Hey guys! Step by step I'm getting more courage to make comic-like sets of sketches!
I find it less frustrating everytime i make a new attempt!
Doing some figure drawing as a warm up always work for me like nothing else would, and after countless of studies i did in the past till now, I can see that creating my own out of the imagination is definitely easier. Practice practice practice, once you get used to it, practicing feels very relaxing and empowering.

Rooftop drinking Comic pt.1

Making comics is one of my biggest artistic insecurities. I try not to throw myself into a guilt trip for not drawing it even though i can and people are constantly showing their enthusiasm for the sheer idea of me creating a comic.

Boardgames night

Rather than going out to a loud club, wishing to dance away everyday's worries, once in a while it was actually way more relaxing to stay at home with the whole crew.  It had a big advantage of having longer conversations without shouting or going out of the building. Other good things were cheap alkohol and board games. Combine those two and you end up with great atmosphere of people laughing at witty banter, getting to know each other better and tightening already existing bonds.

Vision of the future.

A good way for me to keep different parts of the story separated is to give Filip a different hairstyle. As a teen, when he meets the Priest he had it rather unkept and grown out. Later after he gets his first job and starts to mingle with Patrick he explores it a bit and cuts his sides, making it look a bit more punkish and mohawk. Further tests of magical crayon and some chill sketching

After few sketches done with this multicolor crayon, I must admit it takes a lot of practice to actually achieve expected results. It's really hard not to make the lines muddy while searching for a right angle of the lead pressed against the paper. Another note is that i definitely had to press the crayon harder than I'm used to and is almost impossible to erase unwanted lines or mistakes. I tend to jump in on google graphics to find a good reference, and to be honest, it's hard for me to find a bad one. My approach to studying figure drawing (no matter if it's sfw or not) is just to use whatever i see as a practice, do it often and never stop.

Update on laptop, sketches

Hey guys,

My laptop is still in fixing and will have to go through formatting. Fortunately most of my work files are safe on the other disk. I think it's time though to change the hardwere and get myself a new pc so I am able to record videos and stream at the same time. I'll be investing into it next month and until then (or until I'll get my laptop back) I'll be uploading from my phone.

Bad news

I'm sad to inform you that my laptop has to go through some major repairs. I left it today in the most trusted hands of mr. Kuba in befriended electronics and repair store and hopefully i'll get it back around Friday but it's not yet sure.
I caught an awful virus that kept on slowing down everything, made my files open in the sluggish tempo, and unfortunately was able to steal data from me. After failing to get rid of it on my own i just had to give the case up to the professionals.
