First of September and a new age begins!
So what is coming this month?
The first demo for Yaradiel’s Crown!
To those of you who weren’t tuned in lately, Yaradiel’s crown is my current project. It is a third person RPG centered on combat, exploration and sex!

I don’t wanna go too deep describing the project (cause I did it like 5 times already on previous posts) so I’m gonna go straight to the important part: The first demo should be out either on the 13th or the 20th.
It depends on how the bug fixing goes. So far most of the core mechanics are done, and we are testing it a lot, but every time I fix something 10 new things pop up! (And that is totally normal for Alpha builds)
What will this new project include?

The easiest way to tell about this project is to say that it is a mix between Solas City Heroes and Kinky Fight Club 2, including all the fun stuff in both of them such as sexfights, combat, talents, customization, all the usual and loved adult settings, weapons, magic, and much more!
Of course as always there will be a Free demo on Itch so you can test the project before deciding if you wanna support the full demo or not.
I also had to make some changes to Patreon as well.
First I deleted the $1 tier. Basically it just caused issues with taxes and payment processors and all things, and at the end of the day it wasn’t worth it.
I remodeled all other tiers, but they will stay the same in general, with one exception being the $10 tier, now called Explorer tier!

For those on the Explorer and higher tiers, every month (basically with every game update) I will add a new secret code for a “Care package”, so those who contribute a bit more to help us keep the lights on and work on the game can get some extra goodies.
I tried doing the whole “Extra wallpapers” or that kind of stuff, and I’m not good at it, so I decided to focus on what I do best: make stuff in the games. So for those on Explorer and above, you will get a code that you can tell to an NPC on the game and it will give you some free stuff.
What stuff?
Mostly potions and scrolls, new weapons, upgrade materials, etc. Nothing game breaking, just a way to say thanks in the game.
Each month the codes will change, but older codes will still work, so if you support for 10 months and have 10 codes, you can use all of them on a new character.
Does this make the game pay to win?
Nah, everything that you get there is just some extra convenience. All the items can be found in the game, I will never make a game pay to win. You don’t need the care packages to play the game at all, it is just for those who contributed a bit more.
Billing changes
I will also be doing some changes to the way it works billing on patreon
This is mostly patreon just forcing us to do so, even if we don’t like it. I think in October or so, billing will change from being monthly (as in month-days 1 to 31) to being “30 days”. So if you join on the 14th, you will have access until the 14th of next month.
About Kinky Fight Club 2
The campaign for Kinky Fight club 2 is closing.
I do have some bad news, I will very likely have to postpone the launch of the game until next year. There’s a myriad of reasons for this, and one of those is related to bureaucracy, so that really ties my hands (and not in a fun way).
So yeah, I will be talking more about this once I get some answers.
And that is what is coming this month

I've been working like crazy lately, and I keep forgetting to show what I'm working on!
So today I wanna show and talk about Yaradiel ‘s crown!
But first, I ll be updating Kinky fight club 2 tomorrow to fix the latest reported bugs.
Now onto Yaradiel's crown
During your play time on the isle, there are some names that you will find often:
Yaradiel
The ancient goddess of love, lust and magic. Revered long ago, the whole Arkadia island was a place where her followers could go to have peace and flee from wars. While Yaradiel is not present in person in the game, everything on the island is in a way related to her.

Faerwen, the witch
As her name says, she is a witch. She traveled through the island and left notes on everything she found interesting. Her current whereabouts are unknown. Some people in the island met her, and all of them agree on one thing: she is a very powerful witch, even outside the island.
There doesn't seem to be any pictures of Faerwen... Maybe someone on the island took one photo with her?
Talara
Also known as “queen Talara” ( she self appointed that role) is our resident evil ruler on the island. You will meet her soon!
She is both powerful and cunning and managed to become so powerful that nobody dares to challenge her!

While Talara is very powerful, she can't do everything on the island, and for many tasks she employs her personal army: The onyx servants.
They do not look or behave like an army, however they are extremely loyal to her.
(They are essentially her militarized fan group)

Important: during September I will make some changes to the tiers, including deleting the tier 1. Because of transaction costs and all that stuff, I only get 0.11 centro of that, which means 90% of it is just gone… that doesn't make sense to me to keep it up.

Today I wanted to make a poll about which of the factions you are more interested in seeing in the game.
The purpose of this poll is to determine which of these factions I should do first. During the first two months I will be working with the two Tier 0 factions: The Onyx servants and the Corsairs.
But once these two are made, the players would be able to go to any of the Tier 1 areas, and as such I’m interested in knowing which factions you are more interested in so I can focus on making those first (and I can try to make the ones you are less interested in more interesting).
Once the game is complete players will be able to go to areas of the same tier in any order, however during development, I will be doing one faction per month (or every two months for the first few months that are more feature-development heavy)
The factions are divided on 5 tiers. The first enemies you will see are part of the tier 0 and aren't on this poll, however once you clear the starting area, you will gain access to any of the tier 1 áreas (and then tier 2 once tier 1 is cleared, and so on)
However during development I can't do it all at once, so I will prioritize them based on this poll.
Each faction has both combat and ero mechanics attached to them, as well as a style for their sex positions, so this will allow me to organize the whole development pipeline. For example if you are interested in the Prison forces for Tier 1 then I will focus more on completing all the bondage-related features. For Tier 3 all features should be in the game already, so it is mostly their flavor, rather than a focus-on-mechanics-development.
Please vote on the ones that sound the most interesting for you, and at least on one per tier (you can vote more than one if you want)
Factions:

