SuperBatober 01 - BACKPACK

AND WE'RE OFF WITH A... snooze. Haha. I promise things will get more exciting! Hopefully...

Anyhoo, a lot of different ways I could have ran with this, but the image of Babs passed out on a large backpack is what stuck in my mind so that's what I ran with. Had a harder time than I should have drawing that backpack too. I think I'm just rusty. Crossing my fingers things will speed up as I get into a good groove.

Easily could have used this idea on for the next prompt. But alas...

SuperBatober 2024!

Happy last day of September! Which means tomorrow is the first day of October. Or, as I have affectionally come to call it, SuperBatober! A month where I draw a new little Batgirl x Supergirl drawing every day and then collapse into a coma for the month of November.

It actually made a good first trial since it was easy to resize her against that halftone pink background. Moonlit Spiral - Linework Finished!

This morning marked a big day for me. After four and a half years of concepts, story polishing, layouts, a few Spider-Man books and waaaay too much fan art than was probably responsible of me, I finally finished both the writing and linework of my next creator-owned graphic novel! All whopping 300 pages of it. We also have a roundabout date of publication, Summer of 2026.

So this sketch was intended to be a new nondescript pinup drawing that very quickly ended up being Kara instead. Mostly because once I decided I wanted to use flat R/Y/B tones, I might as well just slap an S shield on the shirt. I think it would actually make a nice t-shirt if I could get away with it! Late Night Rescue TimeLapse

Almost forgot about it being TimeLapse Tuesday! Only a couple weeks in to this new weekly perk and already slipping. Sorry about that.

Putting a Wrench into your Wednesday

This drawing came about because I saw someone wearing camo pants which made me want to draw some.

Why this person is leaning up against a giant wrench, however, I have no idea. Is she super strong, and that's why it's so large? New Prints Back Up!

It's been over a month since I shipped out everyone's preordered prints and haven't heard of anything damaged or missing (yay!), so I think it's safe to put up the remainder of the ones I had printed back in my shop. Since I have, for the most part, limited quantities, I'm letting folks here know first. That'll give you the weekend to browse and shop and then I'll let the rest of the internet know about them on Monday.

Tea Time for Betsy

Felt like I've done a lot of sword wielding this last batch so opted for something a little different; a touch more chill. Its been a busy, scorching summer so I could personally use a touch more chill. Not sure what psytea would taste like? Maybe a bit like lilac (with a hint of lavender).
