Mooncross Flower

HEY GUYS! HOWDY?

Here's something different I had a lot of fun making! I've never had to come up with a ficcional flower before! But this one is very special and very important to Delilah.

This is a Mooncross flower. It blooms in the early morning hours, while the moon is still shining. It's a type of Lily, but not much is known about it, since it's only found deep into the wilderness.

Maned Wolf

HEY GUYS!

Here's something else for the secret project I'm currently working on!

Have you ever heard of the maned wolf (Lobo-Guará)? This is the biggest canine we have in South America and it's one of my favorite animals ever!

I once saw one of these goofy creatures crossing the road, they're quite a rare sight!

Although they're huge and might look intimidating, they're just shy sweethearts who stick to a very fruit/mice based diet!

I got a bit carried away with designing cloaks for Steban and Delilah and I must clarify that they won't be wearing cloaks at the same time - as much as it would have been epic - or at least not yet xD

Another frame from the tiny 15-second-long animatic that I'm working on!

This is also already drawn in what I believe will end up being the comic's new style. Thank you guys SO MUCH for all of your fantastic feedback - it means the world to me and I'm taking everything you say into consideration! We'll find a solution to this and I think we're super close now!

Secret - Page Test!

• loose, "handmade" and fun background art

• Playing around with the paneling again - making the flowers escape the frame as a way to convey Sherry's overwhelming wonder.

Nothing You Can Do

I'm still out on my style quest! This was a little challenge I decided to take on - to make a piece as fast as I could, with as much quality as I could.

Of course it looks really sloppy, but the result was interesting!

Page Style Test (failed!)

I hope this is not to spoilerish! HAHA

Yet another page style test for you all! But this time, it's a "failed" one!

I tried to go for a "Shut Eye" look on these. I won't lie, it was a lot of fun! working with colors like that has a lot of potential.

I've also tried a different style for the lineart, using more weight and going for a more "classic comic" style.

I'm once again using the white borders ...

This is what I'm testing out on this page: a more monochromatic color scheme and how it affects emotion, skipping the lineart step and using my original sketch + white borders and loose speech bubbles.

I'm fairly pleased with this result, personally! I've always felt that so much emotion and expressiveness ...
