Part of why Parker's story goes nowhere is because I initially didn't have a good reason why she wasn't always on the squad. She's a ball of positive energy that's got an in with the head cheerleader. Seems like a no-brainer. If I had to come up with a canon reason for why Jane changed her mind, I'd say it was because Parker lacked the confidence for it until recently.

Also this is my attempt at a cliffhanger page. Is it working? Are you cliff-hung?

Raina in Bed

Been awhile since I've managed a commission! The decision to start taking every other Monday off from pin ups and strips has already done a lot to open up my schedule and give me some breathing room. And commissions are back at last because I can work at my own pace on them without a strict deadline looming over my head. I've only got a few names left on the waiting list I started in 2022, and I'll be sure to announce right here when I'm ready to open up again. Might be sooner than I later if those remaining names are no longer interested after waiting all this time.

Anyway! This job for Khan features Raina from the comic getting ready for bed. Who's she sharing it with tonight? Sylvia? Casey? Isaac? I'll leave this one up to viewer interpretation. I had fun working on this and I hope you guys like it!

So that middle shot of Casey in the sunset is what I think will be the kind of angles I use in the new sex scenes. I really don't want to go full Austin Powers to hide penetration and fluids and I don't want things to look overly censored if I can help it. I just need to practice with less explicit body shots that convey the action while leaving a bit more to the imagination. That's the aim, anyway. We'll have to get to a full sex scene before I can test it out, which shouldn't be too long now.

Meanwhile I'm glad I established ages ago that Mary was practically an expert at this whole spying thing. As I couldn't explain how she got such close up shots of these two otherwise. Though considering two of the pics were taken outdoors and one was next to an open window, Casey and Royce aren't exactly being as careful as they should, either.

Brought back another background for this one too. In that sunset panel again, I like to think that Casey was super jealous that Raina and Sylvia went to that lakeside hotel without her, so she booked a night of her own with Royce.

This scene was already planned back when I thought TRW would still be a fully pornographic comic for the foreseeable future. I worry that people will think Mary's seduction attempt might have gone somewhere if not for the abrupt direction change in my content. Not so. Abbey only has eyes for Casey no matter how hard Mary's abs are.

Meanwhile we're back at the park in Castlewood where Bria recently conceived. I think this place might have my favorite color scheme that I've ever pulled off, and I wanted to revisit it for a page or two.

In any case it feels good to be making the comic again. Hope the drama here has your interest! :)

TRW Strips #120

EDIT: Decided to ret-con Abbey into a regular goblin rather than a hobgoblin. It's more what she looks like and I only made her a hobgoblin as a passing reference to Isaac calling her that in the VN.

I'm wondering how to handle these strips with my new, less frequent output schedule. My plan was to alternate between a strip or a pin up every two weeks, but a whole month feels like a long time to wait between pages for a sequential story. I'm thinking I might just keep doing strips until the story ends, then do pin ups for awhile in between before starting another one. With my extra time I should be able to start doing occasional commissions again here soon. They're much less stressful than Monday pin ups because I don't have to bust them out in a day and a half. Maybe commissions could help fill the pin up void around here during strip stories? Let me know if you have any suggestions.

As for the strip itself: It's been awhile since I played D&D or any of its obscure competitors in the tabletop role-playing landscape. But I don't think I've ever made a seduction attempt myself. Possibly because I would tend to play dopey or unsexy characters because they amuse me the most. I was often an especially dumb orc or an old alchemist with cat allergies or something like that.

In any case it's good to be back! Hope you like the strip!  

Liz's Appreciation Bread

Well it's been nearly a week. I think that's long enough to assume that everyone who's reading this has seen my post about going R-rated and decided to stick around anyway. You all have my most sincere thanks. Both personally and professionally I have no idea what the future holds for me now, but in the meantime I'm extremely grateful to everyone willing to give my new direction a chance.

I Need One More Week Off and Have Announcements to Make

In general, I've always avoided discussing my personal problems with my audience. It's my job to provide escapism/entertainment after all. Why bog my readers down with my issues unless I absolutely have to?

Well this time I absolutely have to. Recently, the nature of the work I do has had serious negative repercussions on my personal life. As a result, I've decided two things: I need to work a little bit less, and I can no longer present outright pornography in my art. Moving forward, TRW will be R-rated instead of X-rated. These aren't decisions I've come to lightly. If you're interested in the details, please read on.

