The return of the International Print Club Tier

Hello everyone, little update- I have reinstated the International Print Club Tier at $30USD.

The $4 increase from the previous pricing has allowed me to cover the shipping better and make sure that every international package is insured going forward. Hopefully this will help cover and limit issues! I do encourage any non-US members to keep a copy of your monthly payment as a receipt in case customs holds your parcel, as I am very limited in what I can do from my end if a customs issue does crop up. I do declare these packages properly with all the codes needed, and the majority of my international shipments reach their destinations without issue.

I know that it was sorely missed by several so I hope that if the increase is doable for you, you will be able to rejoin for our glorious Gale month. I'm really excited for the packaging this time around!!

Working on the postcard print for this month, hoping to have it revealed to you guys shortly!! Plenty of time for anyone to hop in US or non-US if you're in need of some Gale love. :P

Gale- "Familiar" (Print of the Month)

Hello everyone!!! I hope you're enjoying Galetember.

I wanted to challenge myself to paint Gale in warmer tones for this piece, and I thought that Tara would make a great companion for the purpose with her lovely calico/tortoiseshell thing she has going on. I made her a little more maine coon-esque here.

I really can not get enough of painting Gale's hair btw, I just love it. Hoping next week I'll have the postcard piece done, I hope you all like what I'm cooking up lol

Gale fans please let me know if any of you find sterling silver/titanium Gale reproduction earrings- I am so freaking desperate.. If I had the time to take up a new skill I'd be learning how to make myself a pair- I've wanted them since I first laid eyes on his. ;A;

Gale- Eclipse

AKA this month is going to be a love letter to Gale Dekarios because I think he's a little underappreciated and I think he's marvelous. My library of Gale paintings is pitiful and we're beefing it up this month.

PRINT CLUB NEWS:

I've decided that I will be making the print club fanart only moving forward. I really appreciate the feedback, and even though I'm a weenie I also totally get it that my original art pieces are not particularly popular. I want to make sure folks are happy and you all know I love painting fanart. Also, I feel incredibly ~blessed~ to be able to make art for a living in the first place so I want to keep doing that lol.

The print club is not always going to be BG3, but I will be announcing the fanart theme each month early on so people can bounce if it's not their thing. This month is Gale themed, and October will be Dark Urge/Gortash themed for Halloween month. November will probably be Veilguard themed though I'm not sure which direction I'll be taking that until after I've played a bit! ♥♥

Lucanis Dellamorte

going with the running rogue theme this month (honestly a good 75% of my RPG lovin goes to rogues lmao) with the lovely Lucanis from Dragon Age Veilguard. I can't wait to get to meet him when the game releases!! I'm not getting myself overhyped yet but Lucanis has such lovely bone structure, I love his design and his voiiiiice. Honestly the companions overall are incredibly well designed. I have my gripes with the new Morrigan look, but gosh the outfits for each companion are so luxurious.

Sidenote, I will be receiving my BG3 sample blankets by Friday!! I'm so excited. I'll make a post when I am ready to start taking preorders.

The Rose of Menzoberranzan (OC)

Little portrait of my Drow assassin, Rhiain. I created her to play on the Arelith server on Neverwinter Nights but didn't really get enough time to put into her. :(

Neutral evil. Was a trainee to become a priestess of Lolth, but her final test was to kill the male she'd been meeting with in secret that she'd fallen in love with. Lolth felt her devotion waver, and she was struck many times by her own venomous whip and left to die on the outskirts of Menzoberranzan. The god Vhaeraun took a liking to her and spared her life, and with that gift, she ran. She now masquerades as a Lolth worshiper in Drow society, committing assassinations and sowing discord in polite society. (as polite as Drow society gets...)

I've painted her a few times before long ago, she usually wears full assassin getup but I wanted to paint her in a bit more of a vulnerable look.

In my own Forgotten Realms canon, she is the half sister of my 'Tav', Iiyola. (pictured below) They had some good times when they were younger, but Iiyola's too much of a bleeding heart for that relationship to be functional.

