shockingly underrequested banger

one of the anime songs ever. i'm surprised i didn't do this before myself. kinda forgot about it altogether... oops. love the track though! might do more macross delta, but i'd have to actually know something about the show first.

oh and trumpets. love me some horns.

fwa fwa

i can't believe i got to remove the "fuwa fuwa time" line from the original remix altogether without having anybody, not a single person, point it out. i am not sure whether i'm happy about that, or disappointed. nobody mentioned the half-time hard rock breakdown at 2:57 either. do you fellas even listen to the tracks i make or nah?

because i knew.

there was absolutely zero way in any hell I could've gotten away with making Devil Trigger and not making Bury The Light. So I did both, duh. Oyakodon eurobeat... kinda.....

I honestly thought this was gonna end up absolute shite but thankfully people really ended up liking it. the actual vocalist of the track, Victor Borba, came by to comment on it too! Moving up in the world.

bang bang

there's that one extremely recognizable pump action shotgun mp3 sound effect after the "bang bang bang, pull my devil trigger" part when the drop hits.

This song was living rent free in my head for a month straight after a friend showed me the /a/ sings - video of this(i think?). And i went on a long ass rant about the light rail avenger, Kairo Seijuro, and his tragic passing. I'm like that.

fun fact: i made the thighs ever so slightly thicker on this thumbnail. not a single person noticed. lmao.

you're telling me a smith forged this aero?

banger track. actually about the singer of Mötley Crue, Vince Neil. Ties in pretty close to that remix of Kickstart My Heart... which I had done after my Hanoi Rocks remix.

To those who know, Hanoi Rocks is one of my favorite bands of all time, and they broke up because their drummer, Razzle, died in a car crash. The driver at the time? Vince Neil himself. Can't say I like the bloke, or Mötley Crue for that matter. Sucks.

the best bon jovi track and that's just how it's gonna be. Runaway comes close, maybe..

Just a huge fan of 80s rock in general, if you've any bright ideas what classics I can get my mitts on next, be sure to let me know. Cheers!

for mother's day! It's my mum's all time favorite track ever, and she always asked me whether or not it'd be possible for me to remix it, because she thinks it'd be great!

A huge fan of the track meself too, and mother's day was coming up so I thought, fuck it, let's go. Funnily enough, the original song, by RAF, is Italo Disco.. The apple really doesn't fall far from the tree, now does it?

an attempt at making some GAIA style trance. Used to be a huge trance fan back in my day before I discovered Eurobeat. Funnily enough, the track is very close to what I used to produce in 2014, 2015 or so.. Shame I took most of the uploads down, I would've loved to show you what it was all about!

Making the track proved to be quite a struggle, however, as it was my first real attempt at using Phase Plant for synthesis, and I did not expect the impact 24 voices on every single synth play...

i love nightcore

making this silly little arrangement has to be the most insane time ive ever had after clicking the "go live" button.

i've naught to say here. The VOD is still up if you wanna go and see me make a fool out of myself in front of hundreds of people.

And my sincerest thank yous to each and every single one of you that dropped by, and though I don't remember everyone who shot a sub or two my way by name, as good lord were there a lot of you, know I appreciate it. And you. Cheers. See...

I LOVE ROCK N ROLL

I LOVE IT WHEN THE BEAT GOES GROOVY AND THE GUITARS ROAR

I WANT THE DRUMS TO GO HARD AND THE BASS TO GET GNARLY

THE RIFFS NEVER STOP

THE SOLO NEVER ENDS

really though, this tracks' just 'heavily inspired by-gone-a huge ripoff of' some of my favorite rock tunes in 6/8. A lot of the comments pointed out the parallels to that one FFVII track, but little did you know that the track also took a lot of inspiration from bands like Hurriganes, Sielun Velj...

song about a card or something

ahhh... time to unleash the writer in me and jot down some of my thoughts about what arguably has been the most complex project i've had the joy of making in a good while.. From dubstep influenced half time trap sections to a Thin Lizzy ripoff double L/R guitar solo, this track's got it all. Though very fast tempo-wise, the overall pace ended up being quite slow, however I really think tian nya and I nailed the vibes this time around as well, and i really quite am happy how it turned out.

zank you

this is one of my favorite anime ops in ages. The arrangement is absolutely incredible. The bass groove, the pianos and the horns. It just hits right. What a great track.