Let's start with the work part. I have been a full time artist since 2015. It's the best job in the world. But as a result I've thrown myself at it 110% for nearly a decade now. In that time, between the comics, strips, pin ups, writing, commissions, and game development, I've worked seven days a week with rare exception the entire time. I was of the mindset that if you enjoy your job it's impossible to work your life away, but now I'm not so sure of that anymore. I've decided to cut down the number of Monday strips and pin ups I do each month from four down to two.

Again, not an easy decision. The $5 tier is the most popular one and I wince at the idea of lessening the rewards for it. But I just need more time for myself. I'm not saying things won't get restructured as time goes on, this is just where I'm at as of this writing.

Next, the content. TRW will still be sexually charged, just more like what you would see in a regular smutty movie rather than a porn movie. Basically I still want to present sexy naked women but I've painted my last cumshot. I don't want to get into the details but last week the stigma of creating a comic featuring graphic sexual depictions of barely legal teens came down on my head like a brick from the sky. A change has to be made if I'm to continue.

The obvious concern of course is that without said graphic sex the public interest in my comic will wane. And make no mistake, if my decision makes you want to drop your pledge there are no hard feelings from me. What you're paying for has changed. If you leave, go with my thanks for supporting my work in the first place. But there is a potential upside in that as much as I liked drawing long and detailed sex scenes, they often grind the story to a halt when they occur. Sometimes for months on end. Maybe I'll manage to make a comic that's still engaging without the crutch of explicit sex scenes to lean on? Time will tell, but I look forward to the challenge all the same.

And so the plan as of this writing is to spend the next year or so tying off narrative loose ends for TRW and giving it a proper finale. After that, I can't say for sure what the next evolution of my comics will be. Meanwhile I'm still figuring out some things like what the best path forward for the game we're working on should be as well. Your feedback will be very helpful as I go along if you're up for sharing.

And that covers it for now! There is still a lot for me to sort out and I don't know how it's all going to go. But if you're reading this I want you to know I am extremely grateful to you for reading my comics and supporting my work. I will be back on Monday, the 29th.

Casey could have taken the time to take a proper shower before rushing off to Royce's place. It's not like Bria was going to be any more or less pregnant when she got there. But I find it more amusing that she would have thought getting to Bria was so urgent that she only had time to wipe down with a towel and not even do a very good job at it.

Patreon Pin Up 4/8/24: Madelyn Pryor

Guess who finally watched X-Men '97 over the weekend? I haven't looked into what the overall public reaction to this latest effort has been, but to me watching this show was like being wrapped in a fuzzy nostalgia blanket. I haven't picked up an X-Men comic in years and my personal superhero movie burnout has progressed to the stage where if a new one doesn't have "Spider Man" in the title I don't even look up from my coffee. But I am an enthusiastic walking encyclopedia for everything from this show's specific era of X-Men.

It's amazing how fast it all came back. I found myself dredging up memories from the comics, video games, and even trading cards of the time. The new animation isn't a style I know how to accurately describe. It's somewhere between 2D and 3D. It looks like Archer but with way more money thrown at it. It doesn't look like the original X-Men cartoon, but it evokes the aesthetic of it well. Much of the old vocal cast is back, they got the banger of a theme song, and the outcry on social media about Rogue's "butt nerf" turned out to be unfounded, I feel. For a Disney product, this show is strikingly horny.

Which leads to Madelyne Pryor here. For all the lore mastery I was just touting a few sentences ago, I had no clue who the hell she was. Man, what a fun villain. Just a sexy, scenery-chewing monster. So much so that (veery mild spoiler incoming...beware...good? Good.) I wish they hadn't wrapped her up so quickly. Seriously, why wasn't she the main antagonist of the entire season?

I could go on about the little things I like. Cyclops being presented as a badass for once, the fact that it's an X-Men anything that isn't just all about Wolverine, but I think I have enough paragraphs here. If you want to tell me what Madelyne's deal was in the comics or why I might not have heard of her, please do. And if you want to talk 90's X-Men in general, I'm your guy.

And so we abruptly move from a relatively wholesome scene to a very explicit one, as is the TRW way. This probably isn't the messiest page I've I've ever drawn, but it sure feels like it at the moment. I feel like 90% of the work I did today was fluid-related.

