Looking for ideas for busts and assholders with 2 characters, are there any duo you'd like to see ?

Like Jessica and Holli, Abbey and Sydney from Danger Girl, Witchblade and Lara/Lady Death like in the crossovers, Android 18 and Bulma, Orihime and Rangiku... they can be from the same franchise or just have a similar theme ( Wednesday and Lydia Deetz for instance ).

Some Ada Wong concepts

I wanted to start a series of figurines with Resident Evil characters with Ada. Well I already did Ashley, Jill and Rebecca ( with the shark sandwich ), but I might do new ones with them later. And add Claire and Hunnigan too.

I don't know when I'll do that, first I'm focusing on drawing, and when I can I'll make better concepts. It'll help visualize the final model and choose the best pose and idea.

I had to delete everything

When I tried re-publishing my page, Patreon refused and sent me some vague guidelines about NSFW content. I started by removing the girls from the banner and membership tiers, they refused again. So I deleted all the public posts with pics, they refused again.

In the end I deleted most posts with pics and polls with links to pics, and finally they let me publish my page.

TAKING A BREAK

Patreon isn't the problem. The real problem is that I slowly started to hate making 3D over the years. Every second of it, every software, every character, it's slow and tedious.

Working, re-working, re-re-working, pushing vertices in and out for hours until I get the shape I want, and then looking at it the next day and it looks like shit. I feel like Randy in that South Park episode where everything looks, sounds and tastes like shit.

I'm sick of it. Some of my older characters...

I got an idea

Frustrated that you didn't get the variant you wanted for a character you like ? I think I found a solution for that.

What if once in a while I took a month to go back to older models and fullfil your requests ? Like a mini commission included in the subscription price.

Adding small variants doesn't take much time so I could make several ones per day, or take longer to make a new pose for instance ( like Tifa sitting on the copy machine which some people want ).

Preparation in progress

I'm preparing all the meshes for printing, it's taking a while so it's normal if I don't post much this week. I'm trying to cut them all into pieces.

The first pose is ready with 51 pieces.

Change of plans

People voted massively Yes to the Nessa Month poll. Based on the other times I did that, I should be able to make 6 or 7 poses.

For the lewd versions I can make them with Tentacruel and Octillery, and also without tentacles for people who prefer it that way.

I spent 5 days trying to make Character Creator work, and in the end it's so limiting and tedious that all the time I save with posing and adjusting the model, I waste it later because of...

Whole month Nessa ?

I have so many cool refs and ideas for Nessa, I want to do them all. And since I suffer from choice paralysis I'm constantly doubting if the ones I choose are the good ones or not.

So, a solution would be to take a month and do as many Nessa figurines as I can. Like I did with Jessie and Tifa.

I don't know if next month will be dedicated to Elisabeth, I don't have a lot of inspiration for her so I might do two character next month or maybe three as usual.

The characters for next month will be Nessa and Elisabeth.

Also I'll try something "new", or more likely, I'll try what I wanted to do with Jesse and Tifa : two characters instead of three, but with more variants. But with Jesse and Tifa it went overboard and I took a month for each character.

IMPORTANT : change of plans

I planned on taking some vacation in August, but instead I'll do it next month in July. This way I'll have more time to finish June's figurines ( I need to completely rework Chel, she's not good ), I can spill a bit on July and it'll reset my schedule so I can start fresh in August.

Since I finished last month's figurines a bit late, I started the new ones late too and I don't want to half-ass them ( they need a whole ass ).

Popular vs old/obscure

Alright so I think we got a problem highlighted by the post on game characters : there is a clash between most recent/popular characters and older/more obscure ones.

Thing is, it wouldn't be fair to put both in the same poll, as the most popular ones tend to win, leaving no chance to the others.

Both have advantages and inconvenients though. The popular ones might please more people and drive more sales once on Cults, but they've been done many times by other artists already.

Game characters in July

According to the poll the next theme would be Anime MILFs, but we just had a MILF month so I'll keep it for later. Then it's monster girsl, but I'll keep that for Halloween.

So, the next theme after that would be game characters. Buuuuuut there are so many of them, it would be hard to choose a few to make a poll.
