MonCurse Test Build V0.6.7.1 - Skill Cards (OUTDATED)

We're still doing weekly updates, apparently. Needed to fix some bugs that were left behind (overflow not working, body parts disappearing).

Test Build v0.6.7.0 - 2x Optimization (OUTDATED)

Imp's legs, all of wolf's and harpy's features are now colorable! Ram's clothes, too. Additionally, the game now uses half as much VRAM as it did before.

Separating all these parts requires 2x as many textures so the optimization became necessary and it worked out great, ~1000MB down to ~500MB. If anyone has had problems playing on android such as with random crashes, this might solve it? Maybe? You can never tell with android.

MonCurse Test Build V0.6.6.6.0 - Yappers (OUTDATED)

A bit of a Harpy update. Every character in the game now talks! Also updated existing enemies to acknowledge all the new parts.

There are some other changes you'll notice such as to debuffs and less obvious ones you might need to check the changelogs for. As usual, there will surely be bugs, I'll have to test and revise the new text more thoroughly but it's a huge pain to test because of how many different specific scenarios trigger lines!

V0.6.6.5 - Even more Corruptions (OUTDATED)

  • Imp legs, with some improvements to the 'body'/shrink transformation

V0.6.6.4 - Imp Corruptions (OUTDATED)

I've finished 2 of the Imp's corruptions so I'm putting them in. I'm also making it so the Imp tail gives you a facial makeover, which will instead be part of a cursed item (pixie dust) later, still need to draw it onto other sprites.

Quick Progress Update (Ram Scene)

I plan to release a test build later this week!

For all the worry I had about moving somewhere new, I did about 50% more work in the past week than I normally get done. I was already happy with how much game work I was doing before so that's, quite frankly, amazing. I hope it'll show with the new scene.

Imp Progress

A quick status update so you know I'm still here, working!
I've finished all the different dialogue art pieces for the Imp and their designs. I may still add some parts later and I may adjust their colors...
But regardless, that's the hard part out of the way.

As you can see, I've shoved them into the game, but these are just placeholders since I need "combat sprite" art for different poses. I'm starting with just an idle pose there but they'll have multiple poses for various act...

Imp Part 2

She's done! There's even an unclothed version but I'll let you find it in-game once she's in.

The image that's beside the "Poll Sketch" is what I'm going with, I'm planning to do the lines one last time to clean up the rough areas, plus I'm iffy about the clothes, mainly the panties.

The Map

I'll put this in the game somewhere later, it'll add some important context.
The top-left area is emphasised here, since it's where the player is. Other regions are a bit diminished, they won't be in v1.0 of Monmusu Curse! but they may show up in the future (and I'll expand upon them then). It's crazy to think my original plan had the player go all the way to somewhere that isn't even on this map and back again.

MonCurse Test Build V0.6.5.2: pre-imp clean-up (OUTDATED)

Getting closer to that new monster-girl. Here's more finished items from the to-do list:

  • Cat-Girl/transformed Voice

  • Abs for wolf class

  • Enemies do a little 'finisher' when you hit 0 hp

  • Ram's clothes now replace your push-shove

  • Hypnosis now also works on enemies the same as it does to the player

Moncurse Test Build V0.6.5.1 - Even more Wolf (OUTDATED)

I'm back from my trip (and covid), so we're back to weekly updates!
I added in an outfit change for the werewolf. You can wear pants / stockings with it. Aside from that, there's a list of QoL changes you may or may not notice.

In other news, I'm applying to move out of my dusty little dev-closet to somewhere -very- affordable, with actual office space! A year ago, this would've been impossible for me to do, they don't let you move much when you're broke. We'll see how that goes! View Post

... it has the same version number because I forgot to increment the Patreon version to V0.6.5, which is what it should be. I'll fix that if I have to patch it again.

The extra corrupton effects + wolf-tail / wolf-ears are in there, along with the Simplified Chinese translation and various fixes + improvements.
The recently added stuff (such as wolf ending) along with the Parish are still in the test build only.

Some of you rightfully asked "where's the collar?"
Here's the collar. It does what you expect. Also added load conversations, alt dialogue in the wolf ending depending on your corruptions, SFX, a bug fix to stop the wolf wobbling around.

Moncurse Test Build V0.6.4.5 - Werewolf Ending (OUTDATED)

Technically her secondary ending, I still plan to give her a proper first ending.

Safe to say, this ending is affected by two content toggles: If the bottom-right content toggle is off, you won't get the ending and will just get the existing wolf ending. If the regular Pregnancy toggle is off, the ending will be shortened.

I'll call this the "waiting for werewolf ending" update. Features:
- Some enhancements to the Werewolf's visuals
- A Chinese translation and a translation editing tool made by the community
- Revision of some of the more recent story conversations (such as fox-girl at the shrine -> voice in bed -> fox-girl on routea11)

Moncurse Test Build V0.6.4.3 (Corruption update pt2) (OUTDATED)

Last week I added werewolf TFs, this week I'm tackling the corruption system itself. Extra sparkles, an effect that shows on the player, repositioning the corruption bars, an extra effect when capping out the corruption that makes the corruptions unremovable (until you return home).

Moncurse Test Build V0.6.4.2 (OUTDATED)

This adds in a werewolf corruption, you'll notice the max TFs is now 16. You currently get it from both of the werewolf's scenes (but I heavily recommend using the wolf pelt) and it's fully drawn in every instance it shows up in. It's accessible in the gallery, too.

To avoid confusion with the first area that Voice is in, I'll be calling the newer village the "Parish". As you can tell from the last Patreon update I want to have a destination at the end of RouteA11.

Hi! It's been about three months since the last public build, I've since added some extra harpy corruption and a lot of smaller improvements (extra translations, visuals and effects, bugfixes, enemy AI improvements...)