I was showing the page to Kal for proofreading and he commented on what a hassle daily life would be, walking around with breasts this huge. I'm inclined to agree, if only because of how often these canons get in the way of what would be pretty standard natural poses. Hugging, reaching, especially checking phones, all complicated by having two massive pumpkins strapped to the torso.

But I wouldn't have it any other way. Hope you like the page, only a few left in the chapter now!

Thanks for waiting, everyone! It's been one hell of a week, but I'm finally more or less recovered and functional again.

Almost 350 pages of a sex comic and I've somehow never drawn a lip biting kiss before. Hope I pulled it off well enough. As for everything else, I know I often detail what I'm trying to convey from a narrative point in this space but this time I'd just like you to tell me what you think if you would. Did this kiss go how you thought it might? Do the reactions, expressions, and dialogue feel like they belong? As always the feedback is appreciated.

Patreon Pin Up 3/26/24: Red Hood

Red Hood beats Alice in this month's Discord Poll! What I'm wondering is how many of you recognize her or the game she's from: Goddess of Victory:NIKKE.

Nikke is one of those media anomalies that is apparently insanely successful and yet not many seem to talk about it online. At least not in the circles I roll in. To the unaware, I'd best describe it as an extremely horny gallery shooter/visual novel about robot waifus with tragic backstories being sent into battle. It's a gatcha game with mobile roots, a genre that I typically look down my nose and make huffy, disapproving noises at. But I have to say that the character designs on these thirsty ladies can be downright stunning on occasion. It's 2D artwork comprised of what I estimate to be a buttload of Spine skeletal animation layers. It's normally not a style I'm a fan of but Nikke proves it can look amazing if you throw enough money and talent at it.

So what do you think? Have you played it? Are there any other mobile games that you feel have delivered more quality than you might expect from them? I'd love to hear about it in the comments and thank you for your patience this week while I bounce back from the flu!

It seems that on every visit to England I'm fated to fall cartoonishly ill at least once. In previous instances I caught said illness on the flight here. (A near statistical certainty if you really stop and think about air travel.) I would bring a good old fashioned farm to table American virus to share with my English friends the moment I arrived. Not so this time, oddly enough. I was even seated next to a coughing guy for crying out loud but somehow I made it here uninfected.

Now that I've formally established Elianna's horny outbursts as a recurring thing, I feel like I can talk more about why they happen. The way I see it, she's a Castlewood native like everyone else and has the same jacked-up sex drives they do. She just represses those urges until a blowup is inevitable and she makes out with her topless maid or shoves her tongue down Derek's throat while grinding on his junk. Anyway I hope I've laid the groundwork for this well enough so that readers aren't as shocked as Derek here.

TRW Strips #118

New story time! I figured I'd avoid doing two "day in the life" stories in a row but we'll come back to that idea later. This one takes place just a little later than the current pages of the comic. Keeping the exact time frame hazy for now but it's after the night at the strip club where Morgan was licking stripper feet like there was no tomorrow.

Fun fact I avoided saying "Dungeons and Dragons" in the dialogue because I couldn't think of a clever satirical variant that hasn't already been used and would fit TRW. I'm open to suggestions if you have them!

For the backgrounds here, I've taken to an unlikely source for reference: Google Street View. I took some screen grabs of the very streets I used to roam myself and painted over top of them. It's not a perfect system, but it will do in situations like this where it's hard to find a decent 3D model of what I'm looking for. The weed shops aren't on this particular street but they had to be in the shot to convey the authentic Washington State setting.

Patreon Pin Up 3/11/24: Marle

Everybody knows Akira Toriyama was a big name in anime/manga. Even if you never watched an anime in your life, you've heard of Dragon Ball Z.  Though it wasn't until his passing last week that I realized the depth of HOW accomplished this man truly was. I don't know what your Twitter feed looked like over the weekend, but mine was transformed into an endless procession of mournful condolences and homages. To say Toriyama was simply an anime/manga icon is an understatement, it turns out. He was an art community legend on a global scale. 

So naturally over the weekend I couldn't help having Mr. Toriyama's legacy on my mind. I never really got into Dragon Ball, and the only Dragon Quest I ever finished was the original on the NES. So his blockbuster content may not have been for me, but Chrono Trigger sure as hell was. 

