The New Ron! Revived!

Alright, so I've cleaned up the first two chapters, added a bit to the second, and written a third for this posting.  Most of the first two chapters will be the same, just with typos corrected and a few awkward pieces removed here and there.  Third chapter is all new!

...yes, I know I'm late.  I'm sorry.  I had this 3/4 written last night and took a break.  I woke up eight hours later.  I was just really fucking tired, but you have my apologies for missing my deadline.

New Story?

So, we've recently hit sixty patrons, which is awesome and not something I thought would actually happen.  I promised myself, though, that I would put up another poll sometime soon to see if people want a new story.

I'm still working on Speedrun 14 and should have it or a quest update out tomorrow.  In the meantime, have fun with this poll.  I'll call the vote on Sunday so people have plenty of time to think on it.

Petal to the Metal 4

Well, this took way too long.  Sorry about that.  Meant to have this ready last night, but it really didn't want to write.  Still, I kept plugging away at it and managed to get something resembling a chapter out.  This is mostly filler, though, setting up for the next chapter with Soifon.  Hope everyone still enjoys it, though.

...and, um, wow.  I think this chapter has, potentially, more emotional impact than the last one?  Just a bit more subtle.

Looks like I'll have the next chapter of Speedrun out tomorrow and the next chapter of Petal to the Metal out during the weekend.  I was trying for tonight, but some relatives dropped by and I have to 'engage with them' by edict of the other members of my family.

Maybe between the two updates you'll see more of the Bruce Wayne quest too.

...and fucking ouch, man.  What I ever do to this fic for it to write like this?  Just gut-punch after gut-punch in the feels every fucking time!

I know I said more Petal to the Metal, but I'm on a roll with this fic right now, so it's a tossup what you'll see next.  Either more of this or another chapter of that.

Alright, here's the next quest update knocked out, I'll have the next chapter of Speedrun up tomorrow, and then I think it's time I go back to Petal to the Metal for an update of that.

Speedrun 11!

I wanted to get the meeting with Zuko and Iroh in this chapter, but it would have run way too long.  Instead, I'm going to go ahead and finish that chapter too, next.

Expect it in a few days, maybe by the end of the week.

As it is, this chapter comes in just under 2K, which is about what I was aiming for.

Mobius 7 Part 2!

More Mobius!  I've been dragging my feet on this one, sorry ladies and gentlemen and non-binary folk!

Yeah, this section just really didn't want to come out for some reason.  Hopefully now that it's done Part 3 of the chapter will come easier.

In happier news, I'll have either the next chapter of Speedrun and/or a Wayne quest update out tomorrow.

Okay, so standard rules apply to quest updates, even if I haven't had one active in a while.  This quest is kind of a trial run for reviving my Semper Ad Meliora quest to see if I can handle story updates for you guys and a SFW tier (probably a dollar) below the current one.

Ideas Mutate...

Yeah, remember that potential fic about Bruce Wayne's brother?  Well, it's been rolling around in my head and I decided I needed to get it down in detail just to clear my mind.

What came out... wasn't really a story.

It was an initial quest prompt, for some reason.

Hey, look!  We're finally getting to the actual superhero stuff!  It's actually happening!  Woo!

Status Update:

Just letting everyone know, my neck of the woods got hit by a pretty intense storm (tornadoes were involved) a day or two ago and my home was 20 hours without electricity.  This might not come as a surprise, but it wasn't a very conducive environment for writing, so I'm lagging a bit behind where I wanted to be.  Other than that, though, I and my friends and family are well.

That said!  I should have something out either tonight or tomorrow.  I really appreciate ever...

Next up for this fic will be a pair of NSFW bonus chapters involving choice characters as well as a bit more power-gaming.  You'll see what I mean.
