The expected emotion would normally be accompanied by a very different soundtrack. Instead, we hear something very eerie and unsettling. Outstanding use of sounds to help tell the story.

All my thoughts are at the end of the episode but I can't help bring up the depiction of Johan. Feels like the window that we view him in has shifted a tiny bit. We saw some very different sides that kinda pull the audience in a new direction. Maybe that is just me but either way, its very interesting within the story SO FAR 👀

There are some live elements for sure, but it's still part of a "studio live" session.
That being said, I prefer THIS version of the OP vs what we have in the show.

This was the best episode of the season so far.

As far as episode delivery goes, the calm was nice because we have had SO much action.

Honestly, super sad episode.
Eva is an easy character to attach quick judgments to because of her behaviors and how she has treated folks in the past. The reality of her situation is just all doom and gloom unfortunately. They do a great job of writing her character to make you go through that initial hostile reaction to sympathy. These filler episodes are great, I do like the slow pacing.
Too much to type, all my thoughts are at the end of the episode as per usual.
