A few last things to finish up and test. There are additional options in the game settings. One for 'Prerequisite not met', and two content related settings.

The 'Prerequisite not met' was added as a request. Players raised concerns about not knowing another path was available if they'd made a different choice earlier in the game. Since adding it, there have been comments about players not liking being presented with an option they cannot select...

About the Steam release

Firstly, thank you to those who've added the game to your wishlist on Steam. This helps promote the game to more players toward a more significant launch.

The game is scheduled to be released into Early Access in January. It is planned to include the fifth playable day. While the college classes are shorter scenes, there are four classes to set up and render. Any single play-through will only play two of the classes.

Just wanted to give you all a quick update on the progress of the next version. 

Teri's flashback scene about the sketchbook has been expanded slightly. Initially, it was only triggered if you asked about Teri's sketch, not Catherine or Samantha's. Testing showed it was too easy to miss this chance to see the scene. Therefore, the dialogue of the three options has been changed, and each c...

Image quality

For the trophy poll, the easy mode option won out. I want to add an in-game setting to enable multiple trophies in easy mode. This would make it a per-game setting. If there are any issues with that, I will make it a preference option to apply it to all games, but still only in easy mode. This change will be included in the next release.

I am also going through the look closer images. The aim is to increase the quality and bring more of the details out.

The winning outfit from the last poll was purple. Although you can't see much of her outfit, here's a sneak peek of what it looks like. Since some parts of the bar have an off-white lighting scheme, the purple isn't as visible in this scene as in others. I chose this scene as it shows off her assets and should create some intrigue as to what's happening between Max and Karla.

The outfit will be worn by the waitresses at the bar event. In the upcoming scene, that will be Karla. But at a later date, Kimberley will wear this outfit. Teri will also wear the same outfit, but a different color as she's a more senior staff member.

This isn't just a vote to find out who's popular. There will be some special treatment for the winning character. This will be in-game and character-specific.

Upcoming scenes

The Natasha and Kimberley scenes were pushed into the next update. Natasha's scene is the ignitor for a group event. This involves the tasks app on the smartphone. Whilst that functionality should be working, since this is the first utilization of it, there needs to be a good amount of testing.

Hence I felt pushing that into the next version prevented any unnecessary delay in getting some content out to everyone.
