After following John James Rikard Macleod, Frederick Banting, Charles Best, and James Collip in the discovery of insulin were you shocked to find out there was tons of infighting? We can't imagine how hard it was to carry this study forward with the amount of bickering between the researchers. To say the least everyone involved must have been very passionate about finding a cure to this debilitating issue to have made this a success.
