I don't know why I never looked at any dog oc I've ever drawn and thought 'do they shed?' 'is there a winter coat and a summer coat?' 'can they get hair cuts?' Well he has one!

That mug is just asking for a big smooch.

Inspired by a song a friend sent me! (link below) It was really uplifting and I just had to draw something to it. I've had it on repeat pretty much all day, and I'm not sick of it (yet haha) This is just the sketch, I'll update this post as I make progress on it within the week.

A little Timbit

Surprisingly therapeutic! 

At the time of drawing this, it's been quite a while since I picked up the pencil due to everything going on, so I thought I'd just skip the sketch, skip the lines, and go right for the colour, so what you see is just raw, rusty art done to some chill music.

Just a little time

I always go to this soundtrack when I'm feeling down. It always makes me think and reflect about life and lifts my spirits.

 I'm really proud of myself for trudging through it despite everything going on lately. I miss Dad with all of my heart, and it'll show in the next few posts.

Update on Dad!

Hey guys! I just wanted to give you another update on Dad. Following the advice of a few friends and patrons, I tried to take it easy this month, and did my best to take my mind off stuff regarding Dad's health. He's not able to leave the hospital yet which we all knew was coming but Mom's been by his side this entire time so I feel good knowing he's got company for the brief times he's awake. She texted me a picture of him giving a really tired thumbs up and honestly, it made my entire month...

Life-y stuff 2

Dad got his surgery a couple days ago. They removed a lot of the necrotic tissue from his pancreas and quite a bit that died off. They were trying to let the body heal on it's own before any invasive surgery but they had to intervene to try and stave off the infections as it wasn't fully healing but the good thing is he's through surgery and the doctors said he is doing really good all things considered. He sat up, got up for some physio and they were really impressed with how much strength h...

Life-y stuff.

I'm not entirely sure what the best way to go about this is, but Dad's been diagnosed with a severe case of pancreatitis and has been hospitalized for, I wanna say 35-40 days I lost track. It's been a pretty big whirlwind of emotions, not knowing what the outcome will be or when he'll start showing signs of getting better, they're pretty small so far. Mom's been by his bedside since he was rushed in late January, and recently he was admitted to the ICU for proper care by a specialist. It was ...

Felt like drawing my khajiit character from ESO. A couple of weeks back, my friends managed to pull me into a game I never thought I'd get into, and it's been a lot of fun. (I'm so baby though... So weak...)

I recently learned you could import your brushes from PS to clip now so the first thing I did was get my favourite sketching pencil-y brush and started drawing whatever came to mind (mostly insanity) it kinda works good for fine inking too, I tried that on Timberloin's coloured pic at the end of the post.

I primarily use the iPad now due to my cintiq needing repairs, so having my PS brushes in clip on the iP...

January... January!

It's a new year!

Corona isn't gone, and probably wont be for a long time, but I'm being hopeful about the future. Posts are a bit sparse for December as the holidays (namely Christmas) have been extremely stressful with all that's been going on. It's been a hard month for me personally and my mental health hasn't been in the best of places, but I'm getting through it.  I'm glad December is done, and I'm feeling good!
