I have a few heads ups here.

1.  The first 2 chapters of Nora 2 will be posted tomorrow (Sat).
2.  I will be reading SOO1 again after I get up to 3 or 4 chapters of Nora2 done and then starting in on SOO2.
3.  I will be getting back the edits for Nora1 next Wed-ish.  I need 2 people who are fast and won't take more than 2 days to go through the finished document and find any typos or obvious errors.

What should BC write next?

Hey everyone!

I kind of made up my mind about what to write before, but I just realize that the comments I see might not reflect what the community actually thinks.

I will be working on a new book with William Arand next for sure, but I want to write something else in tandem.

Make your voice heard!  My Patreon patrons (all of you) are the first folks I will ever ask about this sort of thing, so I'd like to hear your opinion.

2/10/2018 update

So...Nora 1 is almost done.  By "almost" I mean it'll be done in the next two or three hours.  I need to go get food (I'm starving) which is why I'm taking the time to write this now.

The story has 4 or 5 more chapters.  There is going to be a massive, epic update in less than a day.

This note is to let everyone know that I'm going to take a break for a week, maybe a little longer after the chapters post.  I need to edit Nora 1, do world building with William Ar...

Hi ya'all.

I've been busy AF.  So FYI, I'm going to have 4 or 5 chapters--basically to the end of Nora 1--to post before the weekend.

After that, I'll probably start releasing new chapters for Nora 2, and a new story I'm working on with William Arand.

Last - some housekeeping stuff.  Make sure you update your credit cards. A lot of cards were declined this month.  I had to just update my payment information too.

Hey all!

Thank you for your patience.  I've written, deleted, and rewritten the last chapter 4 times now.  I just can't get the right tone.  For those that follow my author workshops, sometimes getting dialogue tone right between characters can make or break your book.

Writing Henry/Jason interactions are easy for me now because their characters are so well established.  Nora is a little different.  To stay consistent, I really need to figure out not only a char...

BC status update 1/2

Hey all, I know it's been a while for a new chapter update and I want to explain why.  I've had kind of a perfect storm of things come together in the last few days that have beaten my productivity with a lead pipe.

Firstly, I'm not in denial about it anymore--I'm sick.  I avoided the flu last year, shrugged at con crud, sidestepped a number of other illnesses...but international travel kicked my ass.

I'm pretty miserable today.

A note about missed chapter release dates

I just wanted to apologize really quick about missing the dates I keep giving myself.  The unfortunate reality is that stuff keeps coming up.

BC Writing Workshop #4 - Executive Summary, id est, “How the hell am I going to make money?”

The actual structure of a business plan’s executive summary can take many forms.  You can scour the internet and find templates that work for you, but the norm is some sort of abbreviated style, sometimes including bullets.

Hey all!  I've been roughing it for the last week.  The pic was a view from my hotel room.

It was terrible.  Cough. Cough.

Anyhoo, I managed to pull myself away from the horror that was my week to write some chapters.  I just need to edit and post them.  Expect this to happen within the next 24-48 hours.

I definitely won't be sharing this cover (when done) with anyone outside of Patreon for a long time, though.

11/26 news

Hi all!  I am putting 2-4 chapters up today throughout the day.  I'm sorry I can't give a more defined number, but I keep deleting chapters and starting over for a critical part of the Nora story.

I wish someone had told me this writing stuff is hard.

Also, I don't remember if I mentioned this before, but I'm having the first Delvers coves altered to more accurately reflect the feel of the series.