Tier 1
Flamewalkers
A group of pyromancers and sorcerers who focus on learning the secrets of the flame. They both serve and fear Talara.
Sex type: none, they don't associate with any specific type of positions.
Mechanic: combat. Out of all the tier 1 factions this one is focused on combat.
Clothing: Orange and red tunics and clothing.
Prison forces
Before Talara took over the island there was a prison, and now both prisoners and corrupt guards rule the place.
Sex type: brutish / dominant. Tends to focus more on brute/villain type of positions.
Mechanic: bondage. Some of the officers will focus on restraining all the dissidents.
Clothing: Teal and white clothing, and office-style clothing.
Nazuban
Coming from the east, the nazuban are a clan of assassins, ninjas and samurais
Sex type: athletic. Tends to focus on positions like headscissors, wrestling, splits and other agile positions
Mechanic: poison, bondage. Some enemies will attempt to poison you and then perform combos. Some may try to tie you up (less often than prison officers)
Clothing: Violet, while and purple assassin, ninja and samurai clothing.
Desire enclave
A group of celebrities and party addicts who love to seduce their way to victory.
Sex type: service. Tends to focus on serving others and performing all kinds of erotic acts.
Mechanic: seduction and debuffs. They will use various techniques to weaken you and make you fall on their net of pleasure.
Clothing: Pink and black shiny clothing, and lingerie.
Tier 2
Technomancers
Scientists, engineers and vikings who grouped together to capture lightning on a bottle.
Sex type: brutish / dominant
Mechanic: lightning damage and stuns
Clothing: Blue and black, mech and viking style clothing
The Aelend
Forest elves that practice druidism and other nature magic.
Sex type: service and athletic. Some will want to serve you, some will show you their superior agility…
Mechanic: corrosive damage and healing. They will heal a lot if you dont interrupt their spells!
Clothing: Green and brown adventurer style clothing
Ravenwood coven
A coven of dark magic users gathering on the estate of a vampire family, what could go wrong?
Sex type: kinky. Not following any general type of positions, but lots of spanking.
Mechanic: shadow damage and hex. Hex will weaken you.
Clothing: Dark and violet dresses and sorcerers atires
Bunnies
A group of bunny girls without a clear objective and a love for explosions
Sex type: service and wrestling. Some of them are eager to service you, some want to make you submit
Mechanic: raw damage. Big hammers and explosions.
Clothing: Several types of bunny suits
Tier 3
Vael atar
Southern elves who focus on learning the way of the fist and blade
Sex type: wrestling and athletics.
Mechanic: counterattacks and grapples.
Clothing: Red and black latex suits
Lab forces
A secret laboratory hides a dark secret with crazed scientist
Sex type: dominant and service (however they aren't the ones servicing…)
Mechanic: bondage, stun, and a secret one.
Clothing: White and blue tight suits
Aelend highborne
Elf nobility that focuses on learning arcane magic.
Sex type: kinky.
Mechanic: they wear all kinds of offensive magic.
Clothing: Refined style clothing
Succubus
A group of succubus, loyal to Talara and willing to break their opponents will
Sex type: sensual. Both servicing and performing romantic-ish sensual positions
Mechanic: seduction. Debuffs.
Clothing: Violet and dark sensual clothing
And that 's it!
You may notice that some of the tags and mechanics repeat between tiers, and that is on purpose. With 150-170 twosome positions, and around 110 enemies, each with 5 different sex positions, we have enough content so that every position will be on at least three enemies, and at least once per tier!!
You may notice that for those in tier 3 I haven't gone deep in descriptions of mechanics and that is to avoid spoilers, but in general tier 3 factions will have mechanics of one tier 1 and tier 2 factions that came before. An example is the succubus, having the seduction powers of the Desire enclave and the debuffs of the Ravenwood coven.
And lastly
There will be Tier 4 factions, but those are for endgame and/or DLC/expansions, but I won't talk about them for a while!

Sorry for the delay, I had some hardware issues, so let’s get to the new stuff!
What’s new?
Campaign progress
I progressed a bit more on the new story, it should be playable for 10 or so new main events. Basically all of chapter two.
I also fixed a bunch of issues related to Story mode and progression.
Heavy bondage on the gallery
I added Heavy bondage to the gallery!
that’s pretty much it… It works now!
Improved main menu background
I made the club look a bit more pretty!

New sex positions
I added two new positions:
Standing thighjob 2 (which includes command and perform, as well as FF and MM variants!)
and Queen’s cowgirl
I also added two new threesome positions:
Breastsmother titjob and Breastsmother footjob
With these two completing the set of breastsmother-related threesomes!
New Stage: club room!
I added a new stage, which is basically just a huuuuuuuuuge bedroom!
Bugfixes
I fixed a bunch of issues, including bone scaling not working properly for some sliders, some gallery transitions, some typos, some preview positions not displaying properly, and some more smaller things.