Tackling architecture is scary but I still don't think it's as scary as painting plants. Terrifying.

This is the monthly exclusive print for August! The Astarion postcard will be full bleed (no borders) but this was my test print. Photo is a little too saturated, apologies- I am not some kind of social media maven unfortunately.

meet Rayne, our collective poll creature (new boyfriend?)

helllooo lovelies, I come to you with our Build-A-Character Poll character, who will henceforth be known as Rayne. I had a pretty strong vision for him from the start, though I could NOT decide whether to have him red-skinned with white tattoos, or white-skinned with red tattoos for a while. I was really worried that the other color scheme was going to be too busy for him, though I suppose it could be a cool transformation? I might have weenied out on the cooler color scheme, but I just really feel like red tieflings are pretty common.

Rayne's a dastardly fellow, steals until he can't get away with it anymore and moves on to a new city. Leaves broken hearts behind and swears it doesn't get to him. Does a lot of pining and is the type to buy a girl flowers but be too cool to give them to her. (aka Chicken Out) The kind of dude that would convince you to break into a building with him just to show you a cool view he thought you'd like. Self destructive in the way only a chaotic neutral character can be. to use a hip youngster phrase, he's kind of a fuccboi but without being a poser. bad influence.

Would you put him in your party?

The piece I have planned for the monthly print is a bit more artsy than this, but I really wanted to make sure I took the time to breath some life into him before I paint him again, and it helps a lot to have a reference to work off of. I tend to flounder horribly if I don't have something concrete to look at character-wise.

I'm thinking something kind of dramatic, where we can see more of his body tattoos.

This was the little ref board I built for him, as well as an early sketch that I decided to scrap because I thought it was a little too generic.

These are the first two fullbody commissions in the new option I'm offering that I've done. Both for lovely clients. ♥♥

I have another batch in the oven and then I hope to be taking some more near the end of next month so be ready!! I'll announce sooner when I get there.

-The Red Riding Hood pieces are underway for this month's print club, and I'm really looking forward to it. Something a bit sexy for the postcard and something a bit badass for the main print.

I usually keep one player character for RPGs indefinitely- it's quite rare for me to create more than one, maaaaybe two. I'd rather play the same character over and over again like a crazy person. :P

Red Riding Hood concept art

Hey there!!!

I hope everyone is doing well!!

Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf won for the theme of this month, and I've been working on this concept art for Red. I wanted to go with a sort of cottagey look for her, but also with a bit of a gothic tinge as well because, well, you know. That's just how I like things haha.

I have some sketches in the works for two pieces of her with the wolf and the woodsman, as well as some little notes and such I've put together for it.

Something a bit darker and more empowering haha.

I'm curious if little concept pieces like this would interest anyone as a commission type?

No longer offering International Print Club Tier

Hey everyone, I'm just putting this notice up to let you no that I am no longer offering my international print club tier. I wanted to offer it in the first place at the lowest possible cost because I wanted it to be available for everyone. I really didn't want anyone left out.

Unfortunately, it actually costs me per person on the international tier as the cost of shipping is so high plus my time and materials.

I've had so many problems with customs issues, customers giving me a lot of trouble (not many but a few), errors in addresses, and some general unkindness/impatience with me that I have decided to no longer offer an international option.

It's just that if it costs me money to send these out in the first place, and then I am having an inordinate amount of issues with them, it's just really draining to me and no longer worth it, and I'm sorry. :/

The print club will be US-ONLY moving forward. 

If you are a member of the international tier and have already paid for July, you WILL be receiving your July package as usual, and the cancellation will apply to August for you. 

I will have the exclusive print club prints available in my print shop to everyone (as I ship internationally through my shop) after the exclusivity period is over, as well as leftovers from each month if I have any.

Lothariel (oc portrait)

okay, this was very self-indulgent.

This is my OC, Lothariel. She's my go-to CRPG player character for god knows how long. I originally created her for my first Neverwinter Nights playthrough years and years ago. She's a faerie dragon obsessed Arcane Archer. I've played her on an RP server before, she's been my BG1&2 Bhaalspawn, and she's also romanced Gale in BG3 lol.

