I think I might do livestreams beginning this Saturday afternoon.
For the first one, I think I'll start with making a simple item in Blender. Not sure what kind of fight prop yet.
Then, in following streams, move onwards to using Substance Painter and then DAZ itself.
I've never streamed before, but have tried a few test runs using Discord/OBS.

Because of some strangeness over at Deviant Art, I can no longer find my original thong, so I decided to make another one.
Something even skimpier. It also has two zones (fabric and trim). As always, the UV layout is attached for further customizations ... if there is enough space.

So, I thought about a new way of getting around to how things get distorted by changes in character shapes when making this.
It's a posable item with many posable parts. It's a very simple shape, and providing the UV layout for customizations. I quickly used the Paris 2024 texture and it came out okay.
This was painful to make. I really hope the tools for making items like this gets improved in DAZ.

Experimenting with tools and brushes in Blender. Made this pair of adjustable boxing trunks. Uses dForce on the legs to make them more realistic in posing.
Made the waistband and trunks more integrated so they can share design flow, but did provide some waistband designs for branding.
Providing the UV layout for more customizations.

Nothing really is on my radar in terms of real life commitments for this month (some for late September, though), which kind of allows for a little planning.
I started the month off with a pair of wrestling boots. I had made it part of a new outfit for a female wrestler but figured I can part it out, starting with the boots.
Next up will be probably be the long gloves and kneepads that went with it.
I plan to release the two piece outfit as my Summer Sizzle for 2024.

Made a pair of boots, with a bonus pair of platform soles for the ladies. I think it's one of the better pairs of boots I've made. Seems to bend properly, though I haven't tested with body shapes.
Provided some designs along with the UV layout for customizations. Will allow for text and logos as the two boots are separated on the UV layout.
I had tried to make it so the lace loops and knot were on their own bones but they would not bend properly. Wasted a lot of time on that mess....

Another barricade, but has cloth draped over it. Wish I had not made the simulation permanent to get variations, though I suppose using a displacement map would add different folds to avoid repitition.

... I've avoided firing up the 3090 to do anything intense. I noticed that if I try to do anything AI-related the heat just spills out. I stuck a floor fan right in front of it to push the heat out from under the desk but it still heats the room quite quickly. The AC unit really can't keep up, and with side cranked windows, it's hard to find any replacement until less than $1000. I have a rather sad setup with plywood in the window and 3D printed clamps. Something I've wanted to do for a very long time.
Used AI to generate 100+ different fans and assembled this into a fairly simple family of props.
Comes in two types: four straight set crowd blocks, and three 'curved' crowd blocks. There was four but not sure why DAZ didn't save it properly and spend hours trying to figure out why that particularly one didn't work. Eventually gave up before I had a stroke.

I just realized I could just paint on designs in Substance Painter, export out the base map and reimport that in as a surface ID texture for masking, instead of what I used to do. And that was toiling in Blender then going nuts trying to get inverted masks right in the correct order.

I made a new set of pads. Made them a bit different from the usual.
For starters, they're designed to work in conjunction with a pair of simple leather boots I'm going to release in the next couple days (I hope). Not been getting the stitching effect I'd like with them.

Reworked the referee outfit a bit to come up with this. I think the pants came out way better so this might see this returning to also being a referee outfit. The only problem is that it doesn't share the same UV layout.

Had to shut machines down, and was gone for a couple days. Got the AC working this morning, but last night was really rough.
I'm one of the few that welcomes winter.
Someone asked for a Pride design for my 2023 boxing gloves. I made the base colour maps. I didn't get around to making materials using them in DAZ. Maybe for Pride 2025 ... assuming Biden doesn't nuke us all before then.

Been a while. No product image for this, and still haven't gotten around to reorganizing the moves folder. Later today I'm hoping to copy the directory and fiddle with it and see how it goes.
This one has various pinfalls and one submission (that is in the pinfall folder):

So, right now I created four folders that are rather obvious (01-Basic Posing, 02-Hurt Poses, 03-Pinfalls, 04-Corner Poses).
That helped keep the list down, but it's getting too long to scroll through and I really don't use search. So the obvious thing to do is to group up other moves.
One that I'm going to add is 99-Referee, because I have a few referee poses and I should make more. Those will be extremely handy for me, and probably others.

As I've been going through and cleaning up my Blender and Substance Painter folders, I came across this project that I had forgotten about.
It's basically a boot edit of my Reebok boots from 2021, with a lift and heel.
I changed the UV islands for the sole so that they don't look terrible when using the original set of textures made back in 2021.
So, it does use the same UV layout as the original, non-stiletto version released years ago.