Apart from  the bass which unfortunately is rather set in stone with eurobeat, i tried my best to truly emphasize the pianos and the horns, or eurobrasses in this case. I also wanted to do a little one-two punch with the riff, feigning the 'da daa-da' part to be the riff in the intro, only to then break into...

ill be completely honest with you. i remember nothing about making this track. aside from the fancy dubstep breakdown using some Camellia presets, and some funky guitar work as well as fiddling with the tones to get something classic, making this project was a bit of a blur. Or at least feels like it now, two months after. I really don't deserve to have a patreon. Big thanks to people who've kept their pledge I truly do appreciate it.

here's for hoping she'll get her eurobeat original one day.

Bit busy still, so consider this as me taking a day off of work, rather than being back. I'll be back in january, don't you worry!

EUROBEAT.EXE

coming SoonTM (when the distributor figures out what the hell they're doing.)

So this all started from two different ideas, one of which first came from a lot of people using my remixes in their .EXE type videos on youtube. Thought to myself that there's nothing stopping me from literally just making a song and titling it EUROBEAT.EXE, and seeing where that gets me. Apparently it worked rather well!

The core idea of the song itself though, being midi guitar solos, came from a stup...

New songs.

Cloudberry High is up on streaming now! I'll be posting a full set of links when EUROBEAT.EXE is up as well... but about that...

A fun little hardcore jcore influenced track I really wanted to try my hand at making. Once again, not much to say about it, as i pretty much did everything on fly on stream. Sadly, once more, the VOD is probably expired by now, unfortunately, so you just gotta believe me when I say that I don't know how I did what I did nor why.

go johnny go

Walk of Life, huh? What a stream that was. Unfortunately the VOD has since expired, but good times anyhow.

As I kept rambling on through the whole stream, Dire Straits is one of, if not my favorite band, and Knopfler is the reason why I picked up the guitar (along with the guitarists of Eppu Normaali, Juha Torvinen & Mikko Syrjä) which is why contrary to what my usual eurobeat and rock focused productions might imply, i play fingerstyle when i fiddle around on the guitar.

That new song.

So, due to some weird ass fan content limitations from cover corp, i'm not taking any chances. I do not want to end up like that one holobass guy, so I'm writing a blogpost about the 'making of' instead.

Long story short, a Gura remix was going to happen regardless of what her first single was going to be like. If you know, you know.  Thankfully, though. The song was fuckin great.

Regardless, I never expected it to be a collab with one of the biggest hololive fan animators, ...

apologies for a giga-late upload to siphon the money i forgot to siphon a month ago.

And also, apologies for the recent radio silence. Got big things coming up, which some of you who may or may not have found me through clip compilations of a certain game may or may not appreciate.

Anyhow, it's been a long month of figuring things out, but we're finally packing the project up and getting the show on the road. I'll come back to my old personal projects as soon as possible.

march has been pretty quiet all things considered. Had some original work done as well as a few commissions on the side.

I've tried to offset the imbalance by making a bit more of what I have felt like making. I feel that I'm pretty lacking in terms of overall skill and just keeping at it with eurobeat isn't doing me great service to be honest.

Anyhow, we'll see how and what we're gonna do in the future. Don't really feel that "fuck yea, this would sound ace as eurobeat." feeling ...

Jager & Ace.

This collab was arguably one of the biggest moments of my career thus far. It's really hard to put into words how much of an honor it was to work with the voices behind some of the biggest bangers the genre has to offer, and how amazing it was to work on a track that played such an important part to why I make eurobeat today.

When SCP originally contacted me about what they wanted from the remix, Stefano said "For me it is important to add a touch of refreshing newness to the remix, so ...

bet you weren't expecting anything like this.

I've wanted to make a proper touhou arrangement for a good while, and opportunities don't get much better than this. Especially when one gets to work with a voice like T. Stebbins. Or was he Ken Blast? Not quite sure. He sounds a bit like Mortimer, though...

Massive ups for shinko for having me on as a guest, and arranging the collab between me and odyssey to close this less-than-great year off with a bang(er).

Cheers, lads. Thanks for the support this year despite the...
