Two of my faves back in the canvas, low key missed them.
I wanted to create a really intense and intimate atmosphere, that’s why I avoided the usual yellows/greens from my palettes and insisted on some high contrast shadows with mostly dark tones around them.

Something about his proportions make it so fucking fun and intuitive to draw. His skin is a texture problem but the way he’s shaped solves it instantly and makes it insanely less tenuous to paint.
I wanted some kind of sunday cooking vibe, like he just woke up and went straight to the kitchen.

Something something big lats.
Sketching this was a lot of fun, didn’t know where to find buff women as references so I ended up using like 3 or 4 refs for each body part (would not recommend).
