Well this one took a while to finish, it's not necessarily the best one I have made but it was the most technically demanding.

When I first started making animations I decided that I want to avoid jumping from one pose to another and instead I should actually animate the transitions. My thinking was that I want to get better at this and I'm not going to learn effectively if I just skip the inconvenient parts. I'm pretty happy that I did do that as it has helped me a lot...

What a pain in the ass this one was, I wasted more than a week on just some technical difficulties with displacement workflow and fluid simulation. It ends a bit abruptly, I was planning to make it longer with a auto fellatio pose but I just wanted to be done with this and not delay it more.

I have also decided to switch from blender, the software I use to animate these, to maya. I don't want to rant about all the reasons for that so here is what that actually means for future animation...

Male synth wip

Done with the high poly + base model. UV's and texturing next. I may be able to use the rig from my previous synth with just some small adjustments which would save time.

Last animation was updated with the changes I mentioned I would make.

There is some slight flickering on Skäir during early parts, I'll fix that later.

I did also animate a very short post scene but since I'm already behind schedule I decided to just upload this now. I'll update this post with new version in few days after I have rendered that scene and re-rendered few beginning shots.

New tier and some fluid testing.

For a long time I only had one tier so I added another for 1080p resolution animations. I don't really have ideas for other tiers so these two will be the only ones  for the foreseeable future. If I ever decide to start using more polls to determine what to work on next then I'll probably just add it to tier 2.

Lizard solo

Next animation is going to include this lizard with that blue wyvern.

I may add a new tier for 1080p quality videos so I would have more than just one tier, I'll have to see how the render times are when I get my new pc up and running and if rendering at that resolution is feasible.
I'll start rendering with higher sample count regardless so the quality of these 720p videos is also going to increase.

Character WIP

When I started making this my goal was to create a kobold that is a bit more feral looking. In the end it ended up looking more like anthro lizard than kobold but I'm pretty happy with it regardless.

Rigging is next.

Wyverns 2

Next character is going to be a female kobold and next animation is probably going to showcase that kobold in a solo setting.

I have also been considering the possibility of taking some commission, the way that would work is that I would make a new character for the buyer and then include that character in 2 different animations, a bit like a YCH but for 3d animation. I'll talk more about that at a later date.

Some environment test renders

Done with the environment for now, still need to render a few second test animation to see how much noise/flickering it has since I'm currently rendering at just 64 samples to keep the render times at somewhat manageable level. If it ends looking bad in motion then I might have to do something else with that background scene.

I also did switch from cycles renderer to octane renderer. So far I have liked the visual result it produces and it also isn't prone to frequent crashes due to not...

Took a bit longer to finish this than what I anticipated.

Next month animation is going to also include these two but I'm finally going to make a nature environment to render these two in instead of just rendering on a white background.

Adine Solo

A simpler animation this time, I was planning to do something else at first but had to go with this.
