March Movie Watch A Long Recommendations

Hey Peaches! It's time for another movie watch-a-long, and since its March, the month after 'The Month of Love', we thought it would be fun to watch a movie about people dealing with a break up. For example Swingers, or Forgetting Sarah Marshall. So let us know your favorite getting over a break up movies. Poll will come out in a few days, can't wait to see what movies you recommend.

Hey Peaches! What we thought was going to be Omega and her three dads toughing it out waiting for Cid's rescue turns into a completely different adventure. Their stolen ship is closer than they thought, they just have to break into a mine populated by teenagers and run but a gluttonous evil doer. Plus we get to see Omega and Hunter's high flying trapeze act. I think it's ready for the big top.  

The Last of Us S1E06 Watch A Long

Hey Peaches! It's been a long 9 days since the last episode. After the events of Kansas City we have a little time skip. Joel and Ellie are getting closer to Tommy's last known location, unfortunately they have to travel through a forest that's full of death. And then later we get the cliff hanger that Adam's been waiting for all season.

Hey Peaches! After last week's game changing two parter we find our, now diminished, group of wayward clones on a simple mission. Do a little light mining for expensive, and explosive, material, and then come home. What could possibly go wrong? Turns out the real explosive material was Omega, as she's having a hard time dealing with Echo's departure. It's time for the dads to step up an acknowledge what we've all know since the beginning.

Hey Peaches! Time for Round 2 against Umbilical or whoever. Forgoing a long rest our team decide to press their perceived advantage.  Of course they were unaware of the Lair and Legendary actions, and so they are in for a fight. But who shall tell us 'how they want to do this'?

Hey Peaches! The Kansas City 2 parter comes to a close with a lesson in what irresponsible vengeance gets you.  Turns out everyone is really upset about Brian getting stabbed, and I guess Henry too, as Karen leads the KC Freedom fighters straight into the waiting maw of the mushroom kingdom. Oh, and of course the show wouldn't be complete without extracting it's weekly tear tax on us.

Behind the Scenes 24 - Feb '23

Hey Peaches! Thanks for your patience as we dealt with a minor, and annoying, tech issue. Here are a few of the things Jay and I talked about over the past month of content. There's been so much going on, and we really appreciate you being along for the ride. 

This month is already off to a crazy start, with tLoU and Vox Machina. Quantumania is under two weeks away. The podcast is still in rare form. And, on top of it all, we're starting production on Bonus Action! More news coming...

We learn some interesting things about Joel and Ellie, and about the state of Kansas City. It's not looking good for KC, we should probably avoid it.

Hey Peaches! It's time for Grog's backstory, and hoooooly is it bloody. Turns out our mostly gentle giant wasn't always so gentle, and his tribe are serious bad guys lead by his uncle. Who killed him. Yeah, it's dark. But Grog's got a plan. Challenge his uncle to a fight for control of the Herd. Only one problem. Grog is currently not as yoked as he use to be. Hopefully he can find his strength soon.

Thankfully Pike has an amazing father figure, who help her, Scanlan and Grog in their time of need.  Will Vex be able to confront her issues with her father, and remember the people, or person, who care about her the most?

The Legend of Vox Machina S2E07 Watch A Long

Hey Peaches!  Well my computer issues may have knocked out the BTS video, but I was able to overcome and get Vox Machina done in a normal time frame. Huzzah!

When last we left our stalwart heroes, half of them were in the fey wild (realm), and the other half were in points unknown. Prepared yourselves, as we're going on some trips this episode. Bring plenty of water, it's important to stay hydrated.

Bad Batch S2E06 Watch-A-Long

Hey Peaches! The Dad Batch find a Wookie in trouble, a Wookie that should look a little familiar. After saving him from one band of traffickers, they have to save some of his people from other traffickers. There's a lot of very bad people in this episode, which, we think, is why the Batch wasn't using Blue Donuts on this mission.

Hey Peaches! It's time for a treasure hunt. Omega finds a treasure map in the glove box of an old ship, which leads to a planet that's not on the galactic map. Not only that, but it seems the ruins they find are from a civilization that pre-dates the Republic! This is a crazy Goonies-esk episode that sparks a very interesting debate on the origins of the Force.
