Here are few images of the upcoming ending! I'm currently animating the 2 other dolls, lots of action was motion captured. Each character is animated separately, so I have the freedom to let them do what they do whenever!
I had lots of headache with my new laptop and Tortoise, but finally got it to work (voice overs). Swapping a machine was a big job, but I can finally say it's fully done.

Currently installing all the software, and it is a huge task! The promised delivery timetable slipped for about a week, but I didn't stop and just idle to wait for it.
I installed Maya to my old-old-old laptop and managed to get things rolling quite nicely! I will post some images on Friday, as I took a totally different approach with the third ending.
Meanwhile, I'll keep on transferring terabytes of content to the Raider 18 HX AI.

I was expecting the new laptop tomorrow, but forgot these holidays. The new estimation is Tuesday. I would’ve love to release some images tomorrow, but my backup machine said goodbye last night, in the middle of rendering.
So, I’m in a situation where I type this post from my phone😂. The next key delivery is next Tuesday, I need a laptop for it.
Anyway, the new laptop is MSI Stealth U9-275HX - a beast.

The MB of the work laptop is broken. 4 weeks time to get replacement, can't wait that long.

I had a fun time creating these endings, and as you know it’s the do-not-do choose these paths. The real ending, if you choose to skip these two, is a major scene, like bigtime. I want to end the FD3 with a blast, and I know what I need to do. Be patient, and I will bring you something out of this world!
It takes some time to put the final piece together, but I’ll keep updating!

The scene begins AFTER you have made your decision to join her. She promises you everything, but it’s all lies. You end up being a part of her, and she uses you till eternity.
I’m still thinking about the best way to make the selection without breaking the immersion. Maybe a spot on ground or trigger during some timeslot? Any ideas are welcome!

Whoa, I can't believe it's almost ready! The complexity of this was at the level "extreme", as there were lots of joints and blend shapes to control.
I'm currently adding music; again, lots of small audio elements, but this scene is coming out tomorrow!

I have 90% of the first ending animations done. I had to arrange mocap for it, as I couldn't get good enough results with traditional methods. Everything is timed with 0 frame accuracy, and the whole thing is going to be awesome!
Talking about details and time; Our hero is wearing clothes, so I had to think of a way to get rid of them without causing FPS drop.
Cloth simulations, nope, too heavy... what else? What about if the Mother magically tears them off? Darn,...

My week has gone with modelling and animating content. There was dozens of images I wanted to share, which is way too much, so I ended up recording a video again.

Besides creating the cinematics, I ended up revamping the first session with the Mother. I tested halfway with Quest 3, and noticed the audio quality of it is just crap. When I create any audio, I use cheap but good headphones, like Koss Porta Pro. With it, the immersion is like 200% more powerful. So, my recommendation is to use proper headphones!

This was bit more complex work, as I had to sync multiple characters with frame accuracy. I ended up having them in one file, as Unity time steps are not very accurate.
I recommend using headphones when watching. I ended up mixing lots of music and sound effects into these videos. With the music I wanted to express the emotion as usual.
What's missing is German guy's voiceover, which I will try to arrange before next Friday. Our archeologist is Hans Wurst :D

The images are when you spawn at 2018, and your journey is closing to it's end. Again, I had to create lots of new stuff, but so far I'm really happy with the look!
You have to turn the cubes to right order, and the bridge comes down. The hints were told before, over and over by the old you. Your companion is a German archeologist, eager to see the "seirens".

Our hero is loosing it bigtime. He is mentally insane, and the Dominatrixes just want more and more. When all the hope is gone, something happens.

The 1952 is quite big. Our hero starts to believe he is just another patient, and nasty dreams and hallucinations haunts him. Story wise this has been an interesting jigsaw puzzle to put together.
I'm currently working with the last scene of this era, and after the release I get my hands to the Finale!

This week has been with the Asylum 1952. It's quite a mind bender, as you end up questioning what is real. I've added more people to the Asylum main hall, and given more life to some of the nurses, reacting your presence.

For a LONG time I've been thinking how the FD3 could end. I knew one ending, and you know it with the Alpha 3 as well. Take a trip back to the 1951 Asylum… The alpha starts from a closet end ends to it. I tested all scenes inside Unity, but not the actual build. Let me know if there is something to fix!

The first Asylum scene is a wrong year, 1951, but you get some vital information for the next visit, 1952. Personally, I find this "before jumping again" meeting a bit sad, as one is trying to tell you things, but you consider him to be just a lunatic patient. I had to scratch my head a lot so what he says is cryptical but understandable.
I used AI to create the voice overs, mixing our hero with an old man's voice for the old guy.

I've created lots of content for the third Alpha, and thanks to your feedback ( alpha 1&2 ) this should be quite bug free. The alpha 3 is fully 1951, which is a wrong year to arrive. You have to do your best to figure out the year of the Origin, as ofc, obstacles will occur on your path...