While I’m here to collect information and feedback, this time it is not exactly about one of the games themselves but about what you like to play/see.
First a disclaimer: all information on this poll is anonymous, I don’t even watch who voted what, so feel free to vote with all your heart/desire, as nobody will judge you, but instead I will use this information to better design mechanics, encounters, talents, abilities and dialogues in the future.

Today I wanna talk about the objectives for this month, and all that is coming on August
Let 's get to it!
Story update
I will update the story and progress as much as I can, at least to complete chapter 3, I will try to make it a bit more, but I’m not sure how far I will be able to go.
New sex positions
I will be adding two new sex positions and two new threesome positions
Bugfixes
I will be fixing some of the bugs that remained from before or that I accidentally created during the remaking of the story mode
And that’s most for this month on Kinky Fight Club 2

While this doesn’t look like a lot, I’m having to fix a bunch of issues in the code for story mode, which is something that you guys will probably not notice the difference, but it is to prevent instances of data/progress loss.
I also will be working a lot on getting Yaradiel’s crown ready for September, so I have to keep both projects' workload in check. Speaking about that, THIS IS THE LAST MONTH FOR KINKY FIGHT CLUB 2 CAMPAIGN!

Regarding the release date of the game, I’m still hoping for October, but I may need to postpone it, for the sake of making a good story.
I believe the game has already reached all the necessary features and options to be released, and I don’t want to just keep adding more features just because.
With that said, I would like to know your experience from playing the game, to check if some more balance changes are needed, so please vote on the poll HERE!
Now, onto Yaradiel’s crown, I got some news, most of the combat mechanics are already working, and the sex system is already integrated (the basics of course, bondage and threesomes will come later). I have been making great progress on this front, and I believe I can get a fun demo for mid september.

There are still a lot of systems to make and integrate, but I will talk a bit more than on another post, or a video. My focus for this month is combat, and then level design.
I hope all of this news isn't disappointing to you, and you are hyped enough to keep supporting us, in these times of changing projects and stuff. Your support makes it possible for us to keep the lights on and work on what we love.

I hope you are having a wonderful day. Today is update day, yay. Sorry for the delay, I always try to update around the 15th but this month I got some issues. So let's get to the New update
The main feature of this update are the outfit system and the New story mode
Outfit system
I had to rewrite some parts of the clothing system but I added a new feature that allows you to save an outfit (only the clothing) and then use it on another character. (Or even the same character)
You can also share outfits, as they are located on the same folder of the saves, so you can send it to your friends!

Important:
Outfits are Male or Female. You can't use male outfits on female characters, and vice versa, however, you won't see male outfits when customizing a female character, so you could accidentally overwrite an outfit if you use the same name for both.
I reccomend using prefixes for the outfits, suchs as F_ or M_
Story mode rework
I basically remade the whole story mode. It is much simpler now, and there is no more running around. Dialogues were also remade and most of them removed. So the New story mode is more straightforward. The mechanic for training was also removed.
Due to all the issues and the massive time it took to do all this, I couldn't progress too much, and story mode now ends right at the end of chapter 1.
I will of course expand on this in the future.

New sex positions
I added two New sex positions and two New threesome positions, these last ones made based on a player sugestión and breast smother themed!
Bugfixes
I fixed a bunch of issues, and almost everything that was reported
Clothing improvements
I fixed some issues with clothing and added a bunch of new models and textures

This past month has been insanely busy, I had to deal with some bureaucracy and I've been working like crazy on Yaradiel's crown, which is progressing nicely. But I'm also a bit burnt out from working so much. I've been doing an average of 10 hours daily because I fear I won't get a first demo ready for september.
Hopefully I can get everything working and take a small rest. Turns out making a whole gameplay core in one month is as crazy and hard as it sounds…
So yeah a big part of my time is going there, and most of the updates are also being made compatible with Yaradiel's crown. An example of this is the Outfit system that will work the same on both games.
Anyway, this is a long post, so I'm gonna end it here.

Today I wanna reveal the new project: “Yaradiel’s Crown”!
This is the project I've been working on lately (codename castle) and now I wanna tell you about it!
What is Yaradiel’s Crown?
It is an RPG focused on combat, sex and exploration!
The game is somewhat inspired by some of the adult games I enjoyed last year, final fantasy and persona!

