Now he's done it.
Kind of enjoying the buildup here. This is the first significant sequence I can think of where we take the character from a relatively peaceful place and then put her in a situation that triggers a change. Most of my sequences start mid-crisis or with a random exposure to a mutagenic substance or the full moon. (Or they're fist TF/origin sequences.) This year’s theme is unfinished business and boy has this been sitting on the iPad for awhile—since June of 2019! And this seemed as good a day as any to finish it, with the Odinson’s new movie premiering here in the US of A! My technique has evolved significantly since I inked and flatted this thing, so the linework may not be quite what you’ve become accustomed to in my more recent work. Anyway, enjoy!

Jen’s outfit from the latest She-Hulk comic, which I thought was really cute. (Though as I studied it further while drawing this I realized it’s one of her Shulkie sized outfits that she adapted for her human form—which makes sense because she wrecked her last Jen sized suit in the first issue.)

The next page is done! This took a little longer than usual because I wanted to post these three panels together. I also revised the dialogue of the rest of the sequence to match a script I had worked up awhile back in preparation for this and recently recovered.
I think it's getting to the point where Jenny is Anakin Skywalker and She-Hulk has the high ground. ;)

JennyBomb returns! Sorry this update took so long--I wanted to do these panels together and I wanted to get them right. Even in the old version I tried a couple of different approaches.
