Testing new dresses

...and they're quite wonderful, especially this red one.

Sorry about the messy apartment, we're in the process of moving to a house with an own, small yard to keep the dog (and us) happy!

Hey, you should totally read this on Photour's Facebook. Project L's been always getting help from somewhere, and I wish for you to aknowledge them – as well as yourselves for helping Project L become what it is ...

Part 48's BTS video

Still trying new things with the video. I should perhaps make shorter cuts with more action, but then again, I want to show out also the idle moments and real feelings. And give more in the form of video.

I didn't translate this specific video, as it takes a lot of time off from editing the photos and so on.

Besides, we're just talking silly stuff.

Testing new stream layout

It seems to work - and I think the stream's overlay theme turned out decent, too. We'll have to arrange time for a new stream soon enough.

Project L: Part 48 - Streaming games

http://photour.net/project-l-part-48-streaming-games/

Even though I was initially very doubtful of the end results, I'm pretty satisfied with the end results – I mean hey, this was a natural occurance in these girls' life, with rather odd clothes.

Included is a cut version of the stream – but worry not, it's still almost two hours long!

Enjoy!

Also, if you...

WIP: Part 48

You asked for it – and it's coming! The 48th part will be published as soon as Youtube's done processing the stream video.

Some parts had to be cut off due to Youtube's automated copyright claims, which are a real pain in the ass; seriously, there's a hint of music playing on the background, so Nintendo's gonna take all of the ad revenue from the originally thee-hour-video? Yeah right!

The edited one will be a little shorter than two hours, but it'll get here... in time...

WIP: Part 48?

I'm still on the edge of whether I should put out this as a Project L and charge for it or not. There aren't as many photos as there usually are, but I've got plenty of video and over three hours of us recorded playing on live stream.

A new Patron level: $250

I never put a Patron level higher than $50, because it felt quite greedy. I never thought anybody would take on that. After months of being at Patreon, I've reached three highest-level pledges.

And that is simply amazing.

"Perhaps I could offer more to those, who want more," I said to myself. Thus, introducing a new Patron level of $250: "All of the above, my overly sinceraptorous thanks, a high-quality poster-sized print of each Project L. Besides this, a personalized tha...

Part 47: Editing video + thoughts on future of Project L's video

Looking through all the few clips of material that I shot with my 1D X, it’s coming more obvious and obvious that I’ll absolutely have to use it in the future; the clips are just so much higher quality. Sure, there’ll always be use for Sony’s action camera for candid shots, ongoing video and so on, but 1D X’s built-in video is just so much better.

I’ve been looking into getting a better rig to help stabilize the shots, but with little results; the decent ones seem to cost a for...

WIP: 47th part's video test

Even though the action camera can catch more and more discreetly, I really don't like its lacking video quality – so I decided to test using 1D X's own video again. And I'll have to admit, the quality is absolutely superb, albeit it's a bit shaky as I don't really use image-stabilized lenses. I'll get rid of most of the shaking in Premiere Pro, so this clip isn't really the end result, moreover a sneak peek for you, my beloved Patrons.

I'll have to look into longer video productions, as ...

The behind the scenes and outtake photos are on their way!

After discussing the last project with my photographer friends, I've started to think whether I should be more considerate of the photos that I include in the main Project; would the project be better with fewer photos and tighter limits on what I'll publish to create a better narrative?

Not to worry, though, that would only mean that the behind the scenes photos would just have more photos, so practically you wouldn'...

Project L: Part 47 – Last days of winter

Finally! The photos of the 47th part are out!

I'm quite happy with how the photos ended up. I think there's a proper narrative of some sort going on and I feel that it works great.

I've got the problem that if I've taken a decent photo, I somehow think I absolutely must publish it – even though it doesn't really fi...

Part 47: WIP

Still finishing up the last few photos. To be honest, I'm personally pretty satisfied with the results. Jonna's modelling skills have improved greatly, I think, and shooting with the 35mm f/1.4L II really suits her style of posing, as the photographer is not too far away, but not too close either.

Stay tuned!

WIP: Part 47

Editing progress is ongoing, although everything is a bit delayed due to some twatwaffle breaking into my car and stealing whatever he could, including my car's somewhat expensive radio.

Bloody hell. Luckily my car insurance will pay most of the damages, but not everything. Besides there's the deductible part.

Oh well, the bureacracy of...

Work ongoing

Sorry for the radio silence! It's been really busy in the university, and there's very little room for creativity.

Better late than never. Or something like that. But all and all, sorry we're late! Caught a rather strong flu probably from London and was bedridden for a week.

Luckily there was enough video, too, but then again, it could be more varied, it could have more situations and so on.

Anyways. Enjoy!

Delayed BTS of part 46

Sorry for the delay! I've caught an awfully strong flu, and doing work right now is unfortunately out of the question.

I've been editing a bit by bit here and there, but being ill is a bit too exhausting. Returning to the bts as soon as possible, so here's a work in progress photo of the behind the scenes set!

WIP: Part 46, London

I've now managed to go through all of the photos! It's now absolutely sure that I'll go with only one project from London - but it'll be a tad bigger than the other ones.

It'll take a while to form a coherent storyline from the photos, but not too long.

I haven't even looked at the video quite yet. I just hope we got enough material from there!

WIP: 46th part, London

We've returned from London!

Man, it was really, really exhausting. We walked, walked and walked some more. Despite it being January and somewhat chilly by UK's standards, the central London was filled with tourists.

As we tried to avoid the most obvious places – such as Big Ben, London Eye etc. – we might've struggled a bit to get the "London-look". I mean, we could've done so much more, but then again, perhaps that would've been too much.

I'll have to see – I've ...
