I had an instructor who used to tell me that when I’m depressed or frustrated I should stand on my head. That literally changes the way I look at the world. I see the same result from reverse striptease. It forces me to look at everything in a different light.

Something about the ox blood red of these walls drew me in from the first moment I walked into this house. They complement these beautiful acid green ostrich, feather fans that I constructed and dyed by hand. Each feather is vintage, from my collection of vintage feathers, that I occasionally turn into Burlesque Fans.
