Fortunately my Community is still small enough to be able to keep up with everything and having a true relation with most of you.

Useless garments.

I'm always pretty clear with the models beforehand, that we're only going to shoot nude photos, and that they are not required to take fancy lingerie with them, but they never appear to listen.
Even Quinn had her whole wardrobe ready for me to choose from, and in this photo she appears to be annoyed by the fact I was not interested in using any of this stuff.
Not my fault if I prefer these models in their natural state, and i love her expression anyway.

The telephone is one of the few props inside a hotel room I find inspiring.
Probably because it is a vestige of a past era, but also because it is a door to another place, with strangers we can't see, and they have no idea my model is n4ked.

Upgrading vs Sidegrading.

Most people tend to switch camera system, trying to "upgrade", in the illusionary quest for perfection.
For example, they sell a comprehensive Nikon equipment (cameras, lenses, accessories) they bought with great struggles, to start all over again with Sony, maybe just for more MP or a faster autofocus.
And they lose a lot of money in the process!
I was listening at a YouTuber saying he was selling a huge Fujifilm APS-c kit to buy a single GFX camera and 2 lenses that are never going...

It's done.

Yesterday I've ordered the Fujifilm GFX 50S II, in kit with the lens 35-70mm, as it costed the same as the body only, and now it's on its way.
This will give me enough time to practice and familiarize with the camera before the next shooting, most probably on the 29th of March, TBC.

Freedom with Klara and the X100VI.

Here is a second photo of Klara from our shooting on Sunday, and I will post 2 more photos today elsewhere, all made with the X100VI.

Working on the Fujifilm files in Lightroom Classic is going well, and I like the pictures, but this is telling me more about the capabilities of the doubly cropped sensor of the X100VI than about the medium format sensor in the GFX I'm planning to buy.

I managed to take 2 ballerinas in the house of Merate, and placed them on the same bed, with a sacred figure on the wall, and it is interesting to see the different interpretation of the same religious theme from 2 different talents.

Today is the turn of VikTory, experiencing her personal rapture and ignoring the sacred figure altogether, and yet leaving it the right space inside the composition.

This was a mystic digression, but today I'm shooting in Milano with a brand new model...

New approach to an old love.

She was coming to Milano again, but in one very dark apartment we already worked in, and I didn't like it, so I'm going to wait until next Month, but I hope not any longer...

Globalization.

I love to work outdoor, in a garden, with an overcast sky and a vegetation backdrop, using longer lenses like my beloved Contax-Zeiss Planar T* 100mm f2, to blur the foliage behind my model.
The beauty of these traveling models is a handy effect of globalization, and allows us to appreciate this Australian model photographed by an English photographer inside an Italian garden.

Sitting in the bathtub.

I should have placed Cristiana in the bathtub before starting shooting, and washed her face from all that hideous make up (consider it is partially retouched here).
I don't know why young women are so keen to paint their faces, I doubt they do it for men, because I personally prefer them clean and natural.
Probably they do it for themselves...
But, at least for what concerns my shootings, I will always insist for a clean and natural look, because I'm not allowed to wash them myself a...

Flash in the dark.

Anna has been a great model, until she lasted, and I really appreciated working with her.
These pictures will end up being a precious document, as her modeling career was extremely short, and I was one of the few photographers who managed to point my lens at her n4ked body.

Fairy tales.

I don't have enough time to extract photos from this shooting with Rabbit for all of my platforms, but for my Patrons yes!
And here is she, on the nude beach on the Adda river, balancing on a thick carpet of moss, like a fairy with signs left from panties on her skin.
To add back some magic, there is the combined effect of the Leica SL2 + Contax-Zeiss Sonnar T* 85mm f2.8 that produces a unique bokeh in the background.

Living in a box.

I don't like Bentbox, and I have few boxes on sale there, but I do sell some from time to time... So I decided to upload more starting from Sunday and hope for the best!

Worthy subjects.

A smiling lady is always charming, especially when she is in her natural state and immersed in nature.
This is the mighty Nikon D810, if I remember rightly with the Nikon 80-200mm f2.8 AF-D Nikkor ED zoom lens.
I'm not using this zoom any more, but I still believe it is a great performer.
Photography is a fascinating world, whatever is your speciality, but I prefer to picture only worthy subjects nowadays, and n4ked models are surely among the most worth our effort!

Compressed in the frame.

I always feel like having nothing to post, but I reminded myself about Dottir, who joined the Archives not long ago.
I've chosen this photo on the hotel balcony, with Dottir cramped in the frame, that reminds me about the editorials inside fashion magazines but, fortunately, in this case there is no garment to cover the tanned body of my model.
The combined sun and flash lights are showing off the skin of Dottir very well, on the 36MP of the Nikon D810.

Hot light.

Normally you would call this a "warm" light, so I'm not sure why I titled the post with the term "hot", maybe my error has something to do with what the light is hitting.

Even though I'm always searching for new cameras to try every avenue in photography, looking back I'm happy about my past work, even this shooting in the swinger club from September 2019.

One advantage of being so late on working on some old shootings is that I can be sure which photos I've never posted before: if they are still un-retouched, they haven't been published.

One happy body.

Lauretta's body is not the most sexy among my models, but it is one of the fittest and better tuned by intense work.
The confidence with which she is showing her nakedness equally charming and contributes to make us feel nakedness as our natural state.
She might be coming back in this area soon, and I will do my best to seize the opportunity.

Casual++

I never want to shoot in my house, because it is untidy.
But this one was a real mess!
And yet, it is the perfect combination with the casual nude poses of Anastasia.
The magenta colored brush on the left, the suitcase on the floor, the air conditioner on the right are the elements that stand out more in this mess.

It has been a long time I've not uploaded a new shooting of Martina on Archives, because I know she is well represented there, but she deserve to be looked after (and looked at!)

At the same time, I'm also working on Paulinepastel directly on Lightroom Classic, and she might overtake Martina just because my new workflow appears to be faster, compare...

ARCHIVED!

Only an extremely small number of people are having access to my online version of Archives, because it is an expensive option just for diehard fan of the project, because you can only look at the images but not download them, and because I seldom upload new folders in it.
This is because it takes a very long time to retouch all photos from the same shooting, and only when it is completely finished it can become part of my Archives.

WHY I’M GIVING UP ON MY FUJIFILM X100V? 6 of 6
