This was the last episode! I had thought there was one more when I made the schedule.

WOW! LOL. I kept waiting and waiting for this episode to turn the corner, but it never did.
This was pretty much a normal episode of anime with a little story that was borderline wholesome minus the massive scumbag. In my head, I was preparing for a sudden left turn into raunchy territory, considering the previous two episodes, but it never happened. LMAO so I can only assume now that ep 4 next week will be crazy π
This has been quite the adventure in Rome.
Two very cool pieces of music stuck out to me in this episode -
The orchestral version of the theme and the piano segment.
The sculptor's rock was pretty interesting. Am I to assume that was the reason for everything, or at least the fate factor leading to final results? I liked the Michalenglo quote usage. LOL only a matter of time until some AI prompt designer rips that off and makes it about themselves π

What a wild development from the start of the anime to where we are now.
One episode remaining to "right the ship"... IF it even can be. I don't think we are going to see a resolution. I feel like this story has changed delivery style. The last chunk of episodes feels so different in development vs how we started. All my thoughts are at the end of the episode.
Mannnnn Edouard is in a rough spot! Sad but I like where this is going.
Seems like we have a different type of night creature in this series of Castlevania compared to the last. Poor guy! The secret stairs in this was killer... the fight it gave access to was also.. killer π

For a storyline that is about people dealing with heartbreak, they sure do pack in a lot of good life growth moments. A good mix of everything tbh. We have two episodes left, and my main thought is whether anyone will get a win in their romantic interests. Don't tell me, it's obviously rhetorical, but I can't help but wonder.

and just like that, we are back on the wild path.
LOL it's such a departure from the few moments of "family" time we had in the previous episode. They do a great job at involving characters with such angles that are menacing within the story. We meet this killer here in this episode, but come to a soft understanding about his code of murder ethics and overall presence. It's an interesting way to tell the story.

Today is impossible for content.
Last night we had a late-night rehearsal, which I was zapped from when I got back.
I am leaving now to go to the stadium. Home games already have a very early call time before the game, but today is even more so, as we are playing with the drummer for Living Colour and doing a laser show halftime, which means extra rehearsals before the game.
There is just no time for recording. I can flex some of today's material into tomorrow.

I really liked the feature of Annette's backstory & method of encountering Edouard.
Their story works well for the setting. Hopefully, she continues to level up and develop her power/techniques with magic and blade. I had forgotten that Edouard was put in that Iron Maiden magic night creature forge device. So, I had to go back and look at ep 2 at the end of this episode. Looking forward to next ep tomorow.
Good reminders about why it's important to work hard, but not work so hard that it puts you to the point of exhaustion. Poor Komari. We do get a deeper insight of her value sytem and what it all means. It was great to see the group really come together and be drama free when it mattered for the festival prep. LOL, bro and his 8k vs 4k joke is gonna have me laughing the rest of the day. HAHA!