This isn't my first Chrono pic so I'll try not to repeat myself even more than I usually do around here. But Chrono Trigger is, to me, an objectively perfect game for what it was at the time of release. It had a huge impact on me, and I have to dust off my DS every couple of years or so to run through it again to this day. 

As for the pic here, this is Marle from the game. She's a crossbow-toting runaway princess and like every member of the main cast, she rules. I also included my Ayla from a few years back here if you missed it.

Now I'm trying to think of what other ways Bishop Meadow could be the Bizarro version of Castlewood. If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them. XD

It makes sense to me that Trish and Liz would clash. I mean, most people clash with Trish. Bria is one of the rare cases of someone who got close enough to her to see her positive qualities come out. But I figure between Trish's abrasive personality and Liz's low tolerance for bullies, these two would have been butting heads for as long as they've known each other.

Story complete! On my end, I imagine Courtney's romantic shortcomings always having stemmed from an ongoing series of wrong place/wrong time sort of scenarios. Like how she didn't realize she had feelings for Abbey until she'd already missed her window, that kind of thing. 

In any case it's time for me to decide who to focus on for the next strip. As of this writing I have nothing set in stone. So if you have new ideas or just want to double down on any ideas you had from the last time I asked a few strips ago (which I will go back and check this weekend) feel free to do so in the comments. If you're wondering where Elianna is, she stomped off in another direction. Probably for the best as if she came around a corner and saw this display in her current mental state she would have hulked out for real. We'll get to this in a page or two organically but I thought I'd mention it here.  Also on the previous page I was going to show Morgan's Stadia hoodie draped over Liz's head aaaand I forgot to do that so she doesn't have it here. I'm sure one of her classmates will grab it for her. 

Anyhow looks like Bria is officially aware of her situation here! How do you think Royce and Casey are going to take the news? 

TRW Strips #116

A strip two weeks in a row? Not exactly. The strips are made with tweaked assets duct taped together with the intent of giving me a slightly lighter workload every other Monday. Nothing reused here, so it's a pin up wearing a strip's hat and glasses. I figure mixing these two formats will give me the freedom to add more elaborate sex scenes to the strip stories when they call for it.

Meanwhile this is the most pronounced body-type difference between characters I've drawn in awhile. So does Parker look super small or does Courtney look like a hill giant?

I try to keep Elianna grounded and sympathetic as a character, even if she is often an antagonist of sorts in the story. But I also think that every so often her rich-girl upbringing should creep through. You have to be a very entitled sort to speak to service workers as though you're the one signing their checks if you ask me. XD

Meanwhile it looks as though Morgan's sub-state can wear off on it's own even if she doesn't get any during its duration. Hope you guys like the page!

Isaac and Parker win the threesome vote in this month's Discord poll! I imagined it wasn't much of a leap to think that Parker and Courtney would hit it off immediately, as they're the two purest souls in the whole comic.

Trish likes Bria, but all the same I think it would be fun if she just can't keep her bully nature in check from time to time. Meanwhile in hindsight it's clear to me that I took on more than I could easily handle in a narrative sense with this whole scene. It was harder than I thought it would be to juggle so many characters at once without the pace being dragged down. Naturally it's a relief to me that the parties are starting to come together here. XD

Patreon Pin Up 2/12/24: Junpei and Yukari

Persona 3: Reload came out recently, giving me my long awaited chance to get revenge against the game. I say this because I loved the original but was never able to finish it. The game was frankly too hard for me and had what I considered to be a malicious disrespect for my time. Been dungeon crawling for an hour and took one unlucky hit combo? Too bad, sucker! Start over from your last save! You should have known better than to fight when one of your party members had a cold you idiot! 

But the release of the remake brings much-needed quality of life improvements that make it challenging in a fun way as opposed to a maddening way. I'm really liking it so far. I paired 18+ versions of Yukari and Junpei here because I think the guy could just use a break for once lol. Every Persona game has a male sidekick character who's just there for the girls to roll their eyes at so your player avatar can look cooler by comparison. If I had my way, Junpei would get thrown a bone every now and then. Though the girls would still be constantly dunking on him during the sex. Gotta keep some things consistent. XD