I wanted to give her a proper portrait for when I play her, and I will be using this for my first proper playthrough of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. (Azata mythic path, obviously lol)

She has an entire sleeve of faerie dragon tattoos that I think I would like to tackle at some point if I'm feeling brave and/or crazy...

I usually play very lawful aligned characters (good, neutral, and evil) pretty exclusively in both TTRPGs and CRPGs, but Lothariel has always been my chaotic neutral dragon loving weirdo. She has absolutely no fear of dragons regardless of how much trouble that gets her into.

I'll share some old art of her below, I find it really fun to look through how I've drawn my characters throughout the years. I honestly have never been one to do a lot of OC art but I do think she might be my most frequently drawn.

Below, an old doodle of Lothariel and her best friend ever, the kobold Deekin.

I hadn't painted her in a long long time; years I think, and the last portrait I made for her is this one which I think is still chilling in my last Hordes of the Underdark save. As you can see she really needed an update haha.

And below some Lothariel with her first love, Valen from Hordes of the Underdark. In my canon for her she outlived him and ended up falling in love with Gale, as she lives in Waterdeep and I think they'd get along.

Rogue Trader: Sacred Stigmata (Pasqal fanart)

Romances aside, Pasqal is my favorite companion in Rogue Trader. I have been working on this piece for a while here and there and finally had the time to finish it this evening!!

This was less of a challenge than I thought it would be, which was really surprising since it involves a LOT of things I'm not particularly versed in painting.

I wanted to work harder on getting the background out of focus and guiding the eye a bit better to the character, without relying on the blur function and instead just trying to loosen up my brushstrokes. I have done this a bit previously but never so deliberately.

I don't really have much to say this time, though I'm really sad that this game doesn't have the popularity it deserves. It's really wonderful chatting with people who've played it. I have to try and remind myself that I have to paint what my heart wants to even if it isn't the hottest thing. I'm not really the type of person to follow trends much at all- very much a follower of "the heart wants what the heart wants" lol. It's only a matter of time before I start painting VtM: Bloodlines art again...

Halsin- Kindred (June print club postcard)

hellooo, here with the painting that will accompany this month's print club as the bonus postcard!

I'm really proud of how this one turned out- I had a strong visualization for it in my head and I'm just so happy when a painting turns out just as I saw it in my brain haha.

I like to think of Halsin's relationship with his bear side to be a kinship- it seems like he talks about his bear self as if it's a separate entity almost, but with him. Shapeshifting is such a powerful motif in human mythology since the dawn of mankind- for some reason we just have been obsessed with the concept since we were scrawling images in caves. Wildshaping in the Forgotten Realms is such a cool concept and I love the spiritual aspect of the Druids. I could ramble on and on lol.

I'm so excited for the packaging for this month's print club!! I'll do another video of packing it up this time, I hope my plans work out for this. It's a bit of a minor arts and crafts project every month figuring out what I'll do. Makes it a lot easier if I keep to a theme!

Halsin- Tradition (Print Club Exclusive for June)

Hello everyone!!!!

I originally wasn't planning on having the print for this month's print club be a Halsin piece, but I just ended up falling head over heels for this one as I was working on it haha.

As I mentioned briefly in my post about my hot spring Halsin piece, I absolutely LOVE cave paintings. Cueva de las Manos in Argentina (https://whc.unesco.org/en/list/936/) is one of my absolute favorite sites due to the handprints. One of my favorite details is that interspersed with the human handprints there area few Rhea bird footprint outlines as well.

Halsin's connection with his primal nature, as the environment is just my favorite thing about him. So for some reason I love pairing him with rock carvings and cave paintings.

I've been having a lot of fun loosening up a bit with my painting style lately. I just feel like, with the advent of AI garbage literally everywhere, I'm enjoying my less polished pieces more than ever.

I'm thinking perhaps a closeup of Halsin's hand overlaid with a bear paw for the postcard, but we will see.
