though it's going a bit slow. Struggling to get back into the swing of art but I'll get there.

Not much news other than what was said in the post yesterday; I'm going to do 3 request streams this month to make up for the one missed in July. Sorry to do this when I said the other stream would be today, I'm going to have to move the stream into August (so there'll be three for August). I was awoken by a call from my mother today telling me that her father passed away. Since July is another 2-pinup month, and since I'm still working on starting up the other comic and deciding things, in the meantime I went ahead with another pinup. Using a similar shading style to M'Ress, I wanted to do another male pinup, since they so fall behind, and I love drawing males, exotic creatures and such, Haku fit that build.

Well I figured this had to happen sooner or later, but the request streams are going to change from now on. So here she is! My take on M'Ress from Star Trek the animated series. Was actually kind of fun taking a... well, not-great-looking character and giving her a revamp. Let's face it, the show wasn't very high quality artwork, but still had its charms. I never watched it growing up, but I did look up a couple segments before drawing her. I looked up a few clips of M'Ress from the show, and while the art is awful, as was per their budget and time period, I did like her voice quite a bit, and she had this calm, serene personality but with a twinge of flirting or something.
