I may have to start a new category of artwork: "Random Muscle Heroines".

As compared to my "Random Muscle Babes" (RMB), who are simply muscular women who aren't already one of my established characters, a "Random Muscle Heroine" (RMH) is an RMB who's portrayed in superheroic situations (fighting robots, rescuing people from disasters–or, as you can see here, demonstrating why it's difficult to hold her captive).

Charlotte - on the fence

It's been a while since I've drawn Charlotte, my pin-up girl. (Well, to some extent, all my girls are pin-up models, but Charlotte's the only one who makes a living at it.)

Some time ago, I had the idea of doing illustrations that emulated the kind of "themed" layouts endemic to the "girlie" magazines of the 1950s through the '80s (maybe even the '90s?). You know the type: sexy nurse, sexy auto mechanic, sexy maid, etc. Think of this one as part of a "sexy farm girl/cowgirl" pictorial.<...

Another Aleesha

I suppose there'll soon come a day when I tire of drawing Aleesha, and return to one of my other girls. But... doesn't look like today will be that day. (Or yesterday, to be precise, since that's when I did most of the work on this pic.)

This is a Patreon exclusive for at least three months.

What I need to do now is an action shot. I haven't shown her actually showing off her strength doing something heroic, which I've usually done by now for a new OC.

The Mighty Aleesha - costume concept

Even though I've already posted a "first" "official" pic of The Mighty Aleesha, I actually started work on this drawing before that. I was finalizing her costume (what there is of it) design, especially the color. I wanted the appearance of gold lamé, but I wondered if it was too close to the colors of her skin and hair. (It's why I went with purple in the "first" drawing....

I shouldn't complain; I've had as much fun drawing Aleesha as I have any of my other OCs. In fact, I got this idea shortly after I "created" Aleesha, and decided she was a superstrong heroine.

And once again, the idea just seemed to come to me: Aleesha being held in hi-tech shackles even she couldn't break, and - hey, how about she's surrounded by some sci-fi glass cylinders that contain... contain what? Idea: clones of her!

As I wrote earlier, it looks like I've inadvertently created another superheroine OC. (It happened like that with Charlotte the Voluptuous Avenger... I do some sketches of a sexy busty girl, suddenly a name comes to my mind, and before I know it, boom: another superheroine.)

This time the name that came to mind is "Aleesha". I've given up on coming up with a "heroine name...

"Biceptember" at X (Twitter) -part 1

Well, over at X there's a hashtag #Biceptember, which is apparently a reason for people to post pictures of (you guessed it!) biceps. I thought it might be fun to participate in, so I began on Sept. 1, and tried to post a new pic every day. That lasted for almost two weeks before I missed the first day! Trouble is, even though I was posting previously-drawn sketches I would clean up, it was still taking time away from more important projects I need to finish.

Important info about new subscriptions

In case you don't follow tech or social media news very closely: Apple has informed Patreon that starting in November, they intend to start collecting 30% of every subscription made through the Patreon iOS app.

Tetsuko (almost) wearing kimono

As a child growing up in Japan, Tetsuko owned (and wore) a couple of child-size kimono along with her school uniforms and Western clothes. When her parents suddenly died and Tetsuko was forced to leave Japan to live with her Aunt Margaret in Florida; one of her biggest regrets was that she couldn't bring any of her kimono with her. Seems I've been doing quite a few drawings lately that involve having to draw water or sweat beading on bare skin. A tedious process, much like drawing chains - all those individual links!
