Happy July, everyone! Made great progress on my book yesterday (should finish today!) so was able to take a short break and hammer out another little two-tone pinup piece. I'm kind of on a summer beach kick right now I guess.

Decompressed a little yesterday by coloring this past Supergirl sketch of mine (and then touched up those colors a little bit more this morning).
It's a sketch I honestly didn't think needed any color, but since I was having trouble focusing on much else, I thought, "Eh, why not?" So, yay! Bonus art over the weekend. :)
I know things are a bit tumultuous right now, but I still hope everyone's having a nice, and maybe even relaxing day. More new art tomorrow.

I haven't done much else but color my next graphic novel for almost three straight weeks now so I decided to take a short break today and draw another one of my little pinup girls. I like working on comics but I find that if I don't make some time to draw some personal art--just for myself--from time to time, I tend to get kinda grumpy. So this was a pleasant distraction before jumping back into coloring (which I will be doing as soon as I finish writing this post!).

I am busy right now! Started final art on a certain secret web-crawler book last week and the deadline is tight. A lot of late hours and a lot of blood-strained eyes noodling away at my Cintiq. RED PANDA & MOON BEAR is an excellent kids graphic novel series by my buddy Jarod Roselló. They are a bother and sister duo who, with help from their magic hoodies, defeat ice cream monsters, save dogs, go to the moon and basically fend off evil in all its forms.
