Friday Update 08/02/2019 - Public Release

07/26/2019 Friday Update

This week I finished Mangle's implementation for arcade mode, started Mangle's story night, and added some audio cues. I also think I fixed a long standing issue with audio clips sometimes having a very compressed/staticy sound to them.

Friday Update 07/19/2019

This week I finished Mangle's game over animation as well tried to address a couple bugs.

Some users reported that Mangle was not active through the night, I wasn't able to reproduce the issue but I did notice there were some issues with AI navigation that would cause Fredrika to sometimes get stuck on the stairs. Friday Update 07/12/2019

This week I mostly worked on animations for Mangle.

Tipping Mangle $5 or $20 now has a new animation, I'd like to add one more small animation for $20 specifically. This animation will be specifically for $5 after that animation is added.

Friday Update 06/28/2019

This week I fixed one last localization issue in the last public build and started implementing Mangle's AI into the game. 

Mangle's game play will revolve around requesting "tips" periodically throughout the night in denominations of $1, $5, or $20. $1 tips will be the cheapest way to keep her busy throughout the night while $20 tips will reduce the number of times she needs to be tipped, but will be more expensive. Currently her walking and "attacking" animations are not fin...

Friday Update 06/21/2019 - Public Update

This week I attempted to fix some lingering bugs related to positioning and saving items on the player's desk. Several players complained that they were still experiencing issues such as furniture being stacked on top of each other in the middle of the desk, furniture facing the wrong way, or furniture disappearing.

Friday Update 05/31/2019

This week I started work on Mangle's shop that will be available at the end of each night. You'll notice that all of the items except for the alarm clock and the monitor have been removed from the player's desk. These items will now need to be purchased from Mangle after working a night. Mangle's stock will eventually need to be unlocked through achievements but that's further down the line (as in version 0.11 or later), right now her store will be fully stocked from the beginning.

This week I added 5 color coded dildo's that will "disable" each of the animatronics already in the game for the rest of the night. These items will eventually be single-use and intended to help players get whichever game over animation they're looking for, or to reduce the difficulty of the game further than what the pictures currently do. This week I finished adding the posters that will eventually be added to Mangle's shop. The posters have the effect of increasing the difficulty level of their pictured characters by one (easy to normal, normal to hard, hard to "nightmare"). Friday Update 05/03/2019 - New Beta Build

This week's beta build was mostly hammering out the final bugs that were left behind from the recovery process.

 I also added new animations to Mangle's Game Over scene.

The right click menu in the Desk Setup (and in the toy box) will now "grow" away from the edge of the screen, hopefully reducing instances of buttons appearing off-screen.

Last Week's Beta Build Now available

I had to resort to rebuilding the last beta build from a back up but I was able to recover everything pre-corruption. I'll try and be more careful around updating the Unity Editor next time, most of the issues arose from old code and the way that old animations and models were imported. I also threw some new stuff in the build such as the ability to move every item on your desk around to a configuration that you like best.

Friday Update 04/19/19

This week I added the first stage of Mangle's game over animation. The results for the poll are in and the winner was vaginal/amazon so that will be the position Mangle. It's definitely going to be the most logistically challenging position I've animated so it will be a good litmus test for the new rig.

New Poll Up - Determine Mangle's Position

There's a new poll up on Smutcube.com to determine what position mangle will be performing for her game over. This one will function slightly different to other polls in that it's essentially two polls in one: First you can cast a vote between Vaginal or Anal, then you can cast a vote for which position you would like. I'm testing this method out instead of having two polls, hopefully it's intuitive enough for most people.

Friday Update 04/05/2019 Update, New Beta Build/Poll

This week I built a new rig for Mangle and started animating her. The new rig uses a lot of constraints to automatically do some of the animation work for me, so theoretically I should be able to animate faster. Whether or not that proves to be the case or I just end up fixing errors done by the automated process remains to be seen. Why I closed the SmutCube GameJolt account

This is going to be a long rambling post, and it's largely irrelevant for most patrons, but if you used to get my games at GameJolt you might want to know why you won't be able to anymore.

Friday Update 03/08/2019 - Final(ish) Build

I finished Version 0.8 this week and also added a new reskinned Bonnie to the toy box: Golden Bonnie. I'm still looking out for bugs before the official public release which should happen very soon (likely tomorrow). I want to thank everyone who supported the development of 0.08, without you this game would still be on 0.02. As per my usual custom I'll be hold a handful of polls over the next couple of weeks and then moving on to Version 0.09.

Saturday Update 03/02/2019 - New Beta Build

This week I worked on finishing up the Bonne and Fredrika scene. I finished the "climax" animation and started adding sounds to the animation. I just need to add a post climax scene, finish adding sounds, and then attach the animations to the toy box. Then I'll be ready for a public release. Sorry for the later than usual update, I usually try and have them out a few hours earlier than this. The biggest set back was actually trying to break apart that asset I had recently added for the new map. However, after I had dismantled the entire file and separated it into over a hundred new files I found that it didn't affect file size what so ever, and the main culprit was the very high resolution textures included. Friday Update 02/15/19 - New Beta Build

This week I finished work on the 3rd animation stage for the Fredrika/Bonnie threesome and finished the transition animation for the 5th stage. I'll try to add more stages than the usual one on one animations have since the threesome animations will be inherently more difficult to get.
