Followup Update

Almost done with that annoying chapter I mentioned, sorry for the delay. I had to essentially rewrite it the initial first time, and then go over it start to finish an entire second time based on the rewritten version. It was really rough. There's just one page out of 16 remaining for me to edit, so it'll be up tomorrow.

Small Update

Just letting you guys know that my rewrite of Coye Vol 2 Ch. 10 is going a bit slower than planned, it's the one where Shayla is on her own at night snooping around and it's taking a while. Expanding on it a whole lot and even then it'll probably need a second round of editing. Hope to get it done with tomorrow.

Sorry for the wait on this one. First I was sick for a day, and then it was Daylight Savings Time. It didn't hit me as hard as it usually does, but it still wasn't ideal. Not like it ever is.

Sorry, I know I said yesterday new chapter but I had a bad day in general and I actually didn't do like any work. So it got pushed to today.

For those of you who've read the outlines for this arc, I am thinking of moving away Gwin's stuff to directly after this arc. The renovations will still happen this arc, and they'll still tackle more Pinemen, but I want to reduce the clutter and having two big things be the center of this arc feels like it'd add more stress for me.

ROUGH DRAFT Coye Vol 2 Ch 18

Currently, all these chapters in rough draft form is 53,000 words. My goal is for +100k words, which would almost certainly be reached if I made this chapter the endpoint, started the rewriting process, and then made the next volume all of the Byng stuff. Typically when rewriting chapters I add two to three thousand words.

I need to think about it, as this might be a good stopping point. Narratively I think it might be a cute end to have some Shayla focus.

Update on How I'm Doing

Been a while since I've updated you all on how I feel about things, and the truth is kind of mixed.

I've been up and down, but work has been consistent at the very least. I'm getting rough drafts done for Coye vol 2 pretty fast and we're over halfway done, and I'm expecting to be done mid to late next month. I didn't meet my goal of having it done by the end of this month, but that's fine.
