It is that time of the year again. Time to polish your sword and fine-tune your marksmanship because Ampira's Tournament is around the corner.
During this event, you'll have a chance to register for Lord Ampir's contests and have a chance to compete with the local champions in three different activities. The first one is the melee combat tournament. Most locals and even peasants participate in this first blood contest where the swifter wins. The second competition is the...

Here's the .psd file for 392 Ampira's Tournament. Notice that it is necessary to have Photoshop to use it. Inside you will find that it is all white. That is the uppermost layer, I only use it to make the file preview smaller in size. Once you remove that uppermost layer you'll see the illustration. (it's just one click)
Most of the illustration elements are properly named and arranged in folders in the layer area. Some assets like textures or smart objects have been ra...

Back in the days when you visited a dungeon, there was no preconception that you'd find challenges fine-tuned to your level. Underground, anything goes. You can find all kinds of this and that is what I was thinking when I wrote this adventure. This is meant for a group of level 3 characters but there are some nasty traps, encounters, and situations in this adventure. Not all challenges can be bested with sword and sorcery. It is better to not touch some things. It is better t...

I've been reading lots of OSR and B/X D&D material as of late and I wanted to put the danger to a dungeon again. It bothers me that we all kinda share a sense or expectation of balance within a TTRPG game. In this expectation, a party of level 2 characters going into a dungeon can expect to have their abilities tested just enough to make it challenging, but not so much more that they are overwhelmed. This is the metagame scaffolding behind the game.

Here is a cool isometric depiction of an adventure location. This is Bellview Church, named after a noble family from before the rebellion with no living heir. The church is the only house of prayer in a small town. The local priest, Bernard, is a sour, sad man who's seen terrible things in his life. The worst of them were his personal tragedies with some family members passing untimely.
A demonic entity noticed his grief and offered him a way to fight back against a go...

An order of knowledge-seeking monks work and live in the Crescent Moon Library. This repository of knowledge is located in the desert, somewhat protected by the inclement weather and heat. The monks delved in the secrets of the arcane manipulation of existence. Their thirst for knowledge was so strong that they performed the ultimate taboo in magic. With a bloody ritual, they linked their souls to the essence of the abyss. This caused a fundamental transformation on their bodi...

A pair of disobedient teenagers went inside the sunned mausoleum because they wanted to see what old tales were really about. The locals avoid this place because it belongs to the last despot rulers of these lands, a few decades ago.
Two hunters went to the crypt to retrieve the young ones but they too didn't return. Perhaps a group of valiant soldiers and adventurers will accept a reward of gold pieces in exchange for exploring the tomb and retrieving the missing people...

This short adventure is about a known crypt from a bygone age that no explorer has managed to plunder yet. Some people in the nearby towns and settlements know this location as the Crypt of the Draconic Effigy. The name has nothing to do with its purpose. It's only that a group of adventurers tried to explore the place a decade ago and only one of them survived. The maimed man told a marvelous story of a deep crypt crawling with undead monsters, traps, and a large fire-breathi...

This is an orcish outpost in the middle of the forest. They have a wooden palisade, tents, some things they plundered from a caravan, and other goodies. The map works great with roll20 and other platforms. We've also included day and night versions for this map.
Cool Surprise
This adventure is featured on chapter 3 of a cool adventure we released today. Now, this adventure is not setting generic, it is set in Eberron. The first part of...

Hello, Denizens of the Tower!
This month we've released all of our map-adventures in a new format we've been calling "2-page delve" because it resembles the 4ed D&D adventures from the book Dungeon Delve.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the result and whether we should carry on doing this or return to the usual open-prose PDF format for our Elven Tower Adventures.
The 2-page delves are shorter in word count, at around 1200-1500 words but all the info fits in a single 2...

With great joy and a sense of quiet accomplishment, I bring you the last of this month's 2-page delve format dungeons! Know that it is thanks to my awesome supporters on Patreon and other platforms that I am able to share this particular release for free to all visitors today. Thank you!
Our intention with this product is to emulate the layout and feel of 4th edition D&D book "Dungeon Delve". In that book, they sliced dun...