Of course the project is still on a 0.1 pre-alpha version, I still have a lot of systems to make, since RPGs use a lot of systems that other projects don't (for example, dialogue system, shops, quests, etc)
So far I’m making a lot of progress. I would say that 20% of the core features are already in place, which doesn’t sound like much, but I haven’t been working on it for too long either. I expect to have a somewhat decent first demo for mid september.
Story wise, this game acts as a prequel to Deviance, happening in the same place 11 years before. (And actually being part of the reason why the events of Deviance end up happening).
The player will go to Arkadia Island, in search of “Yaradiel’s crown”, an ancient artifact rumored to be somewhere in the ruins within the isle. However, upon landing on the island, things quickly start going off the rails, culminating in a series of events where the player ends up discovering that they can even learn magic if they wanted, and that there is an evil witch in control of the whole island…
Let me show you some of the cool stuff that will be coming in the next months:

Active time based combat, with the option to go full real time!
Exploration mode
Group combat, boss fights, traps, sexfights, and all the fun stuff!
All our classic sex features and the over 200 sex positions we already have!
Level up to level 50, and earn both combat and ero talents to create your own character build!
Different weapons and spells to use.
Great variety of Status effects (some linked to fetishes or fantasies)
Fetish system that can help you level up faster based on your selected fetish!
Enemies can capture you after defeating you, and you will have to escape!
Meet other characters on the isle, become friends, companions or enemies!
Your choices will shape the destiny of the Island and their inhabitants!
And much more!
All in all, this game picks the things that worked the best from both Solas City Heroes and Kinky Fight Club 2, plus the “simple” parts of going with an 3D explorable world. This is a midpoint between what I've been doing, and basically doing a soulslike-ish game on Unity. Some of you may be a bit turned off by the “active time based combat” (or may not even know what it is), but trust me, it will be much lighter than Kinky fight club 2, and more action packed!
(While it also provides a lot of opportunities for sexy outcomes!)

Some of the things you will see in the screenshots below may look cool, but aren’t completely functional, however these will be developed over time. I plan to add a few more “new” (as in new to my games) fetishes and content over the next months, for now it is just planned and I’m open to the idea. An example of this could be the “chastity” mechanic, where some specific enemies can put a spell on you that won’t let you cum until you either defeat them, or plead/submit to them! (As always all these niche-fetish stuff is optional)

I also want to take this opportunity to make a small poll.
As I progress in gamedev I learn more new stuff, and I get new tools to work with. One of the things that I realized (that some other devs do as well) is that in order to improve the game, a good idea is to collect player data. So I wanted to ask you if you would be interested in me adding the option for players to share their data anonymously (so basically just numbers of what talents and abilities are used, which aren’t, etc) so I can improve the game.
How does data sharing work? I don’t know yet. But if I were to do it, I would integrate unity analytics, so I can use it to track underperforming or boring abilities and talents to make them better, so the game is better balanced.

I’m a bit behind in Kinky Fight Club 2, honestly I got too hyped and wanted to finish a feature before returning to Kinky Fight Club 2 and now I’m a bit late, but expect the update this month for around the 17th, I’m working on fixing issues and remaking the whole story mode, which is taking some work…

I’m rebuilding the campaign so it is more fun to play. This month I will re-enable the campaign to be played with the new setup, and I will try to get as far as possible in the story.
The story has been rewritten, and the amount of dialogues greatly diminished (so each dialogue is more important)
Outfit system
I’m making a system so you can save an outfit, and then load it on another character (or even the same character on a different outfit slot). You can also share these with other people!

Key controls to the gallery
I will be adding some hotkeys to the gallery mode, so you can easily gain domination, lose domination, increase speed, decrease speed, etc, without needing to change menus.
New sex positions
As usual I will be adding two new sex positions!
And I will also add two new breast smother themed threesomes!
New skirts
I remade the skirts, and added a bunch of new textures so there is more variation!
Bugfixes
I plan to fix as much as I can!
And that’s most of it for this update!
You will notice this update is not that big on new features. As the development cycle for Kinky Fight club 2 is closing, there are more things to complete and polish, and I don’t feel there is a need to add new features. Rebuilding the whole story mode is taking a lot of time but I think the end product will be better, with a more straightforward story, and less annoyances.
I’m also progressing on the new project, there isn’t much I can show, since most of the work done is currently code, but I can show a small image of the setup I’m making for the player base.

The game will be set on an island with several temples, and one of those abandoned temples serves as the player’s base.

Today I want to write a little about the challenges I’m facing when designing and developing an RPG.
Since I already told about the delay on Deviance, I started working on a new project, codenamed “Castle”.
For this project I wanted it to be bigger than my current small projects, but smaller than Deviance. This to me is mostly translated to mechanics, the more “realtime” stuff, the more complex it becomes and more time-demanding it is. At the same time, I have been wanting to do a RPG for quite some time, and with Deviance development going so slow due to the nature of working on a new engine, with a baseline slower iteration speed, I decided to make this new game an RPG.
So something along the lines of Persona, or the old Final Fantasy games came to my head.
What are the first challenges for this project then?

