It's not just Friday...

It's a holiday weekend. It makes me want to roll in the grass and take off my clothes. I'm sure you feel the same way. 🤣 It's a new month and I'm super thankful and glad you're with me. It felt like last month zoomed by for some reason.

Heatwave

Today, the only thing this girl needs to do is stay indoors and put her feet up. This year seems warmer to me for some reason or I've just become too much of a snow bunny. Anyway, I'm going to work at just staying cool. I do realize it's a desert out here, so maybe a drive to the mountains is in order.

What is it about men that they have this thing about watching women completely unaware? Sometimes, I can feel the eyes on me and I always think it's my imagination. Maybe I'm sitting this way just for that very thing. I can be doing the most mundane things and for some reason it's a turn-on. Well, who am I to complain? If the simple act of dropping my skirt in the middle of the room does it, then why not? 💋

Who says we can't play in the kitchen? I remember all those times my mother would tell me the kitchen is serious business. It's too warm today and this countertop feels cool against my skin. Let's be adventurous and playful. How about we make our own dessert right here? We've got all kinds of things in the fridge. A little whipped topping, some cherries, honey, and even a little chocolate syrup. Don't forget the sprinkles.

How perfect is this bottle as a Derby gift?! I love beautiful whiskey bottles and save them for my Infinity bottles collection.  I like to pour the last bit of the whiskey into an "Infinity bottle". I know, I know.....Some whiskey drinkers may flinch or roll their eyes, that I do this, but I think it's fun to see what it all tastes like when the bottle fills up. I keep a record on the bottle of the date and the name of the whiskey with a paint pen. I keep a separate bottle for Irish pot ...

Friday is for French Stockings

When I was young, my father was always watching old war films and since there was only one tv, I was kind of stuck. I really wasn't into it, but one thing I did pay attention to is that the soldiers always bartered in French stockings, no matter where they were. That and perfume seemed more precious than eggs. I really didn't understand. Were the French the only people that made stockings? Were they that much different? Today, I'm much more understanding. I used to laugh when a soldier pulled...

Le Cirque

This was my third visit to Le Cirque inside the Bellagio, but the first since Covid. They were closed for a long time afterwards, so it was a thrill to be able to go back. It truly is a very special dining experience that I would highly recommend if you have the chance.

The eight course menu, was nothing short of exquisite and the service is impeccable. I found out that the same wait staff has been together since they opened in 1998. Isn't that incredible? I was able to meet the ch...

So many of us are still working from home, I always tickle myself thinking about how people really dress for their zoom meetings? This is mine that I did for one meeting, with my jacket buttoned, of course. I almost started smiling thinking about what would happen if I stood up. I think the meeting would have ended right there. Sometimes, a girl just has to take matters into her own hands. I love mirrors in the bedroom and can't help myself. My weekend plans changed and I have absolutely nothing to do. This is pretty rare for me, so I think I'm going to play tourist in my own town. Lots of delicious bad food and maybe a bit of shopping. Hey, I know...let's go rollerskating.
