I was a little lazy and didn't get around to posting this when I finished it, so here it is now. Page 11 coming in just a second. 

Put to Task - Inks

I wasn't originally planning on making this into a full coloured picture, but then someone threw a bunch of money at me to make it happen, so... here's the inks! 

Forgive the greyness on either side of the scan- I once again forgot to scan this in before stapling it down to my big painting board so I had to throw the whole shebang into the scanner to get it here. It was this or nothing I'm afraid!

Things finally move into the bedroom!

Art is a bit rough in this one- still figuring out the new lighting for this scene. I think I made things overall a bit too dark, and I took the opportunity to play with an idea for painting the BG that didn't 100% work out, though with some adjusting it might... 

Just lots of trying new things here, so it's a bit bumpy. Hopefully the next page will be a lil' smoother, but as always I hope y'all like it despite the issues. :P

A Helping Hand - Page 10

So I've been doing a thing where I don't necessarily draw parts of the background even in scenes where they should be visible- it's a way to speed up the arting process on these comic pages, saves some time and work. As an example, we'd obviously see some of the couch and a little bit of the buck's leg at least in the first panel, but I didn't think putting that in would really add much anything, so I just left it out and went with the basic BG colour of the room. 

How does this work out?...

Another page done! Gale's cage is finally revealed, and the characters take a moment to talk about it. 

The colouring should be another tiny notch better in this page. Not significant, but I did it in such a way that should add just a tiny bit of depth to the characters. It's most noticeable on Gale here, I think.

Think I've finally settled on a way of doing lettering that works for me. From now on it'll just be a matter of practice and cleaning it up, but I don't look at it and hate myself anymore. The bubbles themselves need a bit of work but I think I'll have that mostly fixed in another few pages. 

I think I mentioned earlier that I was planning originally on having Gale wearing either nothing or a corset or something like that, but didn't want to have to sidetrack everything to explain why it'...

Got it coloured! Now that I've found a style and method of colouring I like, I've just gotta work on tidying it up a bit. There are some messy spots here that I'm not entirely fond of, but I've always been a bit of a messy painter. I'll see if I can clean 'em up as I go. 

Drawing in general could also use some sprucing up, as could the lettering (still, though it is better), but I do think I'm starting to get the hang of this a bit. Hope y'all are enjoying it so far! As always your though...

Once again lots of little inking mistakes here- I have to remember to take bubbles into account when adding background details. Also some character slips, but I should be able to fix those out in the final thing hopefully.

I think I've finally reached a point where I'm comfortable with the colouring style I want. There will still be some perfecting and tweaking but I think colouring should be a bit less stressful going forward. 

The actual drawing part is still long and difficult but I can at least look forward to colouring the pages now. x3

As I've said before, this is all very experimental, so I'm not going to feel too bad about trying new things mid-comic even if it messes with the 'continuous' feel a little bit. 

In this page I changed up a lot of things- shading method, paper, got a new brush to use... lotta changes.

It's got some problems- shading on the clothing is a bit weak in particular- but I'd be curious to know what you think of how this one looks, or any other thoughts you've got!

Decided to just go back to posting them as I go. It can serve as a nice little sneak preview, I guess!

No text yet, because I'm tired and want to go to bed soon, and there are lots of little ink mistakes that I'll need to touch up for the final version, but I think it's coming out alright.

Got it done! Not a perfect result by any means but I think it came out alright. Particularly happy with the background here. 

Would definitely love to know your thoughts, and if you've got any ideas for a decent title I'm all ears, I got nothing. :P

Monthly Painting - Sketch

So the voting earlier didn't really help at all, with the votes for group YCH and simple couple scene being split almost right down the middle. Thanks for nothing. ;P

In the end I decided to go with a simple duo scene. Want to finish it up fairly quickly so I can get back to fiddling with the comic thing, instead of taking like a week on a big group scene.

Also this is the last page that I had drawn and inked ahead, so I can now start applying some of my ideas for tidying up the writing a little bit. We'll see if it makes much difference, heh.

"Boyfriend" doesn't seem quite right. They're not married or anything so "husband" definitely doesn't fit. "Fuckboy sex slave" seems a bit aggressive. What do you call him? Hrm...

I think what I'm going to do is post one page of this per week on FA, and just upload them here more or less as I finish them. So while this first one is only going to be here about a day in advance for you guys, the gap should widen as time passes.

Monthly Painting - Vote!

Got some fun suggestions this month! Here they are, more or less as they were given to me':

1 - A sex train, three or four furs in a line each fucking the one in front of them. 

2 - Outdoor bondage camping 

3 - A drink serving tray strapped hands free to a service slave with bound up arms. 

I was also told that "deer even have a built in roof rack for accessory installation" so keep that in mind I suppose. :P