[Super raw parts of player movement and the player "base"]
First I would need to make a way to traverse the world, while not fighting, and decide either on a top-down view, or a third person view.
Second, I would need to make a combat system, where characters can fight, but without going through the whole soulslike style complexity.
Third, I would need to make a good system for adding the adult content to the game and make it interact with the world.
Since I already made a prototype for a soulslike on unity, I already had some of these systems, yet I decided to go on a turn-based combat, because I don’t want to just make Deviance but on unity, and also because debugging and adding more functionalities to realtime weapon clashing combat is much more time demanding than working on turn-based, at least for me.
So I ended with an interesting compromise:
While not on combat the player could walk the work and interact with stuff, but when entering combat I will be using a turn-based, ATB system (Active Time battle!).
How is this different from traditional turn based combat?
Each character has their own turn gauge, and once it is filled, they can take their turn. This allows for a lot of interesting possibilities, where the player is more powerful and faster than most minions, yet it may sometimes end up fighting up to 5 enemies at the same time!
There will also be a setting for pausing the game during your turn, so you can read your attacks and abilities without any rush or pressure.
One of the main advantages of going turn-based is that I feel like I have complete control over it, and I can focus on adding complexity via status effects, spells and special abilities, so I can go more deep with this system.

So in a way, this game will be a mix between Solas city Heroes and Kinky Fight Club 2. The player’s character will have both a Combat talent tree and an Ero talent tree, so player will be able to customize their fighting style and their fucking style without one obstructing the other. Player will also be able to choose between a bunch of different melee weapons or spells to use, allowing them to build their own characters!
During combat, there will be two important mechanics to pay attention:
Block: Like most games, there will be a defensive option to just block attacks and receive less damage, but, some special attacks from enemies will have a bonus effect that only happens when the attack is not blocked or dodged!
Interrupt: There will also be spells being cast, and if those are not interrupted they can do all sorts of nasty stuff, starting from just some damage to all kinds of bonus effects.
Examples of the bonus effects range from massive damage, stuns, poisoning, putting a restraint (or two!) on the player, or even just straight up start a sexual interaction!

For game overs, I will be using a system similar to the one in Solas City Heroes, where whenever you cum you will lose some Willpower. If you run out of Willpower you will be captured (or just respawn on the city if you disable that module). Whenever you rest/sleep, you recover your Willpower, and there will be talents to modify these things.
Right now the challenge is to not only make all these systems, (from which, because of my incremental development style, I have the basis for the systems) but also make a whole architecture to support the interactions of those systems and the sex and bondage system.
So how is the progress on this?
I have been working a lot, like, a lot, and as such progress on this project is really fast. I’m very confident I will have a first demo ready for september. (It is insane to me the difference on speed when developing on unity vs unreal, I wish everything on Unity looked as cool as on unreal)
Of course a first demo will not have all the features and modules added, but I’m planning to include the player’s most loved features on the game, such as:
Bondage
Heavy bondage
Capture system
Threesomes
All the 200 sex animations
New Heavy restraints (such as the sybian, or wooden horse)
Dialogues with important choices to make
Having a companion*
*While the game is intended to be one vs many, I plan to add summon spells, and the possibility for a party member to go with you, so they can assist you with fighting (or you can assist them!), however this is more complicated than other features and may end up being added a bit later than the rest.
All in all progress is going great on this, I think by the end of July I could have ended the core gameplay part, and start looking into the world part of the game (as I don’t have a level designer anymore haha) and figure out what to do with the overworld and “dungeons”.

I’m feeling a bit sick today, which is why I almost forgot to make this post!
So, around mid October I plan to release Kinky Fight club 2, as most of you know, I always send CD-keys of the game to those who supported the development of the game for an amount equal or greater than the game’s price.
This poll is so you vote for which platform you want to get the key.
As a clarification:
In order to be eligible for the key you have to have supported Kinky Fight club 2 for at least $20 in total, so it could be one month in the $20 tier, 4 months on the $5, and so on.
People who have not reached $20 when the game is launched will not get the key, but if they later get to $20, and message me, I will send it to them.
This poll is so I can know on which platform you want the key, if you do not vote or contact me, I have no way of knowing, there are around 2500-3000 of you that rotate over the months, so this is the best solution I have to not go crazy.
So that is mostly it.
This poll will be open until the release of the game, and the keys will be sent one or two days before.

Today I come with some news!

First off, I uploaded a new small fix to Kinky Fight Club, (0.82F), which fixes the tournament not using the selected costumes, and the freckles slider not working properly.
Also since development for Kinky Fight club 2 is coming to its end and it is a bit stale lately, I decided that the last month that Kinky Fight Club 2 will be on patreon will be in August.
Starting in September the new project will be the main patreon project. So due to this, I will make a poll later today where you can vote on where to get your key for Kinky Fight Club 2 on release.
Important notes:
You must have supported the game for $20 or more, in total since the beginning of the campaign for Kinky Fight Club 2.
You must vote on either Itch or Steam, otherwise I have no simple way to check it. Itch is the closest to a direct download link, you just need an account so when I update your game you get the update.
People who vote and have not supported the game will get blacklisted, and never get a key for a game from me. I can easily tell who just joined a $1 tier to get the game “for free”, it is just a waste of my time.
If you supported the game, but didn't reach $20 by September, don’t worry, as long as you supported the game before the end of the campaign (last day of August), you will get it once the game releases if you reach $20 or more.
The release of the game has been changed to mid october, unsure about the exact date yet.
So with this in mind, during July and August I will focus on reworking the whole story mode, and getting the next project ready for a good first demo.
Regarding the new project (codename castle) I will make a project reveal soon, I have been crunching quite a bit lately, and I’m almost sure I will be able to get a good demo ready for September.

