Sneak Peek 08/21/2022

Nothing super fancy this weekend. But fresh off the GPU are the first renders for this update cycle. These probably won't make it into the game yet, I was mostly testing lighting, but you get the general idea. Set was custom built so I had to tweak things myself, happy with how it turned out. 

Some differences you might notice in these renders. I wonder what they could possible mean... cue spooky music.

Another week of early update work, not very exciting, not a ton of bells and whistles. About 11,000 words of the script transposed, perhaps a little less than 1/3 of it or so. I'm thinking perhaps 35,000- 40,000 when all is said and done. Hoping to have my first script draft completed early September, provided all goes well.

Hey all!

If you weren't aware, the update has been out for the Purple, Brown and Black belt tiers. Will open for Blue and White later in the week.

Had pretty decent reviews so far, and I thank you all for taking the time out of your day to play my game. Truly couldn't do it without you. With this update we're about 25% through the story of Unbroken. Very excited for you to see where the path will be leading.

This has been a hell of  update cycle. Adding scenes, removing scenes, adding animations, removing animations.  I am wiped.  But I'm thrilled to finally get this out to you.

Quick update... Update?

Just wanted to chime in and let you know where things were.  Testers are hard at work, and while they do that I'm currently trying to fix some things I'm really not happy with the quality of, but if they don't work out by end of day I'll have to move some things around instead to get the release out to you.

But release probably early next week. If we manage to finish sooner then it will come out as soon as we finish. We're just squashing up the last of the bugs and issues and tweak...

So good news bad news, everybody's favourite game. Bad news first. The final scene I needed to render wasn't functioning properly when I went to get it, was crashing my PC every attempt. After trying to fix it for 6 hours it became clear it just wasn't going to cooperate. So in the interest of expediency I had to remake the whole scene from scratch. Good times. ...

Easy breezy today

Script 100%. 

Render posing is now complete, 2079 of the renders completely rendered. Should have about 50 or so renders that will need to be redone so far, may find a few more during alpha and beta but not many expected.

Animations are at 40 of 40.

Coding is at about 90%

Hopefully have everything in a stable state Monday-Tuesday, and should be able to hopefully get this beta to testers sometime next week. After that anything else is their ...

Keeping it b today.

Script 100%. No changes

Render posing is now complete at about 2,132 renders posed. Number might bounce a bit either way as I decided if I need renders or decide to move a scene to next update. That typically happens after I run my first Alpha and see everything all set up together.  1829 of the renders completely rendered. I expect all renders will be complete next week and implemented post haste.

About 2,017 renders posed, I most likely will finish up poses this weekend, then it's just down to finishing the actual backlog of renders.
