Tonight, I thought I would try something different and give you a recording of my thoughts.  In the post below, you can still read about this fine whiskey and tell me if I have the right pairing of shoes with whiskey. 😉🥰

Today's pick is Pearse Founders Choice. Thomas Pearse Lyons, a biochemist and businessman was born in Ireland, but moved to Kentucky in the 1970s. He ended up back in Ireland and started Pearse Lyons Distillery in a very beautiful converted church with gorgeous stained glass windows on Dublin’s Thomas Street.

I first heard of Pearse Lyons in Whiskey Club, and I so loved the photos and story of the converted church to distillery, that I was really excited about the whiskey. Unfortunate...

French Flair

These French seamed stockings are wonderfully soft and silky. They don't have a lot of give, which can be typical in many fully fashioned stockings, but with the right size, they are perfect. What I liked the most about these in particular, is the color. They are a beautiful tone of coffee with the seam just a tad bit darker for effect. Leg details

I can honestly say that I cannot get enough of stockings and high heels!  I absolutely love the design on the back of these particular pumps and find them so elegant. The stockings are  extremely soft and delicate and seamed only, as the RHT (reinforced heel and toe) would have shown through the heel cutout.

I find it super exciting to wear something sexy underneath proper and professional attire. Especially this corset that creates so much tension, excitement and anticipation. I picked this up a few years back at a boutique in San Francisco. Unfortunately, it no longer exists, so I don't have any details for you about it, other than it is an authentic steel boned corset. Hope you like it as much as I do.

Aria Resort ~ Chapter 3

These photos were taken late into my first night of shooting at the Aria. There are lots of floor to ceiling windows on this corner suite, so all the lights were twinkling outside and I was enjoying them as I was posed facing the windows on that one shot. The sexy lighting and music was really getting me in the mood and I was having lots of fun!

Oh my! I have waited a good while to get my hands on this little horse topped Bourbon! A special thank you to a sweet friend that made my bourbon dreams come true. I had to wear my country gentlewoman best, to sip this fine spirit. This is definitely a special treat and will be on future Derby weekends 🥰

Aria Resort ~ Chapter 2

It was super exciting to be in this beautiful, spacious conference room, playing out all my office fantasies in my head. I love the thought of taking charge and having the attention of the entire room.  Is someone getting promoted? Or maybe let go? I'm usually all business, but little do they know I am all about pleasure in this moment. It would be our little secret.

This week's Whiskey Wednesday kicks off poolside. Sweet and delicious, Yellow Spot is a single pot still Irish whiskey which has been matured in three types of cask: American bourbon cask, Spanish Sherry butts and Spanish Malaga casks for a sweeter flavor. I usually don't like to mix my whiskey, but on a warm day, a little ginger beer mixed in makes a refreshing cocktail. Cheers!

So little attention is given to the feel of fabric. It isn't just about the person wearing the article of clothing, but those that pursue the wearer. First, it is the sight of clothing that draws you in; the colors and the shape. How it wraps and how it flows. It has to make you imagine something the designer wanted. Does it make you imagine something underneath? Does it make you focus on a particular part of the body?

Aria Resort ~ Chapter 1

These photos were taken in Aria's Media Suite, which is a very unique room that includes a huge conference room with great mountain and pool views. A perfect place to host corporate groups or small meetings. I hope to find some of the photos I took myself of the suite layout and the resort to share with you.

It was a fun place to shoot, because the conference room created an office environment to play in. You'll see more of those soon!

Nineteen years and counting...

Nineteen years ago this June, I moved to Las Vegas. It's hard to even imagine it's been that long. I guess I would now be considered a native, by all intents and purposes. When I moved here, everyone said that nobody stayed in Vegas for long. People would come and go. Though I think that has changed some in the last 10 or 15 years, as Vegas has spread out and more families and retirees have moved in.

Throwback Thursday

This was a really fun photoshoot to do at El Matador Beach in Malibu, California. I especially loved the rock formations on this beach. It was a beautiful afternoon and the sand, sun and ocean felt amazing. The water was a bit chilly, so I just put my feet in and enjoyed walking along the surf after we were finished. Definitely looking forward to going back there soon.

Wishes come true...

I am beside myself and I've waited three days to share this with all of you. This bottle of Irish whiskey has been on my wishlist for some time now and a very dear friend from St. Louis got it for me. Most of you know of my indulgences in shoes, stockings, and lingerie, but my Whiskey Wednesdays are the one thing that I feel like we can share together. I learn something every week and I get excited to share it with you. It's completely impractical and that's part of what makes it so fun to me...

For the love of swimming

My love for swimming started very early for me. I was 2 and a half years old when I learned and I am told I swam like a fish. I always wanted to go to the pool and I never wanted to get out! I wasn't fortunate enough to have a pool growing up, but my cousins and friends did, so I spent a lot of summers over at their houses getting my fill.

I swam competitively, but got a late start in todays standards. I was a Freshman in high school and was beside myself when I got picked for the team....