The Tournament!

Select your 16 fighters and make your own tournaments with this new feature!
You can play as any of the characters or just sit down, relax and watch them go at each other!
You will also gain some extra coins upon completing the whole tournament!
Character model updates part 2
I’m almost finished with the character updates, most notably I fixed the eyes that were bigger than intended originally, and I fixed almost all the clipping on the male clothing. There are some stuff that I will be redoing, like the skirts (cause they clip with garters for example), but in general it is 95% complete.
I also fixed all the things not working on the customization.

New sex positions!
Added two new positions: Submission spanking and Lifted cowgirl 2!
Submission spanking includes FF and MM variants, and Command and Perform starting actions!
Also added a new threesome: Cowrider! This requires the starters to have an active role.
Performance optimization
I did some cleanup in code and increased performance during the customization process.
Bugfixes
I fixed several bugs, both visual and gameplay related.

Small changes
I also did a number of small changes and fixes but none of those are worth mentioning on their own, you can check them on the changelog below

I came today with news…
There will be a delay on the progress of Deviance.
Why?
The programmer I was working with for the last 6-ish months, decided to leave the project to focus on another project that pays more… It seems every time I announce I've been working with a programmer I jinx it, and something bad happens, so starting from now, I won’t ever announce that I got a new programmer…
Since I learned that the chances of stuff going wrong when working with a programmer is always at least 50%, I always have a backup plan, even if the backup plan is for an already backup plan.
So I decided on doing some changes to the itinerary of games coming later this year.

First, I will keep working on Kinky Fight Club 2 for the next few months, but the patreon campaign for this game will end in october. That means, October will be the last month where if you pledge (and the total during all the pledge time is $20 or more) you will get the game for free on release.
After October I will keep working on Kinky Fight Club 2, but It won’t be the main project on patreon, it will be an RPG, that is not gonna be Deviance. I aim to release Kinky Fight Club 2 somewhere close to the end of the year after a bit more polishing.
Why not Deviance you ask? The game is nowhere close to being playable, not even in a state where I would feel comfortable asking for money for it. And there even is the chance that I may not find a suitable programmer over the next months, so this project is delayed.
Some of you may be wondering, Why don’t I just go all programming on Deviance, and while that is a possibility it will be the thing I will do if I can’t find a suitable programmer, but in general as I’m not so used to Unreal’s way of developing, doing everything there takes me forever, and I end up not having enough time to do all the other stuff I have to do (design, animate, write, promote, direct the work of the artists, etc)
So I’m announcing a new project!
This project was sort of designed as a prequel to Deviance, but then I decided to ditch it and go big, and go straight for Deviance. So it takes place in the same world, just a few years before.
This project is called “Project Castle”. That’s the codename I use, it is not the final name of the game.
What will this game be?
A mix between Solas City Heroes, Kinky Fight Club, and Deviance!
Sounds weird?
Absolutely!
But jokes aside, It is an RPG style game, with a gameplay similar to old final fantasy games or persona games, but with only one character.
You will be able to explore, run around and interact with the world, and then when encountering an enemy start a fight.
This project is the middle step between small games that I've been doing and the behemoth that is Deviance, allowing me to keep learning and going bigger.

It will be made on unity, using the new models, and maybe a bit more polished postprocessing and lighting effects.
I know this is not what some of you would like to read, but it is the best option for me currently. I don’t want to rush Deviance, and I can’t keep working on Kinky Fight Club 2 much more without it going super stall.
Think of this new project as the in-between, small unity games, and huge unreal games.
With some luck, I may be able to get Deviance playable by the end of the year, but I don’t wanna give hope when there is so much stuff uncertain right now.
Right now the truth is that I can iterate and work extremely fast on unity, and it is more likely I can keep making fun stuff on unity until I get enough time to become good on unreal or get good people to make it on unreal. I expect to have a playable first demo of project Castle for october.

Character creation fix
I will be fixing most issues with the customization of characters, including the clipping on clothing, and all other features not working as intended.

Tournament
I will make the tournament!
In this new Arcade mode you will be able to select a bunch of character and see (or play) the matches until there is only one champion!
Eyes adjustment
I will be adjusting the size of the eyes on the characters, they ended up being too big
New sex positions
As always I will be adding two new sex positions and at least one new threesome position!
Bugfixes
As always I will be fixing bugs and issues!
Passives rebalance and fixes
I noticed some passives are not working as intended, either by being too weak or triggering when they shouldn't. I will be fixing those and rebalancing those that were made for features whose functionality changed over the last months.
Optimization
I will do a new round of optimization to try to gain some extra FPS for older computers!
(Cause performance took a hit when I updated to all the new graphics!)
And that’s mostly it for this month friends!
The tournament is a very big feature, and I will be focusing mostly on completing that one, fixing all the stuff with customization and clothing, and starting to redesign the story mode (however you guys won’t see the story part just yet, as that is only in design space).

