The end of the month is already loooooooming - and I have no questions for the July Q and A yet!
So if you have any questions about me, my characters, my working techniques, etc., please leave them in the comments below.
Please don't leave me to my own devices for the end-of-the-month video, or I'll be forced to do something drastic - like devote the video to the "Klaatu is really The Beatles" rumors of 1976!
Oh, and here's a preview of the Pic of the Month - three guesses w...

Took a little longer than I hoped, but here's page 7 of Kaijuu Fighter Tetsuko #1, "Giants in the Earth!"
Now - what to work on next? Page 8 of KFT? Go back to Tetsuko's Odyssey #1? I still have a Pic of the Month to get to (and any ideas you have for what you'd like to see in the July POTM will certainly be considered!)
In the meantime, download Page 7 at the link below, and enjoy!

Well, my experiment in trying to use BitChute as an alternative to YouTube for hosting my Q and A videos has gone down in a flaming wreck. So... back to YouTube.
Anyway, here it is, in easy, no-search clickable form.
And as always, if this video has inspired a question for the July edition, please leave it in the comments below!
2019-06-29 13:49:20 +0000 UTC View Post...I was trying a new hosting site, BitChute, for my videos, and Patreon doesn't support embedding for BitChute videos.
And since I'm facing a long workday today (after a long workday yesterday), it'll be late this evening or tomorrow before I can Upload the video to YouTube and do a proper post.
In the meantime, the video is here, if you want to watch it now.

...and here's the POTM for you "fivers" (who've pledged $5/month).
This is actually a piece I did back in 2016, but haven't posted anywhere (until now). It was intended as part of a digital portfolio, "Naked Steele", intended to be sold through Gumroad, Oronjo or some similar marketplace website. But (as happens so many times), I never created the other pieces there were (supposed to be five), so this lay in my archives, waiting for the right moment to spring upon an unsuspecting world!...

The month was getting away from me, so I decided that for the June Pic of the Month (POTM) I'd present artwork I'd already done but haven't posted anywhere yet.
I also decided to do two POTMs; one for all my patrons and one for my $5/month patrons. I thought I was getting a little predictable in the the POTM would usually be a "general audiences"/SFW drawing for all subscribers, then do a nude/NSFW version for "fivers". So this month, two different POTMs. And since Tetsuk...

Oh, and the June Pic of the Month drops in a couple of days. Here's a preview:

(I think you can guess the outcome...)

This might be (I haven't checked yet) the longest Q&A I've done, with the most questions - 7 (including one held over from the April video). Enjoy!
And if you have a question for the June episode, by all means leave it in the comments below.
BTW: In the answers to two questions I refer to a DeviantArt journal entry in which I discuss my plans to consolidate two of my characters into one. If you're interested in reading it, 2019-05-30 02:31:15 +0000 UTC View Post
This might be the most frightening monster i've envisioned Tetsuko battling! (I still haven't come up with how she defeats it, since it seems to be capable of dragging her toward that glowing maw of who-knows-what kind of energy that even the Golden Giantess might not be able to survive...)
I don't know if I even should make this an "official" monster for her to fight; or if I legally can, since this monster was very heavily inspired by the Italian poster for Mothra vs. Godzilla 2019-05-29 03:47:54 +0000 UTC View Post
The May Pic of the Month is finally finished! And I'll post it just after I post this.
But I wanted to say a few words about the inspiration for the POTM. I felt, though, that if I put this in the picture's post It would make the post too long. So I'm posting this separately so that those who are interested in my inspirations and my thought processes can read this and (I hope) gain an even deeper appreciation for the POTM; and those who just want to ogle the pic can skip this post.

And, while I'm at it, here's a little taste of what the May Pic of the Month will look like.
As for the rest of the pic, I'll give you a hint: this is a KFT (Kaijuu Fighter Tetsuko) illustration, so you can safely assume she's in a pitched life-and-death struggle against some huge, fearsome monster which already has something wrapped around her wrist.
2019-05-18 18:42:34 +0000 UTC View PostI was this -><- close to foregoing the mid-month call for questions for the May Q and A video; I already had the question I'd held over from the April video, plus got three questions from one sponsor, and since the average video covers three to four questions, I figured that was good for this month as well.
But then I thought, why not take some more anyway? Maybe some of my new sponsors have questions they'd like to see answered; so let's give them a chance to ask.
So ...

I thought it would take longer to produce, but I did manage to finish and post it just before the end of the month.
But there were sacrifices to be made...
As I mentioned before, I planned a "text" version of the Q&A because my voice was not up to snuff due to an allergy attack. (And although I feel better, and think I sound better than I have been, I still don't think I could get through a recording with my voice the way its is now.)
The other "sacrifice" involves a que...

Well, I've managed to get one project done for April, despite the health issues I've been fighting lately: the color version of the Hyper Tetsuko drawing I posted earlier this month.
I still plan to plow ahead with getting the all-text version of the Q & A video done tomorrow, but I gotta be honest: it's more likely that'll drop on Wednesday.
In the meantime, the full pic can be had at the download link below.
2019-04-30 02:25:08 +0000 UTC View PostA situation has arisen that will affect the production of the April Q and A video.
It started yesterday with just a tickle in my throat, a little post-nasal drip... but by last night, and this morning, I started sounding like a frog.
I think it's just the allergies I'm usually subjected to this time of year kicking in again (and just a couple of days ago I was thinking I might have avoided them this year... guess I jinxed myself). I feel fine; no fever, no lethargy (well, no more ...
2019-04-23 20:04:12 +0000 UTC View PostI've got two questions so far (and they're pretty good questions, too!) for the April Q & A video, but I'd love to see more.
So anything you want to ask about me, my work, my characters, etc., leave 'em in the comments below! you'll see them answered in the end-of-the-month video. (So far I've answered every question I've ever received except one, and only because I somehow overlooked it when it came in.)

So here's page 4 of Kaijuu Fighter Tetsuko #1, "Giants In the Earth!" (mainly to prove that I have been doing something with my time lately LOL!) I will NOT be posting these at any other site until they're all collected into a PDF or epub file, and then I'll be selling them to non-Patron subscri...

You're familiar with the adage "A watched pot never boils"? Well, I guess the 21st Century equivalent of that is "A watched YouTube upload never finishes."
I'd posted less than an hour ago that YouTube was giving me an upload time of (at one point) over two hours for this just-over-12-minute video. So I figured I'd work on something else while I wait for the video to finish transferring.
Then I checked on the progress a few minutes ago... and something must've happened to speed up...
2019-03-28 01:01:35 +0000 UTC View Post...YouTube is molasses-slow in uploading it. In fact, when I started the upload, the page told me it would take 1 hour 28 minutes! (The previous month's video took about twenty-five minutes.) And as I watched, the upload time actually went up! It's now *checks* 2 hours 2 minutes, and only 9% is uploaded.
I think I'll just let the thing go, work on something else, then write the post for it tomorrow morning before work.

This is (one reason) why I keep most of the elements in my illustrations on separate layers: so that when I get a request to re-post a piece without the background, I can do so with little effort. I simply hide the background layer and export a new JPEG. Easy-peasy! (do people still say that?)
