I have ordered a headphone tube amplifier to enhance the sound from my new Sennheiser headphone, apparently it is capable of making the clinical sound more warm, rich and poetic.
And this photo of Martina appears to have been seasoned with the same ingredients, and it works very well with her!

I'm getting out some old CD's lately, to listen to them again with the updated equipment, CD player and fancy headphone.
I was shocked to see the spongy layer of material inside the plastic boxes, meant to protect the CD's, is disintegrating, and in some cases it even stuck on the CD surface itself.
I thought such materials should have had better archival specifications, but things are not meant to last, apparently.

Sometimes I have to teach myself not to be too precise, to allow some slack in my work, because perfection is not necessarily the most enjoyable result for the people looking at my pictures.
In the latest version of Lightroom Classic, I use 2 levels of zoom on the pictures.
100% while selecting the pictures for selecting the pictures in focus or retouching the skin on the body of the model.
200% for critical retouching, mainly on the face of the model.

My 2013 MacBook Pro is not charging any more, and I have numerous shootings stuck in there for the final retouching stage, my preferred ones, that were pushed on top of the pile.
I've ordered a new charger to see if that could solve the problem and save the day.
If that is not enough, I can try to have it repaired by an Apple Store, but it is such an old model that it might be beyond repair, or I might lose the files inside during the process...

It is always a pleasure to see a young lady perfectly at ease with her nude body, even if she is in front of my camera.
The girls are always at ease with me, and this is useful to get the most spectacular photos, without even trying too hard.
If the girls decide to stop posing in this full nude style, this has nothing to do with our interaction, it is just a new strategy for life, and I'm sure she would still feel comfortable n4ked in my company, there would just not be any reason to do...
Went back to the shooting with Ania on the Adda river nudist beach, and just picked the first photo that grabbed my attention.
Ania looks like a feral creature in her natural habitat, unaware of being observed and captured on camera by a modern digital photographer.
I haven't cut the frame in any way, this is the file size coming directly from the the old Leica M240, and the buttery smooth and gradual blur of the background is by courtesy of the Summicron-M 50mm.

The way Elfa is brandishing the shower is very personal and, even if she didn't turn the water on like Dottir did, she provided her unique approach to the subject.
I love when the models add a personal twist to the shooting, and we walk hand in hand for the rest of the way.
My work with the models is a collaboration and the sooner we tune on the same frequency, the better it is.

Not in all photos Martina manages to be so graceful, but in this one there is an uninterrupted flowing of lines, between tension and relaxation.
The straight lines of the door are offering the right amount of counterpoint to Martina's graceful curves.
Only Martina manages to eroticize spaces in this way, without even trying too hard, it is just a talent of her, a very convenient one for me, and for us all!

As promised yesterday we're here to open the towel of Anastasia, my brand new model, and show you the front of her beautiful body.
Apart from the photo taken with the Nikon D810, with the AF Nikkor 50mm f1.4 AF-D and the Profoto A1 Flash; I also managed to grab some moody portraits with the Leica SL2-S with the Nikon 85mm f2 AI-s using only the available light.
You can see one of these portraits on my regular social media feed later today.

I was on the point of cancelling everything after the first photos, because once more the model didn't appear to respect the agreements we made days ago but, after a couple of phone calls, the peace was restored and we resumed working as if nothing happened.
I preferred to sign the documents before going on, though.

Yesterday I was on the verge of cancelling the shooting altogether, because the photographer mediating between me and the model is not a very precise person.
After agreeing on a price some time ago, yesterday, whilst I was confirming our appointment, he asked for more money for the location, because the usual one we used to share was not available any more.
This is the same photographer that provided 3 models before, and 2 of them ...

I found the idea very interesting and started researching on the subject.

Blue and green work well together in this photo, but something is telling me that without the presence of Jiulia's articulating figure in the frame, the picture would look boring.
Photographers love to take strange pictures (especially Leica M shooters) that are meaningful for them (and possibly other Leica shooters), but are pointless for the rest of the world at large.

The shooting in Consonno has been the Wildes I've made with Ania, she even insisted to shoot barefooted to make her nudity more extreme and aesthetically pleasing to look at.

The skin of Martina has infinite degrees of shine, from the total opacity in the shadows, to the wet highlights on her ribs.

Last time I tried to use CaptureOne, the program that was included in the purchase of the Fujifilm X100V camera, the one I used to take this photo, the program wouldn't let me in.