I don’t wanna talk much about my life, as that is not very pertinent to this space, but I will be away this month, so I will take a bit longer to reply to DMs and discord.

So today I just wanted to tell you about the progress on Deviance, some of my worries and how everything is going, and also make a small poll about RNG in dungeons.
First off, Deviance!
We are progressing quite well. However, the fact that my skeleton is different from the one from Unreal has proved to be quite a nuisance. On Unity I can use almost any animation that I get with my skeleton without much issue, however on unreal I cannot use any animation that is not specifically rigged to my skeleton. This is due to a bone rotation on the basis, an issue that I have been dragging since 2019. Now this wasn’t an issue on unity, but it is a big deal on Unreal. I already tried all the new tools and things to solve this on the Unreal side, but it didn’t work (including the new 5.4 stuff). so this let me with two options:
A - “Fix” the skeleton, and basically discard all the sex animations and clothing rigging.
B - Only use animations made specifically for this skeleton.
For obvious reasons I went with B, so I’m making all animations, that includes walking, running, jumping, rolling, etc. This has proven a bigger challenge than I anticipated initially, as it requires a bigger level of animation than I do. So I'm currently making some of these animations, and I’m happy with them just working decently, but I have scheduled to do a discourse in September to improve my animation skills (and then replace the placeholder animations for better ones).

So all in all, everything takes time, and on unreal, it takes three or four times as much. I also been working with a programmer for the past few months, and I’m limiting myself to do non-programming tasks, mainly so I don’t step on his toes while he works, but also because my dream is to be a creative director, not a programmer, so I’m trying my best to limit myself at only directing others (and also do everything else that we don’t have anyone for, such as animations, UX/UI, level design, game design, and basically everything on engine that is related to visual stuff).
This however puts us way behind my initial schedule, I don’t know how soon I will be able to put up a decent playable build for Deviance. I don’t like to do “tech alphas” where nothing works or there isn’t any gameplay other than “press X for animation”, so I would rather delay it than do a shitty product (AKA a Blizzard)

This as well raised some concerns and I’m thinking of possible solutions to have interesting content on patreon, as patreon is the way the game is funded mostly. I feel like Kinky Fight Club 2 still has some potential, but I don’t feel like milking it for many more months to be something I could do and feel okay with. The game is 80% done (excluding the story, which I will completely remake in July-August), so after that I would like to have something else to show. I haven’t made any decisions yet, I’m just thinking out loud here.
RNG and dungeons
In the meanwhile, there is some stuff that I like, some stuff that I don’t and some stuff that I really don’t have any strong opinions about. One of these things are procedurally generated dungeons. To me it is the same if they are persistent or random every time I enter a dungeon. (Depending on the game of course)
So I wanted to see what your opinion on those is.
Would you like Dungeons (specifically not overworld areas, always faction-specific-closed-areas) to be procedurally generated, or would you rather them not be and always be the same?
Give me your opinion on that!

I am preparing and writing a bunch of lore and designing areas, enemies, and stuff like that, and it occurred to me that some of the designs for enemies on Solas City Heroes didn’t really click much with players (due to the feedback forms results), while the “best” enemies did really click, I got the idea to request cool ideas for costumes for enemies.
So please go to the Discord channel of Feedback and suggestions, and put there images of what kind of enemies you would like to see in a RPG game!

Today is update day!
Sorry for the delay, I wanted to have this by monday, but I spent the last week doing a lot of last minute fixes, and everything I fixed something, something else broke.
So, let’s see what is new
Massive graphical overhaul
This is it, the big thing. I replaced and updated all the character models, as well as improved most of the clothing.
I also added a lot of new makeup options, and some new sliders to the customization.
So basically, half of the stuff is either new, remade, or improved.

Check the changelog below to see everything that changed.
The bad part of this is that you will have to remade/fix most of your characters, since the hairs changed.
There are also some known issues with clipping, which I will fix as soon as I can.
New sex positions!
I added two new positions: One foreplay position: Stepping footjob, and one sex position: Prone doggystyle 6 (the missing one!)
I also added two new threesome positions: Lifted Oral, and Lifted cowgirl!
(completing the “Lifted” series)

(note: I fixed that pantyhose clipping after taking the screenshot, lol)
Difficulty update
I updated the AI and the difficulties breakdowns. Beginner difficulty should feel easier, while harder difficulties are now smarter and faster, rather than having buffed stats. Let me know how this feels now, so I can tune it better!

New hotkey Q!
Based on a player suggestion, I added the Q key as an additional “return/cancel” key while playing. This is in addition to the “7” key to return, so you can use the key that feels more comfortable.
Bugfix
I fixed a bunch of bugs, as usual, however I haven’t had time to look into dirty talk bugs.

I hope you enjoy this update, I worked a lot to get this done, and this graphical update is the result of over a year of improvement on characters. The whole character model, textures, facial expressions, even the skin shaders are new!
I originally intended for these graphics to be used only for future games, but fuck it, let’s make Kinky Fight Club 2 the best game it can be!

