i had a small epiphany a few days ago. while working my mind wondered to the blender sculpting tools and i thought "why cant i sculpt on an already rigged model?"
if i could, then it would bypass some of the most difficult parts of rigging, hips, shoulders and hands
so i imported a daz model into blender as a Collada so i keep all the basic weight maps and bones. i then sculpt my goblin character and moved the bones into the new positions.

i shrunk the pages back down because it was easier for me to see what details and line weights i really needed to put down.
also things have been really busy over here so im behind on everything. i will try to catch up over the next few days though

this time i did the pencils on bristol board and that worked a lot better
fauning over blender sculpting
ever since i saw some of the relatively new tools in blender making it very similar to zbrush i have been wanting to dip back into sculpting and rendering.
i want to pose and render a sculpt in cycles to the lighting is nice and realistic but in grey scale so i can try a glazing method of coloring
