Fairly Easy Question...

Now for a demonstration on how to aggravate the grammar nazi.

Make sure you do your best at all times.  Anything worth doing is worth doing right.  Anything done right takes a lot of effort.  As time passes, what was once your maximum effort will seem easier. That is when you take the next step in progressing your skills.

Moral of the Story - Forever Filly

Greetings,

"Forever Filly" had a very interesting lesson that I would like to discuss with you all today.  Although hopefully you can forgive me that I only have half of a perspective.  Regardless, hopefully the solutions I posed are any good.  As always, I would still love to hear your thoughts.

This episode made me think a lot about how I could relate to Sweetie Belle and whether or not the depiction of Rarity's motivations was accurate to people I ...

A Buck to the Face - Forever Filly

I don't see my family very often.  Every time I come back, there's some major change that nobody bothered to make me aware of.  It's kind of annoying.  But we learn to adapt.  Unless you're Rarity, that is.

This episode was way too relatable to me.  But I tend to have this issue more with my parents than with my siblings.  However, just as the family changes a lot in the times between when we see each other, I've changed a lot each time myself.  It...

Exploring

Someone once said that a good traveller has no set destination and is never intent on arriving.

I say that the rolling stone gathers no moss, despite how much wishing it could stop.

I’ve been a traveller most of my life.  It’s odd for me since when I was younger, I was quite the homebody.  But in my college years, I started traveling for various reasons.  It can be fun sometimes.  But I’ve always had something to do at the destination and thus wanted to get ther...

I Believe In A Thing Called Love cover (Hearts and Hooves Day Special)

Here's a fun song I've wanted to try and cover for a while to test my vocal range.  It took a few tries to get it this good.  PonyboyCurtis, Sasha Lace and I all had a lot of fun making it though.  So I hope you all enjoy it and hopefully there will be more projects like this soon.

Haitus Intensifies (Brawny's Best Hits)

Fun fact:

After scrubbing through most of A Buck to the Face and other collaborations, I only used about a quarter of the slapstick.

I've got more stuff coming down the pipe.  One of which is A Buck to the Face and a Moral of the Story.  The art assets needed to do so are coming along slowly but surely and looking great in the meanwhile.  There's also more music projects and a few collaborations that I've been editing which will not be on my channel.  I hop...

New Life (part 4)

Greetings,

This just seems to be how my luck goes.  I get so close to the finish line I can taste it only to have the rug pulled out from under me.  It's a pattern that's repeated most of my life.

It's been a ride.  And we've succeeded for the most part.  Although we're not done quite yet, the rest is up to me.  I'm continuing the job hunt to replace the job that I lost, which I expect to be a difficult endeavor.  The personal trainer job runs me for about t...

King Sombra Ruins Bronycon

King Sombra returned from the dead on August 12th, 2017 and resumed his campaign to take over Equestria.  It didn't go very well.  This was a video I've been wanting to do for years but it wasn't until Bronycon 2017 that I was able to do it.  Would you like to see more of these?  Maybe I'll keep doing them if I can keep going to conventions.  Big thanks to Sweetie Bloom and Concert Cruizer for helping with the filming.

New Life - part 3

Thank you so very much for the help you've given me so far.  With the help I've gotten, the situation has gone from overwhelming to manageable.  If we can finish the campaign, it will go from manageable to easy.  From here on out, the remainder will be put towards things that involve setting up a place to live for myself so I can stop couch surfing.  Things like security deposits for rent, appliances, furniture.  Thankfully, I'm resourceful and can find a lot of stuff fo...

Expanding Content

Greetings everyone,

In an effort that I have been working on behind the scenes for well over a year now, my friends and I are ready to start with a Tumblr comic strip.  This will be done with the assistance of Swift Yuki, Caps Lock and Red Palette.

In order to pay them for their effort, I'll be posting the strips to Patreon as well as well as chipping in myself.

If there are any objections to this, please let me know in a message or e-mail.  I won't post anything to Patre...