Remade difficulty tiers, now they should be more fair. Please let me know if you find the easier difficulty too easy, or the harder difficulty too easy as well!
Fixed an issue with end of round domination becoming positive even if it was negative

I’m here today to tell you about what is coming, so let’s go!
Massive graphical overhaul
This is something that I didn’t planned to do for Kinky fight club 2 honestly, when I started preparing the new models and doing all the work needed to create new models with all the features that it include (body sliders, face sliders, makeups, etc) I wanted to do that for the next project, which you now know it is Deviance.
I had this idea that I didn’t want to “waste” the new graphics on anything other than the big RPG itself, so I decided against improving the graphical part for KYFC 2, however, with the moving the unreal, the graphics there will look way better and different, so it won’t be “wasted” (and even then, this concept of needing new graphical upgrades for every game is not really true, not even most of the AAA games do it).
So I finally decided to move it here, and man, I’m happy how it is looking, but I was not prepared for the amount of work it is requiring. Keep in mind that I’m not just updating the character models, I’m also updating a lot of clothing, including every single male item, because the new models have a better body structure for male characters.

The bad part is that you will need to edit most of your characters, as I had to remade the hair systems, - now with all new hairs -, and I also removed old low-ish quality assets, so some shoes may not be available anymore.
All in all, this is a massive effort that will take 90% of the work for this update. I have been working on this for the last 2 weeks nonstop and I haven’t finished yet!

More customization
As a part of the overhaul for the new models you will now be able to modify more stuff on your characters:
Eye shadow and eye lines are two separate things, you can customize!
Nails can be painted now
Characters can have genital tattoos!
A completely new system for [real] beards for men!
And some more stuff!

New character
The last returning character from Kinky Fight Club (1) is here: Austin “Ground Zero”!
He comes with new positions, and a mighty mustache!

New sex positions!
I added two new sex positions: Prone doggystyle 6, and Stepping footjob!
(Yes, I added prone doggystyle 7 before 6, that’s how my mind works sometimes)
I also added two new threesome sex positions: Lifted Oral, following the pattern of the previous lifted positions, and Lifted cowgirl, which is similar but a double penetration position
Difficulty revamp
I remade some things on the AI, and readjusted it, so the difficulty should feel better now. Mostly the easy difficulty will be way easier now, and the hardest difficulty should feel hard, but it no longer does it by modifying attributes, it instead reacts “smarter” and faster to player actions. Keep in mind the AI was not made much smarter, and it will still need to be made smarter in the future.

New textures
Some pieces of clothing will have new additional textures as the result of improving and remaking textures (like for example most underwear) and some as the result of just testing stuff that we ended up liking how it looked (like the case for pantyhoses)
Bugfixes
As usual, I will be fixing all the stuff I can, I already fixed some issues like the one with threesomes and tag switching on 2v2.

I have been extremely busy lately trying to get this done and didn’t really have much time to work on Deviance. However the rest of the team has kept working on it, so we are making some progress. The customization system is almost ready, and we can also walk and move around. There is still a lot to be done, but we are progressing.
I hope this new update will bring excitement back to Kinky Fight Club 2. I will also remake the story on july/August, so do not expect any new stuff in the story for this month or the next one.

Whats new?
Massive animation improvements
I got a stroke of inspiration (or my brain was too burned out to code) and spent a lot of time remaking old animations.
You may not notice much change on the animations, because I mostly fixed incorrect hand and finger positions, changed the framerate from 20 to 24 (as all the animations since 2022 have) and overall I made them more intense.
At this point I already remade like 60% of the old animations!

Gameplay balance
After reading all the feedback I got I decided to make a lot of changes to the overall balance of the game.
The general idea is that submissive builds are now weaker in general, and since they can Ignore the domination aspect they have to rely on buffs to keep ahead on the “damage race”.
Domination damage at the end of turns is a bit stronger, especially the farther away you go from 50%.
Temporary buffs have also been buffed, being twice as powerful as originally, I want them to feel as having an impact when they are on.
Since a lot of changes were made the balance may not be perfect, but with some more testing I believe we will reach a sweet spot where all builds feel powerful in their own way.
Reversal new mechanics
I also changed how the reversal action works. Now instead of requiring a certain amount of domination and a lot of energy, it requires escape progress.
In order to perform a reversal you have to consume 70 escape progress, so you have to set it up. This also gives more room to use it more often, but also for some counter play.
Counter style abilities no longer require domination, but their cooldowns have increased slightly.

Dirty talk
I added one very requested feature, the dirty talk!
Periodically, and when some specific things happen characters will say something!
The system is moddable, with 12 different “personalities” to set up for your characters to use.
There is a file in the game's folder on how to mod it.
Currently there is only one dialogue used by everyone because I didn't have time to make more, but for the next month I will add 2 more.
Base characters use the dialogues 1,2 and 3, so if you want to make your own I recommend starting from 4!
If someone is good at writing this kind of stuff and wants to help with this please hit me up, I'm terrible at this!

While this update does not feature many new things, it mostly focuses on cleaning up some of the current content, making the animations and gameplay more polished.
I also have been doing a lot of testing and I commissioned a custom skin shader for the game. I'm preparing to make a big update on some of the visuals for the next month!
