  • Had an immensely busy weekend, it was quite difficult to get back into the groove this week.
  • Got into full swing of things on thursday.
  • Poses done along with extra gear and cleanup, ready for lighting!

Grow'er, Not a Show'er

Weekly friday update!


  • Been working away at the stallion this week..
  • ... and the big boy's complete! Missing mane and tail, but those will be done later.


Planning to make a mare simultaneously from this point on, can utilize the stallion sculpt to speed up the process.

Next week I'll get to some still renders. Got a couple of ideas.

Pleasure on Pine St.

Weekly friday update!

  • First half of week was spent on making extra anonymous bull character.
  • Hood done and implemented into the rig.
  • Made alternate texture for the new bull.
  • Went back to work on the horse, doing the naughty bits, then it'll only be the face left before it can get retopo'd.

Going and going

Weekly friday update!


  • Took monday off, crunched end of last week, worked saturday as well (to make the July release).
  • Tuesday was also taking it easy, did some cleanup (90gb cleared just from 3d projects).
  • Wednesday started updating the rigs a bit, and begun working on the extra bulls (elaborated below).
  • Rest of the week was modelling, texturing, and integrating stuff into the bull rig.

Weekly friday update!

  • Spent the entire week animating. The gear took quite a bit of care.
  • Came up with a hood for extra bulls for when it's needed. Change up the textures and bam.

Aiming to release the animation next week, got maybe a day on it left before moving on to lighting and the rest.

Weekly friday update!

  • Did storyboarding for a commission a couple of days this week.
  • Tuesday national day off (lucky year)!
  • Done some minor updates to deerboy rig, in prep for next project.
  • Got to sketching ideas for the next animation. Had some raunchy brainstorming with viewers (mostly Blou) during one stream. Decided to do this one deceptively simple animation this month.

  • Did some work on a commission.
  • Spent the rest of the week studying equines (donks too) and sculpting the next character (he's one big boy!).
  • Lots of sketches done, will pick the best and post them (they're low-res by default, it'll be on public galleries).

Weekly friday update!

  • Worked on a commission.
  • Started a horse block-in! We're revving up the engines.
  • Studied the donks this week. Slowly getting a hang on them. Mammoth breed specifically, Blou brought those up.
  • Midsummer national holiday thursday!
  • Friday was mostly posting, then studied donkers again.

  • It was rather nice to get the extra angles done in a timely manner.
  • Bound Deer is complete, at least for now.
  • Started working on a new addition to the barn. Details later. ;} But it's part of the new strategy.
  • Next week is for commissioned work, and some for the new character.
  • Either next or week after, all sub pages will be updated. Not much will change, mostly time allocations, strategy, maybe have more clear descriptions...

Weekly friday update!

  • The entire week was taken up by the sculpt.
  • Sculpt's coming together well! Adding finishing touches/fixes, getting it ready for retopo.
  • The modeled eyes gave really good initial results! 
  • Schedule's looking good too, will soon get onto "Bound Deer" alt angles (likely on wednesday). Aiming for 23rd of June release.

  • Lit, rendered, and composited the animation early this week.
  • Ran into some video encoding issues on tuesday. Lots of annoyances with loss of color accuracy, but there's nothing I can do.
  • However, updated some bits and pieces regarding video encoding, gained small improvements, so it wasn't a waste of time after all!
  • Will soon be updating tier rewards to reflect a few changes that happened over time, as well as goals.

  • Good news! The animation is complete, did all the touchups and started lighting today (friday). Hoped to maybe get done with the render and composite today but unfortunately hiccups took a bit of time away and that optimistic estimation was.. well.. optimistic. :D

This week was spent working on the sculpt commission.

Rather rusty, and it's kicking my ass a little, but that won't stop me!

There is a rough body there too, but it's too horrible to show, enjoy some head that's real close to the desired likeness.