Moral of the Story - Fluttershy Leans In

Greetings,

Today, let's talk about just how far Fluttershy has come as a character through the lens of "Fluttershy Leans In."  But remembering that all past moments are what led to this one, we should also recap the other lessons that Fluttershy has learned.

I don't feel that Fluttershy learned much of anything in this episode.  To a lot of people (myself included) that made it a boring watch.  I also feel there is a lot that could have been done with...

Cookie the rabbit often keeps Brawny company while he's writing and imitates his movements while exercising.  Rumor has it that he guards the house while Brawny is away on business.

Although rarely seen, he has been there for a long time.

Honestly, I found this episode a tad boring and lacked focus.  Also Fluttershy's assertiveness by yelling grated on me by the third time it happened.  I also feel like the concept of an animal shelter wasn't thought all the way...

Greetings,

I wanted to inform you that due to my work schedule and the unexpected recent influx of new patrons at the $25 tier, I was unable to record the verbal shoutout for the beginning of A Buck to the Face videos for "Fluttershy Leans In."

I will remedy this as soon as possible and the shoutouts will be added with the next episode of A Buck to the Face.  In the meantime, I hope an opening credits slide will be sufficient.

Moral of the Story - Rock Solid Friendship

Greetings,  In today's edition, let's talk about how to make friends as well as how to help others make friends.  I'd also like to talk about the methods that we can employ to check ourselves while we do so to make sure that we're not overwhelming those that we care about and turning them off the idea of bringing them into our interests altogether.

This is a lesson I've had to learn the hard way myself.  It's a very common pitfall I see many others fall into as well. &nbs...

A Buck to the Face - Rock Solid Friendship

Sometimes I forget that it's possible to overdose on friendship.  Friendship is a heck of a drug.  I finally got my revenge on cAPS lOCK for smacking my crest with a shinai.  Maybe I should ask him to come on my next photoshoot.

I was so very tempted to call this a rehash of "A Friend In Deed."  But it turned out to add onto it in the end.  I'm looking forward to talking about this in the Moral of the Story segment.

A Buck to the Face - A Flurry of Emotions

This is why I can't get anything done around here.  I've got too much on my plate as it is to be randomly babysitting other people's poorly behaved toddlers.

Twilight seemed to forget who she was in this episode and it was really quite frustrating to watch.  As if the presence of Flurry Heart wasn't bad enough on it's own.  What happened to all that passive-aggressive trash-talk you on Pinkie Pie back in season 2, Twilight?

Goodness gracious that was frustrating...

Moral of the Story - All Bottled Up

Greetings,

Today let's talk about how concealing or bottling your anger (or any emotions for that matter) can have severe implications on your health as it relates to "All Bottled Up."  Additionally, to the communication aspects of this lesson, we can also take notes on how to avoid being someone that causes anger in others - just by being aware of our own actions and sympathetic to others.

We've had a lot of others shows give us a more typical demonstration of...

Trixie vexes me. Quite a bit as a matter of fact. That's why I try not to hang out with people like her too much anymore. It's not good for the heart.

Fun fact:
The opening gag was based on a true story.

I've been in Starlight Glimmer's shoes a lot the last few years with other people I've known. This episode hit a little too close to home for me. Especially when Trixie said he hadn't learned a lesson. I've lost track of how many times I've heard that excuse. I lose a little b...

Moral of the Story - Celestial Advice

Greetings,

Celestial Advice is either very right or very wrong in it's delivery.  Watching the episode the first couple times frustrated me with the way it portrayed the educational phases as well as the concept of graduation.

But today, I'd like to discuss the importance of understanding when it's the right time to move on between both student and teacher.  I'd also like to examine the different types of student-teacher relationships and how these concepts are more of a...

I've been down and out for too long and everything else I've tried clearly hasn't worked.  So let today be the start of when I try something different.  Only time will tell if it will work or backfire horribly.  Even though history has already set the precedence.

What was shocking to me about this episode was all the build-up of taking the next step with Starlight's graduation only to not do anything with it.  It was an interesting fake-out and I'm left curious a...
