This is a pre-view link. It should be live about half an hour after I post this. The video will become public tomorrow. I still have to do titles, descriptions, and ... well everything else. Let me know what you think.

Greg goes down a few rabbit holes here with the flavors he's working on, and he finds humor in Florida's "Human-Bear Conflict Response Policies and Guidelines" manual. He also reads letters.
The photo for this weeks podcast is by Brian Crum. I wonder if he'll ever find out that I borrowed it. These are not eating mushrooms, but they are so elegant and lovely I thought I'd share.
Brian Crum is also the drummer for the

Greg this weeks deconstructs on of his favorite songs "I Want you to be my baby" by John Hendricks. He thought it was written by Louis Primia, but it was just sung by him, and apparently a lot of others. Lots of updates, talks about upcoming candy for Thanksgiving and Halloween, and of course we read your letters.

Today we go further into what we are doing about the taste trip around the world. Since we can't travel in person, perhaps we can do it with candy flavors. We hope to do a series of international flavors done with the flags of the countries where the flavors are know from.
The Jukebox I'm making is coming along, I'm doing an update here.
Jake is doing his first solo project. Kiwi
And of course we read your letters and give other updates.

This is a sneak peek at part of the next video I'm editing, it's hard. So many hours of footage to go through to build the story.
So I am working on this video, I have been for quite a while, and I need some feedback.
1. Is it interesting. Are their parts that make you lose interest?
2. Can you understand the interviews. I'm not sure I want to ad in video subtitles, but I may need to.

He talks about covid-19 changes for his store (again, there is no end to these it seems), he talks about art and of course letters.

I wanted my staff to be fashionable, so I thought I'd make some custom masks, and get some custom fabric printed. Yo can probably tell the design I based it off, but it has ice cream cones in the starts, chess board in the diamonds, and banana image candy in the circles.
If I were to sell these, they would be $29.99, which I think is too high, but getting fabric printed in low quantities is not cheap. Any thoughts of either the design, or of the idea of selling them.

I needed to show off a new machine I got. Well new about two years ago. I finally found good enough machinists to get it working again. It's a cutter, to do what I do with the anvil. My wrists have been hurting more and more the longer I do this, and I wished I had this machine. I only knew of two of these. One was in Ireland, the other in Austria. I found a third in England, but it was clearly a work in progress. I finally found someone with the talent to help me get it working, and it's her...

Today I do something different, I do an interview. Today I talk to Jane my daughter who literally grew up at Lofty Pursuits. I've never really talked to her about her perceptions about the business before. Its there every day, and it just is not something we've done. This is a bit longer than our normal podcasts.

I thought you'd like to know first.
Horehound promotes salivation, and Marshmallow Root soothes your throat as it sticks to the sort bits. This cough drop recipe has been made for over a hundred years. Keep in mind, this is marshmallow root, not marshmallow flavor, so it's not going to effect the flavor much. Horehound is a oil from an European flower that is in the taste family of licorice, but a bit more floral. Yummy and soothing. Made on a set of rollers from a candy store that open...

Yup, like the last podcast, late and shorter. Sorry about that. It's been a weird week folks and it's been a week of being reactive not proactive. With things changing so fast that's the only option. Thanks for supporting what we do. I'll try to get closer to schedule next week.
